Comments: We had a fabulous trip to Maui and were so happy with the condo we chose. Bonnie and Bill have the condo filled with everything you would want to use on vacation. We used the coolers on a regular basis! The condo was clean and comfortable and the condo complex was nice, especially the pools. If we're lucky enough to visit Maui again, we'd definitely want to stay here again!

My Wife and I stayed here 10 days while attending my neice's wedding. This place was perfect for us. Everything we needed was in the condo. The comfotable beach chairs certainly came in handy. We had family members over and each one said how much they liked the condo. I did not like the grill in the parking lot,but a few steps further to the pool were 2 grills and tables and chairs in a beautiful setting for cookouts. The wedding was wonderful and Maui is beautiful. When we come back we definitely would like to stay here again.

Recommended for:Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Very Comfortable Condo

We stayed here for a week in June 2011 with our two teens and it was very comfortable - large enough for our family for the week. The two bathrooms was a real plus, as was having a washer/dryer. The a/c worked well when we needed it. We loved the little patio and garden, where we could listen to the birds and smell the flowers. The whole complex is nicely landscaped and quiet, which is what we were looking for. It was also nice to just walk across the street to the beach to watch the sunset. The condo was very clean, and had a well equipped kitchen. There are bbqs scattered throughout the complex, and one is right near the condo. The condo has a lot of beach stuff - chairs, an umbrella, coolers, snorkel gear, and towels. We loved that this condo was comfortable to 'hang out' at, quiet, and very near the Wailea beaches (just turn left out of the condo entrance and you are almost in Wailea). The beaches in Wailea are gorgeous! We really enjoyed our stay.

This condo was very clean. It had everything you needed, the kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked with everything you needed. It also had beach towels, ice chest, snorkel gear, and beach chairs. This was a very quiet place to stay. I would highly recommend this condo.

My husband and I stayed for a week in May and absolutely loved the condo! The pictures don't truly show the comfort of this place. The bed was absolutely amazing! We actually slept better here than at home and this never happens when on vacation when you're not in your own bed. We both loved the plush carpet and my husband kicked back everyday on the easy chair. It really felt like a home and not a rental. As described the Hassett's have every amenity you can ever want; all the beach items, chairs, coolers, towels, sunblock, umbrellas and many magazines about the area, stereo for a little island music and plenty of counter space in the bathroom! I have to say, one of my favorite parts of this home is the kitchen! I love to cook and the Hassett's have everything needed to make gourmet meals. The pot/pan collection is high end, cooking utensils for everything, including new BBQ tongs and spatula, and the best, every spice you can think of or need. The location is perfect! A short walk across the beach to watch sunset, a left turn out of the complex to run towards Wailea's 5 star hotels for your morning jog, or a stroll brings you to several beaches or a restaurant for a quick bite and drink. Maui is one of my favorite places and staying here made it even more wonderful! Thank you very much Bonnie and Bill!! We'll be back (hopefully soon!)

What a relaxing home base for our Maui vacation! Very quiet with nice afternoon breezes off the ocean. The condo has 2 patios, one with a small grassy area that is fairly enclosed. Great to have a space where the girls could play outside on their own with no worries about their falling off a balcony. The furnishings and appliances are like new. We appreciated having a full kitchen to make breakfast and snacks for the kids. The free wi-fi worked well. Nice bathtub with sprayer hose for rinsing small children. Well stocked with sand toys, beach towels, and floaties - more gear than we used. Wonderful to have an in unit washer/dryer, so we could pack fewer clothes. The pool is a short walk away. Kids can stand in the water as It's 3 ft to 4 ft deep. The girls asked to go every afternoon, even though they had been to the beach in the morning. The complex is a five minute drive from the nicest and calmest beach we've found on Maui, and a large playground is 5 minutes in the other direction. Bonnie and Bill, We just wanted to thank you for letting us use your Maui condo. It made a wonderful home base for our family as we explored Maui for the very first time. We really appreciate all the amenities available to us such as washer/dryer, cooking spices, coolers and beach gear. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool. Everything was very comfortable and the place was also very clean. We will not hesitate in recommending your place to family and friends. We hope to return one day too! The Tremaine family

We just returned from spending 10 days in your beautiful condo. What a wonderful time! The condo was clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything we could have possibly needed. Having the beach umbrellas/chairs was especially nice as I have very fair skin and cannot be out in the sun for too long. The grounds at Maui Kamaole are beautiful and very well kept. Having the grill right outside the condo was great, too and we used it several times while we were there. Our son enjoyed the pool, it's very close to the condo but far enough away that you aren't disturbed by any noise during the evening. The best part, of course, were the beaches, within easy walking distance. All in all, an excellent vacation, we hope to go back next winter and are telling all our family and friends to stay at Maui Kamaole!

We have stayed in several condos while visiting Maui in the past, but we found Maui Kamaole to be the most conveniently located - you can walk to beaches, walk to restaurants. This condo in particular, we found to be very well stocked with whatever you need for the beach. Also, it is the most spotless condo we have ever stayed in. We hope to return to the same condo next year!

