It was girls weekend - we are from Morgan Hill. 4 of us enjoyed the great getaway. The house is very quiet and relaxing. We spent allot of time on the front porch where it was shady and private. Would be nice to have cozy furniture on the front porch, but the landscaping is beautiful - we loved it. The house is great and has everything you need - it has an open and inviting appeal. The backyard has a couple of different little places to gather and enjoy. The beds were very comfortable - and we all slept great!!!! I would recommend this property. I believe it's best for 4 people.......

Sonoma Cottage

We had a great time in Sonoma, and the cottage worked out well for us. We wished th weather would have cooperated a little more so we could have enjoyed the deck and jacuzzi. We did however, grill out one night. It was very handy having a washer and dryer, since we got rained on a couple of times. Met the neighbor lady who welcomed us in for coffee, very nice. The cottage reminded us of places we stayed when in Key West. Would recommend.

Three "C"s.....Cozy, Charming, Comfortable (also CUTE!)

Six weary travelers arrived at the cottage late afternoon (due to weather delay at SFO). Opened the door and walked into a very nicely furnished living room. A bottle of wine awaited us on the kitchen table along with a brief but very complete set of notes on how everything worked. We drew straws to see who got which of the three bedrooms (we got the back bedroom with the kingsized bed and seperate bathroom!). Each of the other couples indicated they were very pleased and comfortable with their bedrooms. All in all, our accomodations added greatly to the enjoyment of our wine tasting weekend. The cottage is well furnished, the kitchen is well equiped and the location is terrific - walking distance to market and restaurants. We are already planning another visit to wine country and will definitely be returning to our new "get away" cottage.

so quiet and serene

This cottage had everything we needed to really enjoy our time in Sonoma. The inside is very comfy and the gardens are wonderful. the location was perfect to explore this part of California or just sit and watch the world go by. We did have to share our outdoor table with the bees but we so enjoyed the resident humming bird,too. The mattresses could use an upgrade for our older backs but other than that the accomodations were wonderful. It was so great to have the homey touches available, like coffee in the freezer and wonderful towels in the bathrooms. We would highly recommend staying at this cottage and we hope to return sometime in the future.

We just spent a week at the cottage and the pictures didn't do it justice. It's more spacious that you perceive from the pictures and the deck and yards look like they should be n Subset Magazine. The owner is a pleasure to deal with. Well located with the Sonoma Highway and great shopping a few minutes away by car --- kind of an ambitious walk to the square, but if you have bikes you're there in minutes. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous place this is! Four newly-minted 50 year old women chose your home for our girls' 50th getaway and we could not have chosen better. The property is immaculate inside and out with all the amenities (and more!) that one could ask for. The house was so warm and inviting and comfortable that we ended up spending the majority of our time hanging out there in spite of our previous plans to shop and wine taste etc. We especially appreciated the beautiful gardens, front and back, whether reading the morning paper or enjoying an al fresco meal. We discovered the park that is just two blocks away and enjoyed its many trails for our daily walks. A walking trip to the nearby square yielded a great meal at The Girl and The Fig and cheese and wine tasting without having to drive all over. We look forward to returning to your little slice of Heaven!

We all really enjoyed my family's stay at your home. The place was perfect, plenty of room and nicely suited for children. They especially enjoyed the back yard and we especially enjoyed them staying there at night so we all had some down time. It was perfect and they say they will be back each year now so I will definately be keeping this listing.

Nice girls weekend in Sonoma

This was by far the most affrodable place I could find in Sonoma for 7 ladies. It slept all of us very well. 6 in the beds and 1 on the fold out couch. The hot tub was great after a day of wine tasting and the patio out back was simply gorgeous and so relaxing. Our first night there we just kept it simply with take and bake pizza and wine on the deck. It was perfect outside. The only complaint was we couldn't find the DVD player and we couldn't find the spa chemicals. We were only there for two nights so we didn't want to bother the manager, but if you read this we couldn't find them. Other than that the house was great, nice and quiet, and was much better than we all expected. It was such a bonus to have two bathrooms with 7 ladies. The next time we have a girls weekend in Sonoma we will be sure to stay at this cottage.

