Suttons Bay, secluded on top of a hill surrounded by dense woods only 3 short blocks from the village, including restaurants, shops, movie theater, beaches, and marina. Traverse City, Glen Arbor, Leland, Elk Rapids, Northport, and Torch Lake are only a short drive away.
This family home is newly updated, open, and spacious. The huge kitchen island, with nearby wetbar is an entertainment draw, with a view of the Bay in one direction and beautiful surrounding trees on the rest, and opens to a side porch with a gas grill, near the kid's play area and fire pit. The kitchen overlooks the next level down - a family room with an entertainment center with a large screen TV, DVD/VCR, stereo with multi-CD disc player which connects to a large porch, both with incredible views of the Bay.
The kid's room also has a TV with VCR. The ground floor Game Room features a 2nd entertainment center with large screen TV and poker table which opens into a ground floor porch with porch swing and view of the Bay. All rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished.
Within walking distance are public tennis and basketball courts, and many unique shops and restaurants for any desire and budget. Also within walking distance is the public marina with available rentable boat slips and beach, complete with a children's playground. Many public beaches are a short drive away on beautiful Lake Michigan.
The family home's fireplace is also a cozy place to enjoy the snowfall, and outside winter sports including a community skating rink created by the town only a few blocks away. It is a 3 minute drive to nearby Leelanau Sands Showroom and casino gambling, and nearby are championship golf, charter fishing, and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

We had a 4 generation, very memorable, gathering at this beautiful home! As soon as we walked in the door we fell in love with the home and the location. Warm and comfortable decor, open floor plan with beautiful kitchen with a large island for all of us to re-connect and enjoy conversation and fun! The property is so wonderful with the decks overlooking the bay, porch swing, fire pit, and just enjoying nature, as it is tucked away amongst many trees. We walked into the adorable town of Suttons Bay several times, walked the marina,shopped at the boutiques and gift stores, and ate breakfast at a couple of very nice quant restaurants. Maureen was wonderful to work with and made sure everything was comfortable for us. We look forward to vacationing again at the this great vacation home!

As we had to rush out in the end to catch our plane home I did not have the opportunity that I had hoped to write a quick note in your guest book. We fell in love with this house and the location the first time we rented it so we decided to come back the year after. It's within walking distance to the beach, marina, ice cream etc. All the comforts of home inside and close to so many things. Traverse City, winery's, golf, sand dunes, etc. We can't wait to have our next stay here!

Great family home with all the attention to details to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Very clean and homeowners were very attentive in making sure their home was enjoyed by all. Would highly recommend this vacation home and look forward to staying again. Great sound system as well!
