What a beautiful home! We visited with our kids (18, 23 and 25) with their grandparents post law school graduation and enjoyed every minute! The pool and hot tub were the center of activity and provided many hours of conversation and fun! The only issue we had was actually finding the ocean so we could enjoy sitting on the beach! Found the Beach Club but it was a bit crowded. Would definitely stay at this home again! Working with the owners was a pleasure!

This is a great family vacation home. Went with 2 kids and wife and grandmom. We had a great time, could walk or bike to everything. Tennis is close, so is golf. The pool is nice for the kids and if you have real young ones, the lock for the door to the pool is high so they can't reach. The follow up and attention to detail from Steven was amazing and big reason to choose this property. He was completely accommodating and friendly. Thanks for a great stay. Living all the way across the country, I'm not sure when we'll be back, but we'll certainly check availability for this house!

What an incredible vacation. Our first time to this part of the country and it was worth the trip. The pictures, all of the descriptions of what to do etc was accurate. The home was impeccable and we felt like we were home during our stay. Someone earlier had mentioned that you just enjoyed being at the house and that was so true. We walked to Harbor Town several nights and enjoy the music the scenery and the food. On the way home, we said we would certainly come back for another vacation on Hilton Head Island. Perfect Location. Thanks for your hospitality!

All four of us had a wonderful stay at the house. It is only two Par 5s from Harbor Town. We walked to dinner at the Quarter Deck and CQs (twice). Two of us took bikes to Sea Pines Beach Club (straight down Lighthouse). It was an easy ride. In fact, we beat the car back to the house! One night we grilled lobster by the pool. Grill worked perfectly. Every morning we cooked breakfast. Everything we needed was right there. Thanks Steve for sharing your home.

The house was just as we expected from the pictures on the listing. It was well maintained and very clean. We had everything we needed. There was one concern when we arrived and Steve took care of it immediately. The location is great - walking distance to Harbour Town and the Sea Pines Shops. We had 3 little ones so we opted to drive to the beach but without the kids it would have been an easy bike ride. I would recommend this property. Steve was even nice enough to mail back something that we had left behind. We would say here again and recommend it to friends and relatives.

Stayed at this house week of Aug 27 til Sept 3 2011. The house is very nice, the couple of issues we had were addressed immediately and we much prefer staying in a house now versus a condo. This experience has convinced us this is the way to go in the future. House is very comfortable and loved the golf course view. The pool was nice, however, we were so busy doing other things, did not use it that much.

We stayed at this home during the first week of August 2011. The house is a short walk from Harbour Town, and a very quick drive (or a bike ride) to the Sea Pines Beach Club or the South Beach area. The house is beautifully decorated throughout, sparkling clean, and the kitchen has absolutely everything a family could need. There are bikes to use, and the pool is just great for the kids. The golf course setting serves as another source of entertainment for the kids, i.e., finding stray golf balls. The owners are great to deal with. This is a house we hope to use again next summer without hesitation.

Our 2nd vacation to your home was as rewarding and relaxing as our 1st stay. The location, house and pool all combine to make a great place for a family to enjoy and our family hopes to return in the future. The weather was very mild for July and we lucked out this time with temps in the 80's. The gas grill came in handy as we grilled some steaks and lobster which our oldest son loved. Even though we didn't get to go fishing, we did take in the awesome sunsets over Harbour Town and enjoyed the Preserve area. Thanks for the memories and bringing our family closer together. John L

We really enjoyed our stay in this great Hilton Head home (6/18/11 - 6/24/11). It's in a perfect location within Sea Pines -- close to the golf courses, tennis courts and Harbour Town. The central air and the pool were a welcome relief after a round of golf or a day at the beach. It was also entertaining to watch other golfers struggle on Heron Point's 11th hole from the comfort of our backyard. The home has all the amenities (including WiFi that kept the kids connected) and a fun surprise was the availability of bikes that we used to make our way on the great bike paths that run throughout the resort. There are also many great restaurants nearby -- we especially liked Wild Wing Cafe, One Hot Mama's and the Salty Dog Cafe. Steve was very responsive to our questions. We highly recommend this beautiful home for anyone looking to visit Hilton Head.

Just returned from HHI. We were there for my niece's wedding and spent a week in this great home. The description given was accurate and the home was clean and comfortable( especially the beds). The pool was a godsend since the temps were well into the 90's. No question we would rent this home again and would recommend it to anyone.

