Freshly painted in designer colors. This mountain home now has a new stained glass front door to greet you as you begin your vacation. High-speed DSL wireless and TV's with VCR/DVD in all bedrooms. If you want to enjoy Lake Tahoe in a home that will take you back to those slower times, when you can curl up by the river rock fireplace and smell the fragrance of real logs burning in the fireplace (wood provided), then this is it! Enjoy the open beam ceiling and new carpet. And if you love to cook, you can use the Dacor gas range and work on the new granite counter tops with a fully furnished kitchen. Everything is provided for preparing meals. Spices, condiments, extra-virgin olive oil, and misc. cooking supplies are provided. There is a separate master suite with jetted tub and stall shower. The beds are comfortably new with extra "pillow tops" and custom made bedspreads and throw pillows. The linen is fresh and new 350 count or better.
Enjoy the peek of the lake and the lush forested neighborhood. But still be centrally located. Walk along the paved bike path. Stroll half a block to the lake and in the summer swim in the private homeowners' pool or enjoy the private beach cove swimming area,(closed winter months). Or take advantage of the recreation center that has an indoor olympic size pool, sauna, work out room with full exercise equipment, racquet ball and basketball gym. Located less than a block from the "village" shopping and yet it is so quiet you can hear the gentle breeze blowing through the trees. After a big snow storm we love to walk to the village instead of digging out and driving. It is less than a block away.
There is a front deck for catching a sun tan and enjoying a peek of the lake. Relax on the lawn in the garden area in front. Or relax on the back deck with new hot tub and peaceful shaded area for enjoying a good book and a cool drink. The gentle sloping driveway is large enough for several cars to park off road and even park your boat on the property. In the winter the huge "old Tahoe" great room and the ceiling high windows allow a great view as the snow is falling outside. Snow removal is provided and the house is located on the school bus route, it is one of the first streets to be cleared in the event of a big snow fall. The house is located close to the lake making it much easier to get in and out during heavy snows. Because Lake Tahoe never freezes, it works like a heater during the winter. The roads melt faster and the access is much easier than the homes located at a higher elevation. A perfect place to get away from it all, or get close to all the varied activities Lake Tahoe has to offer.

The Unique Benefits of this House
Our home is located within walking distance to Burnt Cedar Beach and the Incline shopping center. You can walk to both and yet it is very quiet and peaceful. Our front yard has shady areas and sunny areas and the new lawn and landscaping we planted make it a perfect area to watch the kids play or just relax. There is plenty of off street parking and you won't need to worry about climbing up the side of a mountain to get to the house. Because it is at lake level the snow melts faster and the temperatures are milder.