We spent 6 days in this condo in May 2009 on a 2 week trip that included Honolulu, Maui, and the Big Island. This proved to be the most relaxing! The location is great-beautiful beaches to the north and south just down the road! The condo grounds were beautiful, quiet, and well maintained. This unit had great access to the pool, but not too close that swimmers might disturb you. The condo was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed as our home away from home. We loved having breakfast outside on the lanai every morning, listening to bird sounds we have never heard before. A great convenience was using the beach umbrellas, coolers, chairs, etc that were there. All sorts of restaurants nearby to fit any budget. Grilled outside while we were there as well. This was our trip of a lifetime-we are so glad we spent a week here! Nancy and Bob

We have stayed on Maui many times, this was our first time in Bonnie & Bill's unit and it did not disappoint. We were istantly aware of the extensive upgrades they had done to the unit, new blinds throughout, both bathrooms updated, new ceramic tile and carpet throughout. The unit was immaculate. Being an end unit it was totally private and so peacful, not to mention the lush plants and trees surrounding the unit, I spent countless hours on the couch just staring at the view, deep in thought. The unit is equipped with your every need, including beach toys, coolers, chairs, etc. We enjoyed this unit so much, that we are already booked to go back again next January 2010.

Perfection. That's the only way to describe our stay in Maui. Maui Kamaole is stunningly beautiful -- at least 10 times nicer than any of the pictures you see. Always sunny Kihei is an excellent location for any day trips, especially with so many gorgeous beaches within 10 minutes. The condo was wonderful -- tons of space, cool, very quiet and had absolutely everything we needed. Excellent value. The resort facilities were incredible, too! This was truly the best time of our lives and we both can't wait to come again!

We really enjoyed your condo. It was very comfortable and nicely furnished and decorated. As my wife put it; it felt like a home and not a rental. We spent a lot of time at the beach and appreciated the goodies in the closet. The weather wasn’t great, but we had a great time anyway. My only complaint was the exorbitant cost for internet access. $90 for 2 weeks is way too much, especially when most hotels offer it for free. We run a small business and need the internet and this was a disappointment. Hopefully, that will change if we get a chance to stay in your condo again. Maybe next year?

I called Time Warner and the cost for an entire month is $54.95, so why you got the $90.for 2 weeks is a mystery. Hopefully next time they will have lowered the price anyway. We have been coming to Maui for the past several years now and we have always stayed at the Maui Kamaole. We have looked at several places in Kihei and Wailea and in our opinion the Maui Kamaole is the nicest place to stay. It is in an excellent location, convenient to shopping and beaches and it has the nicest landscaping of all the complexes. The low rise complex, spacious grounds, 2 swimming pools and private lanai are beautiful. We have also seen several of the condos in the Maui Kamaole and this condo is one of the nicest. It is very clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped with household and beach accessories. It is one of the newer condos and it is conveniently located in the complex. We would highly recommend this condo and will definately stay here again when we are back again. Thank you for your hospitality.

We enjoyed our stay in your condo immensely. We visit yearly and feel that this was one of the nicest condos we have stayed in. It very clean and nicely decorated, the bathrooms were updated, and both the lanai and bedroom courtyard were very pleasant. We loved entering the condo through the bougainvillea covered entryway. The pool area with its waterfall was beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

We had such a fantastic time at your home in Maui! It is very spacious and comfortable and the updates are really nice. It was great to have all the beach towels and coolers, etc already there so we didn't have as much to pack! The bed is super comfortable also! The complex is great (our daughter loved the pool, we went everyday!) and the location to other shopping and beaches is really great as well. We had a fantastic holiday and highly recommend this unit! We will definitely stay again!!

We stayed here July 1 -10, 2007. Very nice condo- well maintained and very clean. We especially enjoyed being so close to Wailea. Pool was delightful - very private. Highly recommended!

We spent a week in Oct in this condo. It is a wonderful place to stay while in Maui! It's so beautiful,clean,quiet and has everything you need. The beach supplies were well used. We stayed at this condo from May 24 thru June 1, 2007. It was spacious, very clean, had a comfortable king size bed, lovely lanai overlooking gardens and very close to the pool. You couldn t ask for anything better!!!!

This spring, we spent four wonderful weeks in this lovely condo and can highly recommend it. Extremely clean, beautifully decorated and well taken care of. All the amenities one needs and very convenient to everything. The lanai and surrounding beautiful gardens with a view of sunsets and palm trees are soothing to the soul.

We were in this lovely condo from Feb 22 to Mar 3. It is clean, nicely appointed, larger than the usual one bedroom and convenient. The kitchen has all the latest appliances and cooking equipment.

We spent 6 weeks in Jan./Feb. 2007 in this unit. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and amenities of J103. The Maui Kamaole complex is well maintained. The pool area is particularly attractive. The location is excellent. We hope to return in the near future.
