This is a very well equipped and comfortable condo. Great location on the beach as well as a good location in Gulf Shores. This was our first visit to this area - we found the restaurants in the area to be very nice and some excellent golf courses close by - don't miss Rock Creek. It is a little furthur away than some (in Fairhope) but well worth the drive. Everyone at the condo as well as in town were very friendly. The pool and the building are very clean and well maintained.

Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the condo, my children especially enjoyed the beautiful white sand beach just yards away from the condo. The place was equiped with everything your family requires to live comfortably. Conveniently located so your minutes to do what you like best, whether it be mini putt, go-carts, live music, or fine dining. We traveled and visited over the Thanksgiving holiday and we truly enjoyed our stay an would recommend it for anyone that would like to get away from the daily grind of life.

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your condo. We had a great time. Everything in the room was just like the pictures and everything was so clean. It was wonderful. I am very funny about things being clean, so that really made an impression on me. It was great not having to get everyone across the street to get to the beach. With 4 little ones we were able to go back to room when we needed too, and we loved being able to see the ocean from our room. We have 4 children and it is hard for us to have a place that has plenty of room for everyone to play and sleep. We had so much room and loved every minute of it. 3 of the 4 children have special diets, so it was great having the kitchen and plenty of room to keep their food. We had so much fun that no one wanted to come home. The kids were trying to figure out how we could stay forever! I know we will be coming again. I will keep your email address in my list of contacts for future reference. Thank you again. It was great.

We took our daughter and two granddaughters for a little vacation and we all loved it! The condo was clean and comfortable and perfectly located! The girls loved The Hangout and they have a great breakfast there - and I think we visited every souvenir shop! It was a great vacation!

Terrific Condo and View

Condo was everything advertised!! We loved it and our vacation! The view was spectacular complete with dolphins jumping in the surf. We cooked several meals and kitchen had everything needed! We LOVED the margarita machine!!! Beds were very comfy and everything was super clean when we arrived. Others in complex complained of cheap furnishing but the furnishings in this condo were very nice and well kept. We loved the big patio facing the beach and pool. It had a large table and plenty of chairs and loungers for our family of 5. We ate every meal on the patio! The pool was very clean and our 3 kids enjoyed it very much. The beach was a very short walk from the condo. This condo is perfect because it is an easy walk to use the stairs if elevator is busy. The beach sand was white and clean. The water was clear and perfect. The kids enjoyed using their boogie boards and making lots of sand castles. The beaches in front of this complex were not as crowded as other high rise condos. We had perfect chair location each day! Ricky suggested several things to do and places to eat. The dolphin cruise was so cool! We saw tons of dolphins jumping out of water in the surf. A definite must to do! The kids also really enjoyed the Hangout and LuLu 's was their favorite. This was a terrific condo and I would recommend it to anyone!!

Owner response:Thank you for your nice review Mary. Yes our unit is well furnished with upscale new furniture in the iving room January 2011 and exceptionally comfortable beds in each bedroom. We hear the same comments over and over about folks being disappointed with stays in some of our neighbor's units that are not as nicely furnished as ours. We had a great time. The condo was nice with a beautiful view. We felt at home right away. The kitchen was fully equipped. We could not have asked for more.It was easy for my elderly father to watch us from the balcony as we swam in the pool or played on the beach. This was a big plus for us. The condo unit and the surrounding property was very clean. The security guard seem to be on duty all the time not that I ever felt that I needed him. It was just nice to see a friendly face walking around. Our favorite night spot with our kids was just down the street. It is called the Hang Out. We would recommend this unit. The management has been easy to work with.

We just got back from our 7 day stay and it was perfect! The condo is great- pictures on this site are true to life. The pool and property are nice and well maintained too. Location is great - close proximity to restaurants, etc. We have a 6 year old and 1 year old, so it was really nice that they have a pack n play and booster seat so we didn't have to bring our own. Ricky, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with and provides excellent customer service! I will definitely rent from Ricky again when we go to Gulf Shores. Thanks so much!

My daughters and I stayed at this condo in summer of 2011 and found it to be extremely comfortable and well-kept. The view was to die for. I think we actually spent more time on the HUGE balcony than anywhere else. We found the in-suite washer and dryer to be such a plus. We will definitely stay here again...without a doubt:)

A girl friend and I rented this condo to take our other friend on a vacation. Who has been very ill. Ricky was very kind and easy to work with. Second family getaway

I was very pleased with renting from Ricky. We just recently stayed for a 7 day vacation in her wonderfully, home away from home, condo. This was our second time renting from her. She is easy to deal with, answers promply and going out of her way to make you feel right at home. We were lucky to have rented for her. We meet a couple while were there and they rented a different condo from a different owner. They were very unhappy due to fact they did not come close to all the extras, such as dishes, cook supplies, the fireplace, and 3 TVs with DVDs, and they wish they would have check out Ricky's site before coming. Her condo is all that she says and more. Thanks Ricky!! We will be back again!! Must see places Lambert's Restaurant and the Tanger Outlet Mall (get deals!!)

