The cabin is charming. I was so impressed with the location, the condition and the fact that it was stocked with everything I could hope for. The owner was great at returning emails right away with any questions I had and everyone in my group said it was the best cabin in Tahoe they had ever stayed in. absolutely wonderful place..location is absolute best..wonderfully appointed and the hot tub was epic...can't wait to get our next SUGAR PINE fix....looked at other properties while we were here..nothing else can compare..we'll be back...Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This place is great. The owner is extremely helpful, and the location can't be beat. It's on a quiet street that is walking distance from Heavenly, and a short drive from all kinds of other Tahoe activities! I stayed there for a long extended stay this season and very much enjoyed it. It is so close to the mountain that we either walked or took the shuttle to the mountain the two blocks. We had a few issues with the garbage disposal but the friendly neighbor came over and fixed it. One thing I will say is parking is a bit limited, but across the street is public forest land so we just parked there.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

The place is great. The owner is extremely helpful and responsive. The cabin is SO close to Heavenly! The common area is a bit cozy if it is a full cabin, but it is quite comfortable. There is not much space for food storage in the kitchen, but we made it work. Overall I would highly recommend this cabin.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

Cancellation policy:
1.) Parking: All parking is to be in the garage/carport, especially in winter. You are limited to 2 vehicles on the property. Other street parking may be available but not guaranteed. 2.) Snow removal: In the winter the City of South Lake Tahoe will plow every snowfall of more than 10 inches. They plow around the clock if the storms are bad and you will be cited and/or towed if you are on the street. The fine and/or tow charges could be over $100. 3.) Ski/ Snow Board Equipment: Lockable ski and snow board equipment closet in garage/carport. Please utilize this space for ski and snow board equipment storage. The key to the closet is located on the house key ring. 4.) Sleeping: Maximum 12 people. 5.) Kitchen: Dishes and utensils are provided. Pots, pans, bowls and ovenware are also available. Appliances include a dishwasher, single oven with glass range top, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, coffee grinder, refrigerator/freezer, washer and dryer. Please leave all equipment and dishes in clean condition. See attached list for kitchenware inventory details. 6.) Supplies: For your convenience shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, laundry detergent and dishwasher soap are provided. If you have a special preference, please bring your own. 7.) Telephone: Due to the prevalence of cell phones, no land telephone service is provided. 8.) Heater: WINTER - When departing, set thermostat at 55 degrees. DO NOT TURN OFF - PIPES WILL FREEZE! 9.) Spa: When departing, please set at 80 degrees. Ensure the spa light is turned to the OFF position. Please re-cover and re-lock after use. 10.) Cleaning: Our housekeeper will clean the premises when you leave; please leave used beds unmade. You are responsible for making sure all dishes are clean and in cabinets. Please bag and remove all trash and personal items. 11.) Garbage: Pick-up day is early Monday and all garbage must be in the container with door securely closed, in curbside structure, the night before. Place all garbage in Bear Bin structure before departing. Boxes and non-food items can be bagged and left outside the bear bin. Be sure to place all food items in the Bear Bin. This is a forested area and we do have wild animals. This is a non-smoking house. If smoking outside, please pick up your litter. Please help keep the area neat. 12.) House key: Lock box has been installed on porch. Please return key each time so it won’t get lost. Deposit will be returned after housekeeper has inspected and ok’d the premises. Code will be given when we receive the balance due. Please be sure to let us know of any problems you may have had so we can correct them as soon as possible. Enjoy your stay!
