This studio condo has a beautiful view of Molokai and partial ocean view which is great for a romantic couple or for a small family getaway. There is central air-conditioning, a full open kitchen, new range and new microwave, new 32" flat screen TV, VCR, DVD, and both a king-size bed and queen sofa bed, with a balcony lanai to enjoy sunset views.
When you arrive at the Kaanapali Shores open air lobby with exotic island decor and waterfall, you will know you have reached your dream destination! As you stroll past the waterfall there is a quiet garden pool with jacuzzi. After passing garden flowers and palm trees, there is the convenient Beach Club restaurant overlooking the adjacent beachside pool and ocean beachfront.
The resort has full hotel amenities which include: newly updated fitness center, cardio with TV monitors, coffee bar, beauty salon, outdoor massage, floral shop, gift shop, mini beverage-snack shop, a video arcade, concierge service to set up island adventures (every Monday morning includes short informative overview on local activities and dining), and a children activity center. In addition, there is a complete shopping center across the street with a supermarket, coffee shop, gift shops and more. Two blocks north is a farmer's market. The Whaler's Village shops and restaurants is only 2 miles away and the town of Lahaina with shops and restaurants, theater, and island adventure activities is only 4 miles away, within a 5 to 10 minute drive.

Our visit to Maui was great! We loved the condo and the grounds of the hotel. The beach was perfect and having to only walk two minutes to get to it was even better. The room was well equipped with everything we needed and the bed was adequately comfortable! I can't wait to come back to Maui and hopefully stay in the condo again! Thanks again for everything and answering all my questions so quickly.

We had a fabulous time on Maui and your condo was more than we expected. We really enjoyed waking up each morning to a fabulous view of Molokai and the ocean. I think you could certainly talk up that view a little more on your description. We loved it! Your condo had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make meals and it even had plastic wear we could take down to the pool and beach. The resort itself was beautiful. We had been there once before, but we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as this time. The restaurant and bar was a great convenience and was top notch on service and friendliness. They had plenty of beach chairs all around the property, so you were never left without a means of lounging. All around, we had a great time on our vacation and a lot of it had to do with your condo and the resort. If we ever make it back to Maui, we will certainly look you up. I appreciate all of your hospitality and allowing us to enjoy your condo. You have a keeper! Thanks so much!

We had a great time in Maui, staying for part of the time at this Kaanapali Shores Studio. The view from the lanai is exactly as shown, northwest, with a direct view of the sunset, and a slight view of the ocean over the roof of the neighboring red-roofed buildings. The lanai made for a great place to watch the sunsets or just to watch the beautiful post-sunset sky. Being on the side of the building with a parking lot below, it had a very private view, although there was occasional daytime noise from the maintenance crews but it was very minor. Kaanapali Shores has a real resort feel, with beautiful grounds (pools, lawn, tiki torches, ponds with koi, a great restaurant with ocean view, and of course beach (although somewhat rocky, so not the best beach in the area for swimming). The building has free (unsecured) wi-fi with excellent speed. There are tennis courts with rackets and balls available to check out from the front desk, although the balls we used were flat so I'd recommend buying a can. The studio was great though, and a perfect way to enjoy this part of Maui, and well worth the summer discounted rate. The room was clean and exactly as described. The owner was very friendly in correspondences and quick to respond to questions. :) We had a great stay!

It was really pleasant - the accommodations were what we needed, view was relaxing overall we spent very little time indoors, slept great (mattress was comfortable) and the dark curtains were such a help, along with the fan! (we never even used the a.c.) Nice having the kitchen for the morning coffee & lots of fruit before we started each active day! Really enjoyed the Maui Ocean Center and all of the snorkeling at the wonderful beaches! Good food too! Thanks for checking on us.