A great place to get away from the snow

We spent 4 days/3 nights on our first visit to Gulf Shores. Mid January is a great time to be there if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The beaches and restaurants are uncrowded. The condo was lovely and very well equipped. There were beach chairs and even toys for the kids. The rental rate was quite competitive and I felt we got a good value for our rental. Ricky was in the condo right above us and was very helpful with recommending restaurants and reattaching a cable TV connection. We will definitely rent from Ricky the next time we come to Gulf Shores.

I loved your condo. It was wonderful.. beach was beautiful--no tar balls or oil in the water. Water was calm and very little undertow. This condo is on the third floor--beautiful views of the ocean, sunrise, and sunsets-- pool is right below balcony. The condo was clean; furniture was comfortable, Beds slept great! Kitchen has everything you can think of-- wonderfully furnished. Beautiful Flower arrangements in dining and living areas. I loved staying here.. convenient to everything... relaxing atmosphere. It was absolutely wonderful! I have stayed at several condos and it was the best! We were there August 4- August 8. Thank you for sharing this with us and allowing us to share in your spot of heaven!

More Beautiful Than we Could Imagine!

I'm not normally one to leave a review but this time I feel I must. The news made it sound as if may-be we shouln't risk keeping our reservations here but we are so happy we did not cancel. This is one of the cleanest beaches we have ever seen. There were no signs the was ever an oill spill. While we were her the water was so clear you could wade out to your shoulders and see the shells down by your feet...that is clear! This condo was just as described but more beautiful than in the pictures. We enjoyed all the little "extras" the owner has included to make the place homey and comfortable. Hopefully we will be able to return again next year. You should call the owner right now and book your vacation with her.

Condo was just as described. A boat-load of amenities. Even with the Tar Balls, the beach was walkable and the sound of the surf was breath-taking. Even rain didn't hamper our enjoyment of it. It was out-fitted exactly the same way you yourself would if you owned it. Would love to come back.

We spent a great spring break with the help of Ricky and her great condo. The weather was great, but even if had not been the accommodations would have made up for that. The condo is on a great streatch of a great beach. Great for families or like us a couple, just wanting to set on the beach, soak up some rays and read a good book. This condo right on the beach is like a little piece of paradise ! We had a wonderful week and can’t wait to return. This was my first experience with a VRBO rental. Booking with Ricky is so EASY ! I can’t tell you how nice it was not to have to deal with check-in at a rental agency. You just drive right up to paradise with your key and go in !!! The condo is clean, beautifully decorated, and well equipped with many extras. We saw dolphins every morning from the large balcony as we drank our coffee. We couldn’t ask for a nicer vacation or place to stay. We will definitely be back !

Wow! What a beautiful condo! The red and brown living area is as comfortable as it is beautiful! The bedrooms are so calming and relaxing. The condo is close to the parking, the elevator, and the beach. As elementary teachers, we enjoyed ending our school year with some relaxation at the beach, the pool, and at dinner. This was our first family vacation to Gulf Shores and we couldn't have been more satisfied with the accommodations! The condo is tastefully decorated, yet comfortable enough to feel like you are at "home". Everything we wanted to do was well within our convenience. With three active children, it was nice to have immediate access to the beach or the pool. This is definitely a family-oriented, but not overly crowded beach. After Spring Break-ing in Florida for many years, we are happy to have found our new vacation spot without the lengthy travel (only 12 hours from Indiana) or rowdy college students. We are already looking forward to bringing more family members with us next year! Thank you so much, Ricky!

With our 401k's going down the drain, talk of the stimulus package and the hectic pace at work, three of us decided it was time to get away and relax. We found the perfect place to do this at this condo. Located right on the beach, we enjoyed walks, reading on the balcony and all of the amenities included in this well kept condo. Hi Ricky - Had a fantastic stay. You were so quick to respond and made everything so easy for us. We always go away for vacation, but thought we'd try our own back yard. What a great condo and sugar white sand.... A true beach getaway! Even the elevator was quick! Just 60 seconds from our door to laying our towel in the perfect spot on the beach. This condo made us all feel so warm and welcome, even with our three children in tow! The decor is absolutely beautiful, as is the view from the extra big balcony! I loved waking up each morning and seeing the gulf from the bed in the master suite. I do wish, however, the pools had been heated. They were extremely cold! (Said they usually aren't heated until after Thanksgiving!) But overall, we had a truly fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely condo, and the weather was perfect. The bed was more comfortable than any place we have ever stayed...and we loved sleeping with the door open so we could hear the waves crashing on the beach. This was a great condo. Many extras and fantastic views from deck. The location was perfect, not far from attractions, restaurants and shopping. What a place! Everything and then sum. The décor was like going into a model home. My wife and I had a most wonder stay. usually go and stay at friend home for free but this was a real treat. Free is not always the best – This place has a gulf view from the master bedroom and living room over viewing the POOL. If you are looking for a view and a very well decorated place, THIS IS IT. We will be back soon. I don’t mind paying for a place like this. IT WAS EXTRA NICE.JJ
