You know, renting a place is always a concern in the back of your mind. Well, the owner of the condo kept in touch with me and I can tell you, he is genuine and very helpful. The place is Colorado style, no fritz. Plenty of room. Actually could sleep 8 if you have small kids. The only negative is that the pull out couch is not comfortable, but they all are junk. The unit is directly across from the gondola. This was our 4th trip to Colorado, Telluride, Steamboat, Beaver Creek, and I will say, we enjoyed ourselves more than words can describe. Just consider renting this unit. I may get it before you though.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our family of four recently stayed in the very comfortable and clean condo and we were very pleased. There was plenty of room for all of us. Two bedrooms and a full bath upstairs including a very spacious master bedroom with a comfortable king bed and a warm gas fireplace in the bedroom. The other bedroom has a bunk bed (twin up top and full on the bottom) which was perfect for the kids. Downstairs had another full bath, full kitchen and a very comfortable family room with another very warm and cozy gas fireplace. Amenities of the Tamarack complex include a warm pool and the two hot tubs were nice and hot. Location was perfect. Very quiet and an easy two minute walk to the base village lifts. We were able to ski home to just across the street from the condo complex at the end of the day. The owner was responsive with any questions we had. I recommend this condo for your Snowmass stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
