We played in the March of Dimes charity softball tournament in Tahoe and chose this place because of its central location to everything in South Shore. It was well appointed, clean, comfortable, and overall a great cabin. Unlike many rentals, the owner took the time to add little treats, fresh coffee, candy, a personalized hand written note welcoming our party to the house. I could go on, but it was a very enjoyable experience for everyone in our group. We look forward to staying there again!

This is an inviting, greatly-appointed, super clean, beautiful home, perfect for a quick ski trip or an extended stay. It has everything you need, just bring food and your desire for a great mini-vacation. Netflix on-demand (free) worked perfectly, and the spa was hot and clean. We will be back very soon!
Owner response:Excellent! I try to keep the cabin fully stocked so guests can relax and enjoy their vacation. Next time you visit you will find little improvements we've made to increase the quality of each stay. This week we restuffed the sofa cushions, added more couch pillows and throw rugs. Over the next few months we will start plans to build a firepit on pavers in the backyard just in time for roasting marshmallows this summer. Thanks for your business. I went with a group of friends this new years for 4 days and it was amazing, super close to the casinos (only 11$ cab) and really close to heavenly, even though there wasnt much snow this year we still had an amazing time! The home was very welcoming and owner is amazing with staying in contact with you if you possibly needed anything! The kitchen came with anything you could possibly need to cook, and bathrooms were well stocked, in any house ive stayed in before they are always missing something so this made it VERY convenient! I will be staying again when the snow decides to come around!

My wife and I went to Tahoe hoping a predicted storm would provide enough snow for snowboarding, but th e storm didn't happen. Oh well, we still had a great weekend in this roomy cabin with a great hot-tub, and we were close enough to the casinos and awesome hiking trails we forgot about lack of snow!

I had the pleasure of staying at this property on opening day of the 2011/2012 ski season at Heavenly. The location is truly fantastic. It is right on the shuttle route to Heavenly CA lodge so I was able to walk out the front door and flag down the shuttle from the street right in front of the house! Unfortunately only the gondola was running due to insufficient snow so I had to take the shuttle a few miles to stateline, which is still very close, less than 5 minutes. Once it snows enough to open CA lodge, the shuttle ride will be about 1 minute and may even be reasonable walking distance if your ski boots are not brutally stiff like mine. Given the close proximity to Heavenly CA lodge and SLT stateline, I'd say this is just about as good as it gets. The house is very nice externally and internally. The layout is great for a large group. We had 9 people staying there and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There were 3 couples, two of which got their own private rooms with a cal king bed. Everyone else got a double bed of their own. One couple even got the private studio (aka the loveshack) over the garage! I didn't get that lucky (but I think they did!). I liked the 47" LCD TV with Netflix and Pandora. The xmas tree and xmas lights outside added a holiday feel and show that the owner really cares about making this a fun place to spend time. The spa was perfect. Clean, no chemical smell, looked new. And located RIGHT by the backdoor so as to minimize the pain jumping in when its 15degF outside. Two BBQs out on the deck. We used the Weber gas grill and it did a great job of cooking fish and chicken. House has full array of baby gear including crib, high chairs, toys, etc. Nice for families. I liked the rustic but modern interior. Nice T&G wood ceilings and open beam architecture, beautiful granite counters in the kitchen. Very cool smooth glass top stove. When not skiing the few open runs, we went hiking to Eagle Lake by Emerald Bay, which is beautiful. Also visited Steamers, a great local pub with excellent inexpensive draft beer choices. And Charthouse for a great steak. And the Pachetta (sp?) winery for tasting. Tahoe is awesome. In summary, we had everything we needed and had a great time. Highly recommended.

Its nice you were able to utilize the studio as the room is spacious and provides guests with the option of cooking and storing food, etc. It also has plenty of room for extra bags and a separate bathroom. It is great to hear you enjoyed the spa and BBQs. I've recently purchased new covers for these items. I'm glad you were able to utilize them and give great feedback. The Heavenly Shuttle runs about every 15 minutes past my house. I have also been able to flag down the shuttle on the corner of Needlepeak and Verdon. As ski season gets fully engaged, they may add more official stops along the way. Check the website (BlueGo) for scheduled stops. I'm hoping this season has amazing snow. The thing that impressed me most about this rental was how great of a hostess the owner was. She had put up Christmas lights and a Christmas tree to make us feel at home during the holiday season, which an owner had never done for us before. She made sure that we had everything we needed, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The house itself is great: clean, in good condition, and very cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped and the hot tub is perfect after a day out on the slopes. From the house it is about a 10 min walk (in ski boots) to Heavenly, or a 1 min drive (as advertised). If you want to get to the casinos or clubs on the Nevada side you are looking at a 5 - 10 min drive. Despite being so close to Heavenly, the neighborhood is exceptionally peaceful and quiet in the evening. This is the best rental I have experienced in Tahoe. We would definitely come back to this place again.

Great cabin!! Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living/dining room -- everything is very clean, well-kept, and new. Bedrooms are very spacious. Hot tub was awesome! Terrific stay! Very close to Heavenly Ski Resort. Owner is very nice and very responsive. All around great experience.
