Our first vacation to Destin could not have been better. We had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing family vacation. The house was beautiful and well cared for. It had everything we needed and was conveniently located near all of the things we wanted to enjoy. The resort was just as beautiful and inviting. The neighbors were friendly. I hope this will be the first of many return visits.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo/patioo home in Sandestin. It was a fabulous week! We loved the location - easy to get in and out. The house is beautiful as is the property. Thank you for the wine. It was delicious. We hope to visit again the the future. (entered from a thank you note)

What an awesome Villa! We had a fabulous short week! We would highly recommend to all who want a super location and safe, secure place to stay! Wonderful!

Wonderful Place to Stay with Kids

We have visited the Sandestin area on many occasions, and this was by far and away the most cozy place we have stayed. The setup of 727 Sandpiper was great for kids (we have three of them under the age of 5) and for our four legged friend. Either everything in the condo was brand new (stove, dishwasher, furniture, etc...) or it is REALLY well maintained. We found the location of the condo to be fantastic for our kids to be able to play in the front yard without having to worry about cars and other distractions. We would HIGHLY recommend 727 Sandpiper for any family traveling with kids.

Quiet Oasis

We stayed from July 7 - July 14 of 2012 and loved it. You can really tell that it is well maintained. The house itself is located in a quiet gated community. The private beach which guests have access to is beautiful! The water was crystal clear and rivaled those of the Caribbean. No need to go far searching for a nice beach. It's just across the highway! JL was more than helpful. The beach umbrella that was provided was broken and when I brought it to her attention we were provided with a new one immediately. The only thing I'd point out is you are only provided with two trash bags to start with and if you need more you have to furnish your own. Same goes for dish washing detergent, toilet paper, and clothing detergent. We really loved this house and would most definitely recommend others to stay here.

Owner response: Thanks for the great review. Sorry you were confused about the paper products. Unlike a hotel, in a home rental we leave a starter supply of things like toilet paper, a trash bag, hand soap, papertowels, etc. Enough until you can get settled and then go to the store to get what you will need for your family. We let everyone know that in advance in the Rental Agreement and Confirmation but sometimes that information gets lost in the excitement of the trip.

The shower tracks on the one tub made it difficult for our 4yearold to get in/out of tub. There are warnings about the use of ceiling fan in the bunkbed room. Unfortunately 4yearolds cannot read. Otherwise the home was well stocked and extremely comfortable.

We stayed at this house last year and loved it so much, we made sure to book it well in advance for our return this year. It has a great layout, lots of natural light, and is very convenient if you have kids. We will definitely book again for our trip next year!

My family and another family (8 total) stayed at this propertly for a week....it was fabulous! We had the best time ever and could not have been any happier with the location, the house, the amenities...the whole package. The home was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, immaculately clean and stocked with all of the things we needed (dishes, linens, beach gear, etc.). Thank you so much for sharing your property with us. We'll definately be staying here again when we get to come back to Destin!!

Our family stayed at Gulf and Greens over Memorial Day holiday and the week after. We had stayed in the village and beach in the past and were concerned we would be missing out staying in a house, rather than a condo - but we crave space so gave it a chance. Boy were we happy with our decision!! The house was centrally located so that a short bike ride to the village, beach, pool, etc was always on the agenda, however not the only choice. What we liked best was waking up in the morning to quiet time on the back porch, often chipping some balls to the green with my 6 year old, a breakfast at "home", followed by activities, and then back for cocktail hour watching golfers and a home cooked meal. all the money we saved eating in, we either spend on lunches on the beack or activites for the kids. The extras were very nice - wifi was super fast, bikes included a lock, washer and dryer were bigger than expected, etc. The only thing we did not use much were beach chairs and umbrella - pain to lug down to shore and umbrella wanted to blow away all the time.... We would certainly come back here again, or another house in the same area. The three rooms were more than we needed, however the HUGE kitchen overlooking table and family room were a fantastic benefit to the larger place. While space and amentites were great - the best part was the lack of noise from beach and village that is common on holiday weeks. We were able to relax when we wanted to and then visit the crowds when we wanted. Thanks so much for having us, we look forward to our return trip. DMED - Atlanta, GA

Great time away with family

This place was great! The layout of the house was great for my family. The kitchen was a great size for preparing food. The grill worked well also. Having the washer and dryer available made it easy to keep up with laundry. The water hose made it easy to rinse off each day after the beach. The beach was magnificent although a bit of trek through the soft sand. Hauling things wasn't easy so we invested in a beach cart from walmart which made it a bit easier. There was no place to rinse off after trudging back through the sand on our way to the car but the private beach access was well worth it. The swimming pools were okay but not great. Fireworks on the beach for the 4th of July were amazing. The only things I'd change about the house are getting the televisions set up so you don't have to type in the channel number (instead of just clicking up or down)...not that big of a deal since we only watched television at night and the fitted sheet wouldn't stay on the king bed (we aren't big people either). Other than that it was perfect. Every thing was clean and ready to go when we got there. Would definitely stay again.

Our family had a wonderful time in Sandestin. The cottage was nestled in a very peaceful neighborhood. We really enjoyed our morning walks and eating breakfast at Another Broken Egg. The onsite manager, J.L. was very friendly and quick to answer any questions or concerns we had. The owner's private beach was awesome! We had a very positive experience...from the moment we arrived until the time of departure. We would recommend to any family who is in need of a great family vacation.

Once again we had a great time at Sandestin. We haven’t even unpacked our bags yet and we have already requested another month next year. This is a clean, well equipped and beautiful villa with a really nice open floor plan. We loved the bright colors, many windows and the view of the golf course. We would especially like to thank J.L. for all that she does. This is our 2nd year renting a Villa managed by J.L. and she has been great to work with. She goes out of her way to make sure your stay is comfortable, enjoyable and trouble free.

This is the third year in a row that we have had the pleasure of staying in the Greens "N" Gulf golf villa. Our daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons absolutely love staying there. It had everything one needs to have a great vacation in the Destin area. Three years ago it was newly renovated and this year it looks just as good. The layout of the house it just great for my family. The bikes provide a great way to get your exercise and spend time with the family. It also is right on the 17th fairway of the Links golf course which allows me and the boys a chance to practice our chipping and putting. I highly recommend this villa to anyone want a great place to enjoy the Sandestin and Destin area.

I love this house! I had friends that had stayed at this property a few years ago and thought it was so cute then. I was so pleased that we were able to rent it. The open living area, kitchen and dining room make it a great space to entertain and relax with the family while the 3 bedrooms provide quiet and privacy as needed. The patio and sunroom area are a nice bonus. We will definitely be booking this house again for our vacation next year!

We stayed at Greens N Gulf for 8 nights in June. We really liked the house. There were so many extras and staple items there. Very clean, nice furniture. It was very updated and spacious. Great layout. We enjoyed riding the new bikes provided. Several pools were available and there is so much to do at the Village at Baytowne Wharf. This home had access to a private beach which was nice and relaxing. The water and the weather were great. Would love to live in a house like this when we retire. Nice area. We love Sandestin. JL was great during the booking and our stay. She is friendly and efficient. We will recommend this house to our friends and plan to stay there again.
