A huge open contemporary for large groups with warm hardwood interiors and plenty of privacy including 4 bedrooms which are private suites with their own private full bathrooms.
Featured on the front page of the state's largest newspaper ( August 2005, Union Leader ) as one of New England's finest views, this home is truly a special mountain escape. A place where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the White Mountains, the Presidential Range, and the beautiful, vibrant village of Jackson, New Hampshire.
A winding driveway leads you to this one-of-a-kind warm and inviting home, built at a cost of $1.6 million in 1999. It is perfectly sited on ten acres of land overlooking Jackson Village. The walls of glass offer stunning sunsets and spectacular western views of the Presidential Mountains. The quality marble, granite, mahogany, and Brazillian hardwoods used to construct the wide open spaces will enhance your vacation experience. You will enjoy the mahogany and glass gazebo with six-person hot tub while sipping a favorite beverage, especially after a long day of skiing at any the three local ski mountains or the famous Jackson Cross country ski trails nearby. Or perhaps you'll enjoy the bubbling water of the hot tub after a challenging hike or round of golf in nearby Jackson.
This gorgeous, contemporary post and beam Lindal Cedar Home is in impeccable condition. A dramatic entry way leads you into a large open space anchored by a beautiful granite fireplace reaching up to the 25 foot tall clear cedar ceilings and surrounded by rich Brazilian cherry hardwood floors.
The spectacular kitchen with stunning granite countertops and a matching granite dining table shares sunset views of the Presidential Mountains (including Mount Washington, Tuckerman Ravine, and Attitash).
This large open kitchen includes only the best appliances... in duplicate of course :-) Two Bosch dishwashers, Two Thermador ovens, Two Kohler sinks, a SubZero refrigerator, wine cooler and a Viking stove. And that is only the upstairs kitchen!
Downstairs is another kitchen in the family room with refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher which is really convenient after billiards or popcorn and a movie (viewed on a 60 inch Sony LCD TV ), in front of yet another granite fireplace. Views downstairs are spectacular with sliders opening out to a stone veranda overlooking the Presidential range.
The recently refurnished romantic master bedroom is a large suite with a king sized four poster bed and sitting area in front of the gas fireplace with a marble surround. It leads to a deck overlooking the mountains. Amenities include a beautiful cherry cabinet which houses a 32 inch TV above the marble fireplace. My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying here for a long weekend. The house is so beautiful and has many lovely extras, like the enclosed hot tub, bedrooms with private baths, a kitchen with two (!) dishwashers, and multiple fireplaces. The home was clearly built to maximize the amazing mountain views. The windows on the main floor are enormous - I can't imagine what it takes to clean them! Speaking of clean, everything in the house was immaculate. The mattresses were very comfortable, with beautiful linens. The decor is a great mix of luxury and comfort. There are interesting pictures on the walls, a gorgeous marble dining table, couches designed for taking a nap and many personal touches that make this a home - not just a house. I look forward to visiting again very soon.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Great weekends for guests are what we hope for. :-) I know that you and your family also had a chance to check out some of the local fun, skiing and tubing at Cranmore and snowmobiling as well. Sounds like it was fun for all. There is plenty to do in the area year round. Keep us in mind for another memorable family weekend. Warm regards, Gretchen and Ken

What a great time we had! Absolutely beautiful setting with jaw dropping views. The house is spacious, beautifully furnished, and clean. The kitchen is well equiped. The kids were wonderfully entertained by the pool table and fooz ball. Our favorite was sipping a glass of wine while enjoying the hot tub as the sun set behind the Presidentials.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you for staying with us again! We hope that you enjoyed the new mattresses that we put in every bedroom. Did you notice that a couple of the beds have been changed from queens to kings? We thought that would give our guests more room. We are glad to hear that you had a great time and hope that you will consider staying with us next ski season. Our best, Gretchen and Ken

Our large group enjoyed our stay at this amazing house immensely. We spent a week during the New Year holiday (2012-2013). The views are amazing. The house was in excellent condition and very well appointed. The kitchen and dining area were particularly impressive. The kids enjoyed the playroom on the lower level, while the adults relaxed by the fireplace. It was a pleasure to deal with the new owner of the house. We had an unforgettable wonderful vacation and we look forward to go again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are so glad that you, your family and friends had an enjoyable time at the Jackson Estate. We greatly appreciate your positive comments and helpful feedback and hope that you will stay with us again in the future. Our best, Gretchen and Ken

A group of family and friends celebrated a significant birthday and had a great time. All our guests were so impressed by the views and the layout of the house, which had ample room for the 16 of us to enjoy games and cooking and eating together. Clean up super easy with 2 sinks and dishwashers! Bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable, with so many thoughtful details (nightlights and motion-sensor light switches in the child rooms. The hot tub was perfect!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

