Our cabin was built by our parents in the early 1960s and has been maintained as our family get away ever since. Located in a forested area overlooking Kings Beach (between Kings Beach and Brockway) on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, this charming, three story, A-Frame home feels like a true, old Tahoe cabin.
From our front door, it takes just ten minutes to walk to the small town of Kings Beach or to the North Shore Nevada casinos. There is plenty of cross-country skiing in the vicinity and we are close to Northstar, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Diamond Peak, Mount Rose, and Sugar Bowl downhill ski areas. The Nevada casinos on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe include the Tahoe Biltmore, Cal-Neva Resort Spa and Casino, Crystal Bay Club, and Jim Kelly's Tahoe Nugget.
If you are visiting during the late Spring, Summer, or early Fall, Kings Beach has a lovely public beach and park with boating and swimming available. The picturesque Speedboat Beach is just a 15 minute walk from the house and Sand Harbor State Beach on the Nevada side with its annual Shakespeare festival is about 15-20 minutes by car. There are many hiking and mountain biking trails in the area of the cabin itself, as well as in the Crystal Bay area. The town of Kings Beach hosts a great art show throughout the Summer, and, for the young and young at heart, the classic, fifty-year-old miniature golf course is near the movie theater in town. There are some interesting stores and restaurants right in Kings Beach and in the neighboring North Shore communities. For preparing meals at the cabin, there is a large Safeway supermarket just beyond the Kings Beach Brockway Golf Course.
NEW THIS YEAR, A SKI LEASE IS NOW AVAILABLE---$2500 per month. Available for 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 month leases. Includes cleaning and linen change twice per month and snow plow fees. Does not include utilities. $2500 security deposit required. We still have availability during March and April for leases. Inquire with the owner for more details.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Two Night Minimum.
$150 per night off-season, $200 per night high-season
$200 Non-Refundable Cleaning/Linen Fee.
$200 Refundable Damage Deposit.
10% Placer County Bed Tax on Total Paid
Ski leases--$2500 per month, available in 1-5 month increments.
Ski leases include two cleanings/linen change per month.
Ski leases do not include utilities.

Owner Description
My sisters and I still own the cabin that our parents lovingly built by themselves in the early 1960s. I manage it and rent it for the three of us so that we can meet some of our expenses and keep it in our family. We hope that you will enjoy it as much as we have.
