It's hard to image a more beautiful house in a more perfect setting. This Lindal Cedar home is perfectly placed on 10 acres near the village of Jackson. It's open, spacious and very high quality throughout. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by the caretaker who served us a glass of wine while she showed us around the home - allowing us a chance to get oriented. A crackling fire was in the fireplace with fresh flowers and small plates of cheeses and snacks. What a surprise .... a most welcome surprise after our drive. The rest of our stay was just as wonderful as the start. Superb layout for a large group of guests. An incredible kitchen which is open to the huge great room and dining area. You could fit 30 people in this space very comfortably. We were expecially surprised at how impeccable the kitchen was. Everything was shining and spotless all the way to the polished silverware and spotless wine glasses. The kitchen accessories and appliances are of the quantity an quality to rival a professional restaurant. Loved it! Owners plus caretaker (Janet) couldn't be more attentive. The house is very well cared for. Their expectations are high, and guests benefit from this level of excellence. If you can, try to visit this home and this area. We love This romantic village of Jackson New Hampshire, and all it has to offer. The owners like to recommend the Thompson House and we went "twice in one week." Exceptional food in an old barn like setting. 5 stars to JacksonEstate(.com) ..... And thank you to Janet

Came with 'The Posse' and had a wonderful time! The Jackson Estate was even more beautiful than the picures showed. Upon arrival we were treated to a chilled bottle of wine, cheese and fresh cut flowers. A very warm greeting... We were fortunate with great weather. The skies were blue and the mountain tops were covered in snow and crystal clear. The views were just incredible from almost everywhere in the house. Guys were able to go golfing and the girls were able to go shopping in Jackson & North Conway. We rented ATV's in Lincoln and had an amazing time cruising through the woods and rivers beds. There were 10 of us on the trip (5 couples) and the house never felt small. Dinner at the Thompson House Restaurant was excellent. We all had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it...

My husband reserved this house for a long weekend to celebrate my 40th Birthday and it couldn't have been a better surprise. We had the most amazing time with some of our best friends at this magical place. We didn't want to leave the house!! Instead of going out to eat we went food shopping and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The hot tub was perfect with just the slightest hint of snow lighting up the sky. The views first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee were priceless. We plan to rent this house again and perhaps enjoy a holiday with our entire family someday. As a lover of outlet shopping, I couldn't tear myself away from the house to indulge in one of my favorite activities. I would highly recommend this for anyone that wants to enjoy truly being in the mountains while enjoying luxurious accomodations!!!

This is a beautiful home with one of the best views in the mountains. The owner is beyond gracious and helpful. Best owner of all the homes we have stayed over the years. The home fits ten comfortably. Trust the pictures! You will not be disappointed. The town of Jackson is peaceful and quaint. It has a nice golf course and good food. The best is the Thompson House. Everything in the home is first class. Only caution is you do not have use of a washer and dryer during your stay. Plan accordingly. We highly recommend lease this house.
Owner response: Washer and Dryer are available / online once again as of June 27, 2011 Both washer / dryer have been replaced with new high tech, high capacity, stainless steel LG units. We enjoyed hosting the Kentucky family above and are pleased everyone enjoyed their visit to JacksonEstate. Breanna ( JacksonEstate.com )

A PERCECT VACATION ? Great accomodations, which meet / exceed the needs of the children and the adults ! The budget was "stretched" when we booked this beautiful Jackson Mountain home .... believe me it was stretched for all of us. But in the long run - it didn't matter one bit ! We spent fantastic days together in a comfortable yet suprisingly spacious home, we never felt crowded because of the home layout and the warm use of Cedar throughout. The home and our vacation were PERFECT ! The home sits on 10 acres of land, and is complete with grand Western Views of the Presidential Mountain Range. Sunsets are spectacular, as is the approaching weather systems from the West. The memories we shared with our family, including our grandchildren, was worth ever penny of the weekly rental rate. First off - the house is "immaculate" .... and I mean "spotless" .... the huge kitchen is superbly outfitted for a professional chef, and everything is orgaized perfectly. Location is perfect for privacy with great access to Jackson Village restaurants, golf, Wildcat River, ski areas ( which you look down upon from Tin Mine mountain ). The check-in was very professional by Corrine ( she's a former attorney, now property manager for Jackson Estate ) glasses of wine were poured for us ( a huge surprise ) and light appetizers provided ( a bonus ) as we walked around the house with all three fireplaces warmly welcoming us to this beautiful home. Superb Service, Grand Views, Quality Construction, Great Location, Romantic Village, cozy beds with private baths en-suite in 4 of the bedrooms and great space for the kids. What I loved most about the house besides the quality and the views ? I loved the "layout" of the house the most. The owners have placed a hidden TV in the master bedroom suite, otherwise the TV's are located in the game room on the main level. Which allows the adults to mix around the open concept living / family / dining area in front of the fireplace, while the children concentract on playing on the main level of the home. You can hear the children, and they are close by, but not - under - foot all the time. And frankly it's nice to have some adult time while knowing the children are nearby and safe. Perfect Vacaction - we completely forgot about the budget and had the best vacation ever as a large 14 person family with 8 children. Just ideal and yes we re-booked for 2012 already. Cheryl
Owner response: We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at JacksonEstate. Please come visit us again next year - we offer discounts up to 20% for returning guests. Best, Breanna

This house was INCREDIBLE! The views were stunning, and the layout of the house was something from a movie. The common areas are big enough to accomodate larger groups for family games and big dinners, with the kitchen being the one my wife now dreams about. The bedrooms were all very spacious and well-put together. The only thing that I'd change is for it to be a bit closer to the slopes (about a 20-30 min drive) and that it was a little hard to find in the dark. Other than that it was perfect! I'd definitely go again and highly recommend it to anybody. We had a fabulous time!

