This plantation-style, two story view home is located in the Princeville Resort Community on the North Shore of Kauai. This home was just recently refurnished with all new bedding and furniture. The lower level floors are slate, the staircase to the upper level is Koa hardwood and the upstairs floors are "Pergo-style" light maple. It is located on a quiet, private cul-de-sac on a residential street.
This home is incredibly landscaped and has a "plantation-style" feel. It was designed with living space and Lanai areas facing the majestic Hanalei mountain range, beautiful waterfalls and "Bali Hai" (Mount Makana) views. The Hanalei Bay water view can be seen from the upstairs living area, kitchen, upstairs master, and Lanai. The first bedroom on the ground level has a wicker-style daybed with a pull out trundle to accommodate two twin beds or it can be combined to make one King-Size bed. It is furnished with new bed linens. It also has beautiful beveled glass French doors and bay windows with window seats. There is a TV/VCR mounted on the wall.
The second downstairs bedroom is the master complete with a King-size platform bed with a comfy "pillow-top" mattress, ceiling fans, TV and DVD player, as well as a remodeled private attached bath with shower.
The upstairs bedroom has a Bali Hai view with a comfy California King-size bed, ceiling fan, LCD Flatscreen TV, and a walk-out lanai. This bedroom has magnificent views and is preferred by the owners as their private bedroom. The morning view is "Bali Hai" from the Bed!
The upstairs front bedroom has a Queen-size bed with views of the Hanalei mountain range. The downstairs bath is a "Zen-Style" bath with Japanese-Style soaking whirlpool tub. The downstairs master bath has new marble floors, shower, and new cabinets. The upstairs bath has a "plantation" feel, white wainscoting wood walls and tub/shower with glass enclosure. The kitchen has white wood cabinets, white tile counters, newer stainless steel refrigerator, and electric cook-top oven. There is an ice-maker with ice ans water in door. There is a blender, electric juicer, coffeemaker, toaster, toaster oven, dishwasher, and all the cooking utensils, bowls, rice cooker, coffee bean grinder, and all the pots and pans you will need. There are plenty of dishes, glasses, and silverware. The kitchen has views of water, mountains, and the backyard and a ceiling fan. The upstairs living room has a 26 inch flat panel wide-screen LCD TV with full cable hookups and a DVD player. There is a stereo and cd player for music. The furniture is very comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. The dining room table seats eight comfortably. There is a ceiling fan in living room. The downstairs family room has an Italian leather sectional sofa, large area shag rug, a built-in entertainment center with a 60 inch TV with full 76 channel cable hook ups, stereo surround sound system, DVD player, VCR, and "TIVO-style" DVR. There is a computer with wireless internet, printer/fax/scanner machine. The entertainment center is filled with books, kid’s books, VHS tapes, and magazines for your enjoyment. Upstairs off the living room and dining area is a large lanai (15 feet by 30 feet). The views are really spectacular. You can see the waterfalls from the mountain range, as well as "Bali Hai" mountain views and the water of Hanalei Bay. There is new wicker furniture, mosaic bar table with four tall seat bar stools and chairs. The deck comfortably seats eight outside to enjoy the sunsets, views, and a propane style barbecue. The Lanai looks over into the backyard as well. Downstairs is a stone patio off the family room. It has a teak table w/four chairs, a small iron bistro table with two chairs and beautiful landscaping. A two-car attached garage enters to the house by way of a private laundry room.
