Located on 6-1/2 acres on the east shore of a spring-fed, no wake lake. All rooms are spacious, large windows with spectacular view; awesome sunsets. Sunroom with patio doors to deck. Dining table seats 10, with additional seating for 3 at the adjacent breakfast bar. Upper loft is 60ft long and wide at one end. The 4th bedroom is similar to a dormitory, with sleeping for 10. Loft has a "fireman's pole" to lower floor. Unfinished basement has a Foosball table and a full-size pool table.
Sandy beach for swimming; very clear water for snorkeling. The use of 1 canoe is included in the rental. A very quiet and remote location is home to many species of wildlife, such as nesting Bald Eagles, nesting Loons, Wood Ducks, Mallards, Canadian Geese, woodpeckers, Blue Herons, Sand Hill Cranes, minks, and a variety of birds and turtles.
Since the lake is 'No-Wake', waterskiing and jet skiing are available in many nearby lakes, as well as the big Michigamee Reservoir. |
