Ocean View home on the bluffs of Albion West of Hwy 1. Gorgeous ocean views abound from the spacious living room with vaulted ceilings and wood burning fireplace, gourmet kitchen and ample deck with hot tub.

Two bedrooms both with King beds and two baths make this an ideal retreat for 2 couples, a larger family or the perfect "girlfriend" weekend. Gourmet kitchen features Silestone counters, Fischer Paykel appliances, a second woodburning fireplace and wonderful ocean views. Dogs are welcome and have their own kennel and fenced run. Property sits on 3 acres for privacy while still convenient to downtown Mendocino.
Master Bedroom may be rented for $425 a night (second and 3rd bedrooms will be locked off).
2 Bedrooms for $500 a night.
Additional bedroom with double futon and twin bunk can be rented for an additional $50 and can accommodate 3 additional guests.
There is a full size crib for a baby.

It's always hard to know what you're booking based on just internet pictures but I have to say in this case the pictures don't capture how great this home is. Apparently it is the owners former residence and its a great combo of "curl up with a good book comfy" with elegant. The bamboo floors, slate entry way - granite counters, fisher paykel appliance all speak to the quality and money that went into the home. The best part however is the VIEW, the Hot Tub, the super comfy beds, real wood fireplace and the quiet - all convenient to Mendocino. Part of the Inn at School House Creek - this house is the owners former residence. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the owners is apparent in every room. The kitchen is to die for - you can tell it was designed by someone who loves to cook. The hot tub and deck have an amazing view. One of the most wonderful parts are the innkeepers', Steven and Maureen, who have made this a labor of love. Everyone working at the inn is welcoming, and by the end of your welcome, you feel like family. Dog friendly. Our first time, but many of the guests had been coming for years. We will become regulars, I am sure. There are many vacation rentals along this stretch around Mendocino, but this has the most wonderful balance between classy, with every touch done well, yet also not formal or fussy.Did you find this review helpful? We woke up wanting to escape to the coast one Saturday morning... and found the Albion View to be PERFECT for the two of us! You can book all 3 bedrooms but were able to stay in the Master bedroom for a lower rate. LOVELY! The kitchen is to die for! The kitchen and Living room have windows along the entire wall to take advantage of the view. One night we walked to the Ledford House restaurant and our dinner was excellent. We loved being able to walk home and then hop in the hot tub to unwind. NOTHING could have been better... it was the perfect weekend.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2
