Come stay at this secluded log cabin with incredible views. Kick back in the hot tub after a day of hiking, skiing, or sightseeing and enjoy the 50 plus mile views. This cabin is approximately 20 minutes from Boone and West Jefferson. All four ski resorts are 25-45 minutes away. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a stones throw away and we use it as the way into Boone and Blowing Rock. We are located at the end of a half mile gravel road at approximately 4000 feet elevation on four plus secluded acres.
There is a full kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, range, coffee maker and toaster oven. Two bedrooms downstairs (one king and one queen) each with private bath. There are two lofts. One with two twin beds and the other is set up as a reading room with a queen sofa sleeper. The Lofts overlook a vaulted beamed living room with a stone wood burning fireplace (firewood provided), and Satellite TV. New DSL Internet service.
Heart of Pine floors and beadboard panelling add to the atmosphere. Four french doors (two from living and one from each bedroom) lead out to a 900 square foot deck with patio furniture, hot tub and gorgeous sunrises above the fog covered valleys below.
We are very kid friendly with video games in the loft, Billiards, ping pong, darts, and air hockey in the garage and don’t forget Tweetsie Railroad is only 25 minutes away.
