Come stay with us in the mountains of West Virginia. Hemlock is a three-level, Appalachian log home located minutes away from the year round Snowshow Resort, not to mention world class mountain biking, hiking, and other outdoor recreation opportunities. Or, if you like, kick off your shoes and enjoy the majestic view from the wrap-around, two-level, covered deck or take a soak in our new hot tub!

This all wood home has two bedrooms with queen beds, with a separate queen suite on the first-level with private bath. An additional queen bed is located in the loft, and a pull-out sofa offers comfortable sleeping for up to ten adults. Hemlock comes fully-equipped for all your vacationing needs including a full kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. Additionally, the living room and first level bedrooms have TV, DVD, VCR and satellite.

The recreation opportunities in the area are endless year round, and Hemlock is located within easy driving distance of Snowshoe Mountain, world class fly-fishing and countless trails in the adjoining Monongahela National Forest. Ski and Snowboard rentals are easily accessible at the nearby Elk River Snowboard Shop. Additionally, you can find information and guide services for everything from mountain biking to fly fishing at the world-renowned Elk River Touring Center. Groceries, gas, and fine dining are only minutes away.

We enjoy vacationing with our pets, and would like to extend the same opportunity to our guests, for a reasonable deposit.

Elk River Snowboard & Ski is offering VRBO renters and property owners at Snowshoe a 10% discount for pre-booking ski and snowboard rentals. Elk River Snowboard & Ski is a WV family owned business that provides fast, friendly customer service and is open late. The main shop is just down the hill Hemlock and the mountain shop is located in West Village at Soaring Eagle. Just ask for the reservation form with your rental inquiry!

We are pleased to bring you amenities such as a hot tub, but please understand that sometimes circumstances beyond our control may limit access for short durations. We appreciate your patience and strive to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable!
