The Hillside House - A Beautiful, 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Home.
When you want it all, and your plans call for at least a 2 night minimum stay, step up to The Hillside House, a full size house that is sure to please! The Hillside is our newest and largest addition to Mountain Aire Cottages, in Clayton, Georgia. This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath split-plan home is loaded with all the modern amenities you appreciate, while still maintaining its unique mountain feel.
Start with the solid hickory plank floors that grab your eye and flow throughout the house. Match that with the combination log, and tongue and groove wood walls and you’ll say, Wow! The Great Room has full Kitchen with Island Counter, a Dining area, and Living/Entertainment area with Queen size pull-out couch. The Master Bedroom has an original stone fireplace with a gorgeous remote control fire logs set, and a beautiful King size carved "Pine Cone" black bed. In the Master Bath, you will find a luxurious Champagne Bubbler 'Bain Ultra' corner tub for 2, surrounded by mirrored walls and with a romantic dimming chandelier! The 5 ft tall ceramic tile wainscoted wall really accents the rest of the area. A separate shower, vanity & commode make it complete.
The bedrooms on the other side of the house have been decorated to their own camping and western themes. The Camp Room has a beautiful Queen Size bed with ornate 'S' mouldings, while the Western Room has 2 twin beds for flexible sleeping needs. The 2nd Bathroom is a full bath with tub/shower and 5 ft wainscoted ceramic tile walls. There is a separate Laundry Room with Washer/Dryer and laundry tub. Of course, there is Central Heat & Air Conditioning, ceiling fans in all the rooms, large Cable TV with DVD & VHS player, hard wired broadband high speed internet access, all dishes, silverware, pots & pans, linens, initial cleaning supplies, etc.
Outside, you will find a delightful new front deck with view through the dogwoods to Pinnacle Mountain, and gas grill. The grounds are covered in Azalea’s, Dogwood Trees, a large White Oak, vibrant dark blue Hydrangea, Rhododendrons, and so much more! There is parking for up to 5 cars, and only 5 steps to enter the house. Carefully crafted and maintained to your high standards, The Hillside House is for the discriminating guest who wants a quality home to relax in or to entertain their friends. If you are looking for quiet seclusion yet in a central location, you will want to choose The Hillside House for your next stay!

Hello! I love meeting new people, and owning and operating Mountain Aire Cottages fits me perfectly! I am the Owner/Innkeeper, the construction guy (I did all the renovations myself), the bookkeeper, the reservations guy, the lawn guy, and the maid!! Yes, it's a ton of work, but I love what I do, and all my guests say it shows through from the amenities to the cleanliness; from the initial reservation to the sad goodbyes. Come see an authentic small town motel and vacation cottages from a bygone era, but with all the modern amenities like jacuzzi's, fireplaces, wireless internet, beautiful landscaping and views, and a peaceful setting!!!
