Call Western Carolina University to check the entertainment schedule and plan to catch a concert, play, athletic event, or craft show there. Mountain Heritage Day, held the last Saturday in September, is always a great reason to visit the area. Perfect getaway for one family or for a group. Great location for church men's, women's, or youth retreats. What a wonderful place for the whole family to share Thanksgiving or Christmas together.
