This beautiful, private, three bedroom home is on the 11th fairway of the newly renovated, exciting Heron Point Golf Course. (It is also extremely close to the tennis courts.)This home has every comfort and upscale amenity you could possibly want for a fabulous, unforgettable vacation!
It has been totally renovated with an ultra modern, unbelievable kitchen, with granite countertops, new cabinets and stainless steel appliances! The whole house was freshly painted and carpeted, with new furniture throughout!
Plus, it's all on one floor and no steps to climb! Two master bedrooms, each with fabulous king-size beds. The third bedroom has two wonderful full sized beds. And there is also a sleeper sofa in the living room if you need it!
This home is literally steps from Harbortown, and the famous Hilton Head Lighthouse. (If you are familiar with Stoney Creek, we are at the beginning of the street.) No need to bother with parking in Harbortown or the Shuttle buses... you can walk (or take one of the bikes we provide for free!)... great dining with many choices, all kinds of neat shopping for mom, crabbing for the kids off the dock, charter boats, jet skis, all the harbor fun you want, plus tennis, golf and a spa... ALL WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE!! There's also Greg Russell singing under the famous Liberty Oak tree! And how about the super playground? Not to mention the nightlife in Harbortown!! No need to call a cab...walk home!
How far is the beach you might ask? Just over a mile away (certainly bike-able, and we provide free bikes), but the Sea Pines Beach Club has parking, clean restrooms, showers, and outdoor bar and grill, live entertainment and a store to buy suntan lotion, souvenirs and such!

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We looked at probably 50 houses in Sea Pines and this location offered so much, right on a golf course (which I've always wanted), walking distance to Harbour Town, nice private street. And the house itself and the furnishings were clearly head and shoulders above the other houses that we looked at. Plus the pool is great!
The Unique Benefits at this House
We love to ride our bikes all around Sea Pines, play golf on Ocean, Heron Point, and (on special occasions) Harbour Town Golf Links. We love going up to Harbour Town for dinner, or maybe just an Ice Cream at Cinnamon Bear. We love reading by the pool, watching movies at night, walking to the bakery in the morning for coffee and sometimes their delicious breakfast.

Nancy and I have been coming to Hilton Head with our two sons (Sean and Ryan) since 1998, and this is the second home we have owned. To us, Hilton Head, and specifically Sea Pines, is the greatest place on earth. The people are so nice, and the golf is fantastic. Everything is so relaxed and the bike riding is just so great. We're from Scituate MA, which is a coastal town 20 miles south of Boston, and we get to HHI as often as we can, but we're kind of constricted by the fact that our kids are in school....

All four of us had a wonderful stay at the house. It is only two Par 5s from Harbor Town. We walked to dinner at the Quarter Deck and CQs (twice). Two of us took bikes to Sea Pines Beach Club (straight down Lighthouse). It was an easy ride. In fact, we beat the car back to the house! One night we grilled lobster by the pool. Grill worked perfectly. Every morning we cooked breakfast. Everything we needed was right there. Thanks Steve for sharing your home.

The house was just as we expected from the pictures on the listing. It was well maintained and very clean. We had everything we needed. There was one concern when we arrived and Steve took care of it immediately. The location is great - walking distance to Harbour Town and the Sea Pines Shops. We had 3 little ones so we opted to drive to the beach but without the kids it would have been an easy bike ride. I would recommend this property. Steve was even nice enough to mail back something that we had left behind. We would say here again and recommend it to friends and relatives.

Stayed at this house week of Aug 27 til Sept 3 2011. The house is very nice, the couple of issues we had were addressed immediately and we much prefer staying in a house now versus a condo. This experience has convinced us this is the way to go in the future. House is very comfortable and loved the golf course view. The pool was nice, however, we were so busy doing other things, did not use it that much.

We stayed at this home during the first week of August 2011. The house is a short walk from Harbour Town, and a very quick drive (or a bike ride) to the Sea Pines Beach Club or the South Beach area. The house is beautifully decorated throughout, sparkling clean, and the kitchen has absolutely everything a family could need. There are bikes to use, and the pool is just great for the kids. The golf course setting serves as another source of entertainment for the kids, i.e., finding stray golf balls. The owners are great to deal with. This is a house we hope to use again next summer without hesitation.

Our 2nd vacation to your home was as rewarding and relaxing as our 1st stay. The location, house and pool all combine to make a great place for a family to enjoy and our family hopes to return in the future. The weather was very mild for July and we lucked out this time with temps in the 80's. The gas grill came in handy as we grilled some steaks and lobster which our oldest son loved. Even though we didn't get to go fishing, we did take in the awesome sunsets over Harbour Town and enjoyed the Preserve area. Thanks for the memories and bringing our family closer together. John L

We really enjoyed our stay in this great Hilton Head home (6/18/11 - 6/24/11). It's in a perfect location within Sea Pines -- close to the golf courses, tennis courts and Harbour Town. The central air and the pool were a welcome relief after a round of golf or a day at the beach. It was also entertaining to watch other golfers struggle on Heron Point's 11th hole from the comfort of our backyard. The home has all the amenities (including WiFi that kept the kids connected) and a fun surprise was the availability of bikes that we used to make our way on the great bike paths that run throughout the resort. There are also many great restaurants nearby -- we especially liked Wild Wing Cafe, One Hot Mama's and the Salty Dog Cafe. Steve was very responsive to our questions. We highly recommend this beautiful home for anyone looking to visit Hilton Head.

Just returned from HHI. We were there for my niece's wedding and spent a week in this great home. The description given was accurate and the home was clean and comfortable( especially the beds). The pool was a godsend since the temps were well into the 90's. No question we would rent this home again and would recommend it to anyone.

Our stay was wonderful! The house was accurately described in the listing and was perfect for us! It was clean & well maintained. The owners answered all our questions and made the reservation very easy to do. We want to go back! We shopped & had cocktails in Harbor Town and ate dinner one night @ The Salty Dog. Lots of fun!

I'm almost reluctant to share my amazing experience for fear that it might preclude from staying in this wonderful house again! Steve and Nancy's house is perfectly situated near Harbor Town (2 minute walk) and the beach (2 minute drive). Their house is beautiful, comfortable and relaxing. Furthermore, Steve and Nancy made us feel very much at home. Steve checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. This was unnecessary since we had more than I expected at our disposal. The full kitchen and gas grill are tremendous amenities. The view from the pool is wonderful. The three bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our group. The living room is comfortable and open, providing plenty of room for our group to relax and hang out. I can't say enough nice things about this house and the owners, Steve and Nancy. If you pass up this property, you're crazy. I can't wait to stay here again.