Beautiful, well-kept house in the mountains. Spectacular views and easy access to North Conway skiing, snow-shoeing, and shopping. Would recommend for long weekends in the winter months, but I'd love to see it in summer as well!

Jackson Estates is an amazing house with unbelievable views. The features and amenities in the house made for a very luxurious stay during a weekend skiing and snowboarding. The house was convenient to the local grocery store, activities (such as snow shoeing and snowmobiling), and all the major ski resorts in the area. We couldn't have asked for anything more from our stay.

Jackson Estate is absolutely gorgeous! We stayed with a few friends; all were speechless as we walked in the door and were confronted by the elegant White Mountains out the giant glass windows that adorn the back of the house. Such a great scene to wake up to. The house is well-furnished and spotless, with a European feel. The bedrooms and common areas are spacious and the kitchen is immaculate. The jacuzzi out back is a great touch.

My friends and I rented the house for Presidents' Day weekend this year and were blown away. Everything you need for the weekend is provided in this comfortable home. While some houses feel too sterile and not homey when renting, this truly feels like your own second home. The view is amazing and house overall is uber spacious and located centrally to all the area's attractions. We will definitely be coming back!

I have rented many vacation homes over the years, but this home was by far the best yet. It is a fantastic property, luxuriously designed, meticulously maintained and managed, perfectly situated to be home base for skiing the Mount Washington Valley area. The contract and instructions for occupancy were very clear and complete which I like, and which was very refreshing compared to some experiences I've had with other rentals....The owners are great people - friendly, welcoming, and available if questions came up. I was unable to use the house for a few days of the rental period, and they kindly and generously offered to make up the days later on in the spring. The house and the experience was high-end quality in all respects.

We just spent the week between Christmas and New Year's at Jackson Estate in Jackson, New Hampshire. Our group consisted of two families including a bunch of children ranging in age from 4 to 13. The bottom line is this, we could not have been happier with this property. From the friendly emails and phone calls leading up to our vacation week and the nice initial walk through of the house, Scott and Breanna could not have acted as more gracious hosts. This was our first visit to the area and we were looking for an upscale property close to the surrounding mountains and restaurants, set in a traditional New England locale. Either by luck or good research, we found it. A few words about the property: unbelievable views of the surrounding mountains, particularly from the main living room. All amneties were high end yet the home had a very comfortable feel. I would recommend visiting the web site as it accurately depicts the property. The kids particularly enjoyed the first floor game room / TV whereas the adults spent much of the time in the immaculate kitchen or in front of the fire. We enjoyed the town of Jackson, particularly the skatinig and bonfires at Nestlenook Farms, five minutes away. Both Black Mountain and Cranmore had everything we expected. Once again, I would highly recommend this property for those looking for a wonderful ski vacation at a first class home.

Beautiful home with a "to die for" view. We were there in November, just past the leaf season, and even then spent hours staring out at the mountains. So peaceful. If you're looking for the secluded feel of a mansion in the mountains this is it. They have trimmed the trees nicely to provide a wide angle view. The home itself was immaculate and very true to the pictures we had seen on-line. Fully functioning kitchen. The hot tub room out on the deck is great. Even nice having pool and foosball in the game room. Everything was clean and organized, and the owner checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The local town is quaint with a few nice shops and restaurants but don't expect too much here. Best to buy groceries and eat in most nights. Plenty of trails outdoor activities. One thing we loved - there's a local masseuse who will come to the house! Nothing better than that. Overall a great time and a wonderful facility.

We spent several nights in this beautiful home surrounded by the White Mountains. Our goal was to have a roomy yet cozy, home away from home to share with our teenage sons. We had so much fun playing foos ball and pool in the downstairs game room while the fireplace was lit. I cooked a family dinner in the home's deluxe kitchen and we all sat down together at the ample dining room table and striking sunset. We didn't have time to visit the quaint neighboring village of Jackson, but we did go for a good 2 or so hour hike about 20 minutes away from the house by car. .Thank you so much Scott for allowing us this perfect experience.

If you think the photos are impressive wait until you see the property in real life! It’s the most romantic home I have ever stayed in – perfectly maintained and filled with cutting edge appliances. The owner is a kind, hospitable gentleman who makes a huge effort to ensure you feel as though you are a home. There were twelve people in our group and we held a intimate wedding ceremony in the Jackson Estate. The two families were from difficult countries and cultures, but the house serenity facilitated the union between the two families. The house is spacious and comfortable and even with twelve adults there is still ample room to have some quiet time alone. During the day we hiked in the mountains, swam in the river, fished, and kayaked. In the evening we came back to the Jackson Estate and soaked in the hot tub gazing at the mountains. We had BBQs and watched the bright stars above or we cooked intricate dinners in the fully equipped kitchen. Finally we relaxed in front of the massive TV, played pool and table football. We found the house to be great value, there are no hidden charges or catches – a once in a life time holiday. This is highly recommended!