We absolutely loved this amazing place...it completely exceeded our expectations! My family and I were in Sonoma for a wedding...we were visiting from both Santa Barbara and Detroit, so it was a perfect getaway for us all. The backyard completely blew us away~breathtaking and so peaceful! We enjoyed all of our meals outside on the beautiful patio. The master bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. All-n-all, we truly did not want to leave. So, there is no question that we will be back~thank you!

Beautiful & Comfortable Home Away From Home!

The pictures of this house don't do it justice! This cottage is adorable and has everything to make your stay comfortable. The backyard is gorgeous and we had to have a BBQ one of our nights just to enjoy it even more. We used the hot tub everynight and you get a great view of the moon. The cottage is close enough to the Sonoma Square but far enough away to be in a quiet neighborhood. We had a great time and can't wait to come back! Just a few recommendations: We loved The Girl & The Fig and El Dorado Kitchen restaurants on the Sonoma square. We did wine tours with Platypus Tours and they were great. We also enjoyed Fume' Bistro in Napa. Our favorite wineries in Sonoma were Loxton (where the owner Chris did our tasting and taught us a lot about wine) and Robledo (just a beautiful place with an even better story!). You will love it here!

For my first attempt at using vacation rentals, I couldn't have picked a better cottage for the three of us to spend time in Sonoma. My husband and adult son were very surprised and pleased with how everything turned out, as was I. The cottage was easy to locate and we were within minutes drive to downtown Sonoma. We really loved the back yard and spent time there each evening. We would definitely stay here again.

I have had the pleasure of visiting this amazing property on many occasions and for different events as well. Weekend getaway, healers retreat, family vacation. All of my experiences are way above expectation. All the amenities of home and that is why this is our home away from home. Who needs a timeshare when this gem is available. We couldn't have been more delighted with this lovely place. It was very roomy and very well laid out for both comfort and privacy, as well as being thoughtfully stocked with anything we could possibly have needed, and more. The decor was elegant and friendly at the same time, and the bedrooms were all SO comfortable and inviting. (Don't let the one pull-out bed put you off - it was very comfortable!) This is a true home-away-from-home, with our only disappointment being that we didn't have time for a longer stay. I guarantee, we will be back! PS - the owners were extremely friendly and generous in sending us helpful info on local attractions ahead of our trip, much of it being personal observations and favorites.

We enjoyed our holiday immensely. The cottage is very comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. We particularly appreciated the proximity to Sonoma Plaza and the cycle track. It is an ideal base from which to discover the natural beauty of Northern California. The children adored the hot tub.

This was our second stay, and it was as wonderful as our visit last year! The cottage has everything and is marvelous, the walk to the town plaza is delightful, and the location is superb for accessing highways, services, stores and restaurants, and, of course, for touring wine country.

We had a lovely time at this Sonoma cottage. We had a large group for the house, but it was just right for all of us. Our 2 little girls loved their sleeping arrangements and everyone was very happy - grandmas, mom and dad, kids and family friend. The yard was very nicely kept and made for just the right amount of exploring space. Very conveniently located. Clean and wonderful customer service from the owners. We'll be back again.

Several friends and I looked for an affordable way to get away for the weekend and relax in Sonoma (we live in San Francisco). We looked at various places near the square on-line(ie: hotels, b&bs, houses) and found this to be a challenge. Finally, we found this place, and we couldn't have been happier! The experience from the outset with the owner was enjoyable, and when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Not only were we only 3/4 mile from the square, the house was so homey, well appointed, spacious and relaxing. In addition, the price was right! We definitely plan to return as soon as possible. We all would highly recommend staying here!

We are a two married couple who stayed at the cottage at the beginning of September 2008 and it was everything we had hoped for, very well equiped, lovely comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The hot tub was an added bonus. We would certainly recommend the cottage to friends & would stay there again if we return to Sonoma, which is a lovelt little town that we also loved.
