The "Waterfront" on Venice Island has a brand new ribbon of bike trails that takes you to the newly revitalized public beach on Venice Island or allows you to stroll to beautiful downtown Venice, one block away. Venice has a small-town charm and prides itself on not being a Spring Break destination. The climate is temperate - cooler in the summer than inland Florida and rarely less than 70 degrees in winter months. Two new Trek bicycles (one man's and one lady's) are provided for your use.
Venice is a golfer's paradise. There are more than forty golf courses near Venice that are beautiful and challenging, yet very affordable. Golfing in Venice is one of the great values in the golfing world.
The lifestyle on Venice Island is active, but laid back. Twenty-four-hour fully-lighted tennis courts are a common gathering place in the center of town. The Venice Little Theater with live stage performances is next door to "The Waterfront".
