Owner's Map of North Rustico
We began coming to PEI in the mid 80's. Like so many people we returned year after year and in 2005 we found a lovely piece of property with a spectacular view and built a 3 bedroom summer home. We set out to equip this as a rental property with the plan that we would find a few weeks a year to use it ourselves. Fast forward a few years and we found another beautiful piece of property in North Rustico and built our dream home. We became permanent residents in May of 2009. Our three sons and their families love the island as much as we do and look forward to the peace and beauty it offers when they leave their busy lives behind to spend time with us. You will be in awe of the wildlife, the scenery, the colours, the people and the culinary offerings. PEI is a secret gem and you will find it difficult to visit only once.

This property was ideal for our extended family of 4's vacation. Layout of the house provides private space upstairs and down, and the views of the sunrise and sunset are wonderful. The kitchen is well-equipped and the property is extremely well maintained, inside and out. The owners are most helpful, e-mailing ahead of time and contacting us on arrival to make sure everything is alright. The telephone and internet were appreciated. Some good restaurants are a short distance away in New Glasgow, not to mention the renowned St. Ann's Church Lobster Dinners 5 minutes away. It was also a good location from which to travel along the Gulf Coast as well as into Charlottetown. After some busy days exploring the island, it was nice to come home to our country "retreat". We highly recommend this VRBO property to others vacationing on PEI.
Owner response:Thanks for your excellent review. So happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. We hope to have you back with us on the island some time in the future. Cheers, Wendy and Jeff

The house was immaculate and comfortable, with everything you might need, from cookware to beach gear, fire pit, etc. The location was great, just short drive from Cavendish, several beaches, restaurants, etc. The owners were very helpful, just an email or phone call away.

What a wonderful place. Hidden away from the "tourists", yet close enough to all attractions, golf, restaurants, etc. The place was immaculate & the owners were nearby when needed-- yet were not intrusive. The pictures accurately describe the house.

Glasgow Hills Hideaway exceeded our expectations in every way. The owners seem to have thought of every possible thing to make their guests totally comfortable. The house was immaculate. This is a home away from home, not a cottage. We hated to leave and plan on returning next year.

Thank you for contributing to good memories of our trip.

Excellent Accommodation - lots of room and amenities for the four of us. Very very comfortable. Wendy and Jeff, you went out of your way to help us. The house layout made it easy to load and unload our golf equipment to the vehicle. Close to good golf courses, bakeries (mmm..), shopping and routes for touring the island. Only 40 minutes from Charlottetown or 15 minutes from Victoria By The Sea for a day outing. Only 10 minutes to Cynthia McLeod's Ceilidh for an entertaining evening. Highly recommended.
