Welcome to Alison's English Holiday Cottage, and prepare to be spoiled!
This is my own winter home, and I have taken special care, time, attention, and (money) to furnish this as uniquely and comfortably as possible.
The Master Queen bedroom is furnished with custom fabrics with matching boudoir chair, dust ruffle and custom headboard,and top of the line Queen Spring Air mattress. This bedroom has a 13" TV with DVD, and Tiffany-style hanging lamp.
The spacious 1400 square foot (1600 including the
Florida room) home has a large kitchen completely outfitted for all your cooking needs, including coffe maker, toaster, mixer, waffle iron, cake and cookie pans,etc. and adorable handpainted china--there is even a kitchenaid mixer! There is a two seat bistro set for coffee overlooking the garden.
The lovely Florida room overlooks an old orange grove,and features rattan furniture, and offers the beauty of great Florida sunsets in a country like, romantic setting.
In the dining area, the NEW cottage style dining set comfortably seats 6-8.
In the living room there are two extremely comfortable sofas, a 27" TV/DVD/VHS combination in living room, 2 easy chairs,and walls and shelves are decorated with fine English pottery china.
Second bedroom has a full bed & chair with custom fabrics and a top of the line pillow top Spring Air mattress. These furnishings are NEW and done in a turn of the Century Country style.
Third bedroom has twin beds with handmade country-style quilts, shabby chic furnishings, and a 25" TV.
As many of you will be staying at holiday time, we will be decorating according to the season as well with appropriate linens, towels, accessories and china. We have even included Lenox Holiday dinnerware for your holiday feasting!
This is located in a gated beautiful manufactured home community with 3 pools, hot tub,SAUNA, kiddie pool, tennis, badminton, horseshoe areas, fitness center, fishing, billiards, basketball, and just about any activity you can think of. Last but not least, golf is just across the lake; 5 minutes away.
Vista Del Lago (where the home is located)is 5 miles West of Disneyworld on 192, and is surrounded by restaurants, and has 24/7 security. I will provide a caretaker who is available 24/7 to assist in any emergency or to answer any questions. There are even pizza outlets right at the entrance of the community!
The property is situated one three lakes, one of which, Orange/ Raccoon Lake is 90 acres, and a great sport fishing lake.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO FISH FROM A BOAT, WE HAVE A FISHING GUIDE WITH BOAT AVAILABLE FOR SEPERATE FEE TO GUIDE YOU TO THE BEST FISHING ON THE LAKE FOR THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE! This is a service we provide individually, and is not available to the rest of the community. Fishing is also excellent from the wharf or even the shore.
If you love wildlife, there are Sand Hill Cranes nesting on one of the three lakes which surround the property, and the grove, and property are home to both golden and bald eagles, and red tail hawkes!
Be my guest, and this will be a wonderful experience for the whole family, one that you will want to repeat year after year!
The garden has just been planted with my own orange, grapefruit and lemon trees, so if you are here while they are in season, you can pick your own fruit trees!

Peak Season .. $600/week.
High Season: 2 Weeks April, Last Week May to First Week September, October 15-31.
Low Season: 2 Weeks April, October, December, 3 Weeks May, September, November.
Peak Season: Easter Spring Break, Thanksgiving, Last 2 Weeks December.
