Our Inlet Cove cottage in West Beach is a peaceful spot, an 8-10 minute walk to the 10 miles of golden sand beaches of Kiawah. If you haven't been to Kiawah, you haven't been to the beach! It is truly a paradise of maritime forest, 30 miles of bicycle paths, unsurpassed river, ocean, and marsh views, and a beach that can be enjoyed at any phase of the tide. We fell in love with Kiawah, and we know you will, too!
Special offer for the 2012 PGA tournament week includes 4 Wanamaker Club week-long passes allowing access to the championship grounds as well as the air-conditioned, sports-bar themed Wanamaker Club pavilion with indoor seating, multiple HDTV's, and upgraded food and beverage available for purchase. Free tickets for juniors (17 and under) are available with each pass (up to 4 per ticket).
If tennis and golf are your passions, you couldn't find a better place to enjoy each. Kiawah's 5 golf courses were designed by Pete Dye, Tom Fazio, Clyde Johnston, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player. The famous Ocean Course was Host Site for the 1991 Ryder Cup Matches and the 2007 Senior PGA Championship and is planning for the 2012 PGA Championship.
Tennis magazine has rated Kiawah #1 in the 2004-2005 list of 'Greatest U.S. Tennis Resorts'. Both clay and hard courts are available, along with fully stocked pro shops.
Our cottage is fully equipped with everything you will need for an unforgettable stay. DSL wireless internet service available, too. You can watch the ebb and flow of the tidal creek in the backyard from the screened-in porch or deck, or sit in the double glider at the edge of the house. Very nice, well-maintained and well-equipped home. Kiawah is our favorite beach destination, and I think this home is the best value, overall.

GREAT family getaway!! We went with our daughter, son-in-law and 2 grands (ages 3 and 1). I can't say how many memories were made that weekend. The only problem, we did not stay long enough. The house was wonderful and convenient to everything. Just a bike ride to the store, pool, beach, and trails. No one wanted to leave. The perfect weekend. We plan to return many times in the future. My 3 year old granddaughter wants to go back to our "Pretend House".

We rented this cottage from 3-23-08 thru 3-28-08. It was a wonderful vacation. The cottage was very warm and welcoming. A great family home to stay in. Everything was very clean and neat. The beach was a little walk away. Which I walked to everyday. You can find lots of shells. It is like having your own beach. The Freshfields Village has a great grocery store to shop in. I didn't find it until the 2nd day there. There are a couple of eaterys and some great shops to shop in. I would recommend it here greatly. I hope to come back and I would definately rent this cottage again. It is only about 20-25 minutes away from Charleston SC. It's a straight shot down Hwy 17. Great Property.