It's hard to image a more beautiful house in a more perfect setting. This Lindal Cedar home is perfectly placed on 10 acres near the village of Jackson. It's open, spacious and very high quality throughout. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by the caretaker who served us a glass of wine while she showed us around the home - allowing us a chance to get oriented. A crackling fire was in the fireplace with fresh flowers and small plates of cheeses and snacks. What a surprise .... a most welcome surprise after our drive. The rest of our stay was just as wonderful as the start. Superb layout for a large group of guests. An incredible kitchen which is open to the huge great room and dining area. You could fit 30 people in this space very comfortably. We were expecially surprised at how impeccable the kitchen was. Everything was shining and spotless all the way to the polished silverware and spotless wine glasses. The kitchen accessories and appliances are of the quantity an quality to rival a professional restaurant. Loved it! Owners plus caretaker (Janet) couldn't be more attentive. The house is very well cared for. Their expectations are high, and guests benefit from this level of excellence. If you can, try to visit this home and this area. We love This romantic village of Jackson New Hampshire, and all it has to offer. The owners like to recommend the Thompson House and we went "twice in one week." Exceptional food in an old barn like setting. 5 stars to JacksonEstate(.com) ..... And thank you to JanetRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Came with 'The Posse' and had a wonderful time! The Jackson Estate was even more beautiful than the picures showed. Upon arrival we were treated to a chilled bottle of wine, cheese and fresh cut flowers. A very warm greeting... We were fortunate with great weather. The skies were blue and the mountain tops were covered in snow and crystal clear. The views were just incredible from almost everywhere in the house. Guys were able to go golfing and the girls were able to go shopping in Jackson & North Conway. We rented ATV's in Lincoln and had an amazing time cruising through the woods and rivers beds. There were 10 of us on the trip (5 couples) and the house never felt small. Dinner at the Thompson House Restaurant was excellent. We all had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it...Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband reserved this house for a long weekend to celebrate my 40th Birthday and it couldn't have been a better surprise. We had the most amazing time with some of our best friends at this magical place. We didn't want to leave the house!! Instead of going out to eat we went food shopping and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The hot tub was perfect with just the slightest hint of snow lighting up the sky. The views first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee were priceless. We plan to rent this house again and perhaps enjoy a holiday with our entire family someday. As a lover of outlet shopping, I couldn't tear myself away from the house to indulge in one of my favorite activities. I would highly recommend this for anyone that wants to enjoy truly being in the mountains while enjoying luxurious accomodations!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a beautiful home with one of the best views in the mountains. The owner is beyond gracious and helpful. Best owner of all the homes we have stayed over the years. The home fits ten comfortably. Trust the pictures! You will not be disappointed. The town of Jackson is peaceful and quaint. It has a nice golf course and good food. The best is the Thompson House. Everything in the home is first class. Only caution is you do not have use of a washer and dryer during your stay. Plan accordingly. We highly recommend lease this house.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Washer and Dryer are available / online once again as of June 27, 2011 Both washer / dryer have been replaced with new high tech, high capacity, stainless steel LG units. We enjoyed hosting the Kentucky family above and are pleased everyone enjoyed their visit to JacksonEstate. Breanna ( JacksonEstate.com )

A PERCECT VACATION ? Great accomodations, which meet / exceed the needs of the children and the adults ! The budget was "stretched" when we booked this beautiful Jackson Mountain home .... believe me it was stretched for all of us. But in the long run - it didn't matter one bit ! We spent fantastic days together in a comfortable yet suprisingly spacious home, we never felt crowded because of the home layout and the warm use of Cedar throughout. The home and our vacation were PERFECT ! The home sits on 10 acres of land, and is complete with grand Western Views of the Presidential Mountain Range. Sunsets are spectacular, as is the approaching weather systems from the West. The memories we shared with our family, including our grandchildren, was worth ever penny of the weekly rental rate. First off - the house is "immaculate" .... and I mean "spotless" .... the huge kitchen is superbly outfitted for a professional chef, and everything is orgaized perfectly. Location is perfect for privacy with great access to Jackson Village restaurants, golf, Wildcat River, ski areas ( which you look down upon from Tin Mine mountain ). The check-in was very professional by Corrine ( she's a former attorney, now property manager for Jackson Estate ) glasses of wine were poured for us ( a huge surprise ) and light appetizers provided ( a bonus ) as we walked around the house with all three fireplaces warmly welcoming us to this beautiful home. Superb Service, Grand Views, Quality Construction, Great Location, Romantic Village, cozy beds with private baths en-suite in 4 of the bedrooms and great space for the kids. What I loved most about the house besides the quality and the views ? I loved the "layout" of the house the most. The owners have placed a hidden TV in the master bedroom suite, otherwise the TV's are located in the game room on the main level. Which allows the adults to mix around the open concept living / family / dining area in front of the fireplace, while the children concentract on playing on the main level of the home. You can hear the children, and they are close by, but not - under - foot all the time. And frankly it's nice to have some adult time while knowing the children are nearby and safe. Perfect Vacaction - we completely forgot about the budget and had the best vacation ever as a large 14 person family with 8 children. Just ideal and yes we re-booked for 2012 already. CherylRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at JacksonEstate. Please come visit us again next year - we offer discounts up to 20% for returning guests. Best, Breanna

This house was INCREDIBLE! The views were stunning, and the layout of the house was something from a movie. The common areas are big enough to accomodate larger groups for family games and big dinners, with the kitchen being the one my wife now dreams about. The bedrooms were all very spacious and well-put together. The only thing that I'd change is for it to be a bit closer to the slopes (about a 20-30 min drive) and that it was a little hard to find in the dark. Other than that it was perfect! I'd definitely go again and highly recommend it to anybody. We had a fabulous time!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
