I am a real estate agent on South Padre Island and for surrounding areas. I've lived here for 6 years coming from the island of Roatan just off the north coast of Honduras and before that California (born and raised).

Owning a condo on South Padre Island is just like owning one in the Caribbean, only with benefits! My condo has one of the best views of all the condos that are not right directly on the sand. It's a corner unit so very quiet and private.

Gorgeous views, wonderful tradewind breezes, in the summer you can watch the kids playing at Schlitterbahn Water Park, the complex has 2 jacuzzis, one for kids, one for adults and one of the largest pools on the island - not fancy, but big! And it's one of the least expensive condos to rent.
