Location: Twin Oaks, Wild Dunes, Isle of Palms, Charleston Area, Rest of South Carolina, South Carolina, USA
Accommodations: Cottage, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 6-8)
Keywords: Cottage
Enjoy all the amenities that Wild Dune Resort has to offer from our centrally located upscale cottage. This house has, very recently, been totally renovated (top to bottom) and professionally decorated, keeping in mind everything that a family might want while on vacation. Located in the popular Twin Oaks area, this cottage is only a short, six-minute walk to the Grand Pavilion.
The master bedroom, with a private bath, offers a king bed, while the two guest rooms (one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds) share a common bath between the two rooms. All three bedrooms offer top of the line mattresses, luxurious 350 thread count sheets, and custom bedding. All three rooms have full entertainment centers with TV and DVD and/or VCR. The two guestrooms have play stations and game cubes for the kid’s (both young and old) entertainment.
Upon entering the house, you will enjoy all the spacious living areas. The dining area, with a table for 6, opens to a cozy reading area in front of the fireplace, perfect for "chilling out" with a good book. This large space opens to the graciously sized den, complete with two sofas in front of the TV, and a game table, making this the perfect spot for family gatherings! The entertainment center has everything you could ask for, a TV, DVD, VCR, and stereo. We have even added high speed internet for those that just have to "keep in touch".
The completely renovated kitchen offers granite countertops, custom cabinets, and stainless steel appliances. Extra seating around the bar lets family members keep the chef company. This open kitchen boast all the top of the line cooking and entertainment pieces you could ask for!
While this house was professionally decorated, we took a very "hands on" approach with the designer. We wanted our beach house to have all of the same amenities and luxuries that we enjoy in our "year round" house. We hope it will be a favorite of all who stay here!

Fantastic home for a family Vacation!!!

My family and I just recently rented this wonderful home for a week. I could not have picked a better property! Everything was so comfortable and welcoming. It is located right in the middle of Wild Dunes so it is very convenient to get to everything offered by the resort. We did have a problem with the cable but all we had to do was make one phone call and a lovely young lady was out immediately to fix it for us. Everyone was very helpful and the house was just perfect! I would highly recommend this home to anyone! PS- There is a review (I think it will be below mine) about the carpets. I am guessing that since that review, the owners put down new hardwood flooring in the bedrooms. It is gorgeous!

Nice Place Needs to Clean Up the Carpets

We stayed at 63 Twin Oaks a few weeks ago and found it nice. Everything was functional but the carpet in the two bedrooms was filthy. I didn't want my grandkids to be even walking on that carpet. The location is good but a golf cart would be a great addition. We tried to rent one once we got there but everything was already reserved. Althought the beach is not far once you start bringing kids, coolers, umbrella's it becomes very inconvenient.

We had a great stay at Twin Oaks and would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for high quality dog friendly accommodation. The facilities at Wild Dunes are excellent and we all loved eating the sandwiches on the beach from Hudson's Market. Close proximity to Charleston and Mt Pleasant provide good options other than the beach which is just why we keep returning to Isle of Palms

I wouldn't classify this as upscale

This property's carpeting is in very bad shape and dirty. It seems as if the maid service is doing just a mediocre job. Behind the door in the guest bathroom there was dust and what appeared to be dog hair. The dining table was sandy and dirty when I wiped it down on the sides at the glass. My 20 month old daughter even found a pill on the floor at the dining table...it wasn't ours... The linens in the master seemed worn and a little gross. The bedroom with twin beds had something brown on the comforter. Pretty gross. The layout of the property is nice and the location is good, but I know when even my husband comments that it doesn't seem very clean...that's pretty bad.
Owner response:I will have to say that i was really surprised to see a review of this sort from this renter. We never heard a thing from her while whe was there. We provide a local number to call if there is ever a problem. We could have immediatley gotten the housekeeping staff back out to the house and taken care of everything. I have forwarded the responce to my assitant so that she can correct any of these problems. I'm just sorry that I did not know about them when the guest was there.

This is a beautiful home with everything that you need for a great vacation. Lots of space and well stocked. Very cleand - we have a toddler with severe indoor allergies and she has no problem here. It is a short walk to the beach or a short drive to the grocery, dining and shopping. We'll be back next year!!

My husband and I stayed at 63 Twin Oaks at the end of August this year. The cottage is beautifully decorated and offered everything we needed to feel at home. We were also able to bring our dog which meant alot to us. We definitely recommend for others to stay at this cottage.
