A cozy cottage just 1 hour from San Francisco by car but a world away in small town ambiance.

Sonoma offers you your choice of outdoor adventures or in-town comforts with a small town feel. Drive 10 minutes to award winning wineries, art museums and galleries, historic sites and museums, parks, sports and nature. Take a 20 minute walk or 10 minute bike ride to the square in Sonoma.

There you will find great restaurants, wine tasting, wonderful boutiques and an old-time town square. Year round, the square is the site of festivals, music, a weekly farmers market or just friendly get-togethers. For a truly relaxing experience, book in at one of Sonoma's world-class spas within walking or driving distance of our house.

The house combines modern comforts - newly remodeled bathrooms and kitchen with the comfortable lived-in feel of a house well-loved. There is a very private Master Suite with a Cal-King bed. A double bed in the 2nd bedroom with an extra-long pull-out couch in an extra room. Guests who sleep here never want to leave.

Outdoors, there are places for those who like the sun and those who like the shade. Have morning coffee on the front porch surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Grill and eat outdoors at a generous dining table under umbrellas. Watch the beautiful sunsets from the back patio, and stay out under the stars and the Sonoma moon with heaters, if you need them.

Everything is provided. 2 bicycles and helmets available for use. County bike path is just 2 minutes away.

  • This was our second stay, and it was as wonderful as our visit last year! The cottage has everything and is marvelous, the walk to the town plaza is delightful, and the location is superb for accessing highways, services, stores and restaurants, and, of course, for touring wine country.

  • Several friends and I looked for an affordable way to get away for the weekend and relax in Sonoma (we live in San Francisco). We looked at various places near the square on-line(ie: hotels, b&bs, houses) and found this to be a challenge. Finally, we found this place, and we couldn't have been happier! The experience from the outset with the owner was enjoyable, and when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Not only were we only 3/4 mile from the square, the house was so homey, well appointed, spacious and relaxing. In addition, the price was right! We definitely plan to return as soon as possible. We all would highly recommend staying here!

  • We are a two married couple who stayed at the cottage at the beginning of September 2008 and it was everything we had hoped for, very well equiped, lovely comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The hot tub was an added bonus. We would certainly recommend the cottage to friends & would stay there again if we return to Sonoma, which is a lovelt little town that we also loved.