I'm almost reluctant to share my amazing experience for fear that it might preclude from staying in this wonderful house again! Steve and Nancy's house is perfectly situated near Harbor Town (2 minute walk) and the beach (2 minute drive). Their house is beautiful, comfortable and relaxing. Furthermore, Steve and Nancy made us feel very much at home. Steve checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. This was unnecessary since we had more than I expected at our disposal. The full kitchen and gas grill are tremendous amenities. The view from the pool is wonderful. The three bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our group. The living room is comfortable and open, providing plenty of room for our group to relax and hang out. I can't say enough nice things about this house and the owners, Steve and Nancy. If you pass up this property, you're crazy. I can't wait to stay here again.

My family of four plus my mom & sister are at the end of our stay at 22 Stoney Creek. Steve and Nancy have been really great and respond to questions immediately. The house is lovely, it has all the amenities of home. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms plus the outside shower were absolutely perfect. The master bed is so comfortable, we slept like rocks the entire stay! The kids loved the pool and all the pool toys. The adults liked the large hot tub out front along with the table and chairs to sit out, drink our beverages & enjoy the stars. We also used the bikes that the Donovans provided, it seems that everyone rides bikes at Sea Pines. The location is perfect, it is so close to harbourtown that we walked every time we visited the bakery, playground or lighthouse. We also walked by an alligator in the pond at the end of the street..our 6 year old was very impressed. We would definitely stay here again!!

This beautiful house is located at the heart of Harbour Towne with a great view of par 5 golf hole. The house has been beautifully updated and decorated so it feels like "home". The kitchen has granite and stainless, each bedroom has a full bath, and the house also has a large pool and large hot tub. There is also a nice grill for cooking out. We will be going back to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay in Sea Pines over Memorial weekend. We have stayed in a few different houses in Sea Pines, and would gladly stay at Stoney Creek again. The location is wonderful for families with small children. You can walk to the park, walk to a Greg Russell concert, walk for coffee and bike around Sea Pines. The pool is a great asset as young children don't often want to swim in the ocean or parents want to lug the all the gear and the kitchen sink to a neighborhood pool. The Donovans were always quick to respond via email or phone. I have dealt with other vrbo folks before, and I wish all were as courteous and helpful as Steve. Our only complaint is that our trip wasn't long enough. We look forward to our next trip!

Entered by Steve on behalf of guest: Steve and Nancy, Thank you so much for renting your house to us. We had a great time and your beautiful home was perfect! The girls swam in the pool and we all enjoyed the hot tub. It was pretty quiet on HHI and a little windy and chilly, but we still had a great time. Tim and the girls played doubles tennis, and I was the ball girl and line judge. Unfortunately, we didn't get to golf. We are planning to rent again with some friends and spend a little more time so we can enjoy the beach and golf! I just have to figure out when we can get away again. Anytime you need to fill in a partial week or long weekend, let us know - it is a short 3-1/2 hr drive for us. Thank you again, Ginger

The house at Stoney Creek was exactly as described only better. We were there with our blended family—our two adult daughters and their husbands and 3 small children. The three bedroom, three bath arrangement was perfect, and the furniture was lovely but sturdy and child-friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool. We biked to the beach. Because the ambiance was so nice, we ate in more than we had planned—going out with three kids under 4 is not always easy. Harbourtown and Greg Russell never seem to lose the mystique, and it was nice to be able to walk there. We have been to Hilton Head many times, but this vacation was the best.

Have rented on HHI every year since 1984. (Should have bought, da!) This years 2 week rental at Stoney Creek was the best. The location was perfect to Harbor Town and a short bike ride to the beach club or South Beach. The house was luxuriously furnished, compact yet spacious. Best of all was the backyard pool. Even on the hottest July days, the umbrella of moss draped oaks kept the pool area cool and comfortable. Will most certainly return with my family again.

We had a great time in your Stoney Creek house. The bikes worked great and it was so nice to just walk out back and jump in the pool. The private bath for each of the 3 bedrooms was really nice and a real time saver when we were cleaning up to go somewhere. The close proximity to Harbour Town (an easy walk) and the short drive to the Beach Club to a wonderful beach definitely made yours a perfect location. We even found a croc in the lagoon just around the corner to keep tabs on every day or so. Everything was wonderful! We had a great time!
