WOW! What a great location. We just got home from our stay at Summer Place and are already planning on going back. Hopefully we can get this same unit as it is a great place to stay. Please be aware that the pictures on the web page DO NOT do this place justice. The unit is way better in person. We arrived on Friday and everything was so easy, we retreived our keys from the "after hours" lockbox and proceeded directly to the condo. The place was spotless and you can tell it was decorated by someone who knows what they are doing. We had a total of 6 adults and 3 children and not once did I ever feel crowded in this condo. All 3 bedrooms have their own bath (this is a huge plus) and all of them are furnished quite nicely. This unit sits over the pool on the second floor so you have a great view of the pool and the ocean. All rooms in this complex are oceanfront as opposed to those sneaky "ocean view" rooms some people try to get away with. Our whole stay was very relaxing, the walk to the beach was very short compared to other places we have stayed at and the elevators were very quick. You can walk to stores, restaurants and even the fishing pier from this unit if you desire. Destin was a quick 10-15 minute car ride, but there is no reason to leave the beach that awaits right out your window. The beaches here are by far the nicest (white powder sand) and the cleanest (they groom them every morning) we have ever stayed at. We will be back!! Mike & Kathy D
