The Charming Tahoe Cabin is located in a forested neighborhood only 2 Blocks from Spectacular Lake Tahoe and 2 miles from Heavenly Ski Resort and Casinos. Located 4 blocks from a beautiful mountain meadow. The cabin has a hot tub, fireplace, large flatscreen HDTV, wireless internet, 4 adult bikes and a large, fenced backyard. We are pet friendly.

The cabin has been beautifully renovated. Downstairs bedroom has a double wood carved bed and a solid pine armoire. One upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a single bed, also a cable TV and games for the kids. The other upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a single bed with pine furniture and telephone. On the redwood deck there is a Hot Tub to warm up on chilly nights and look at the stars. Cook on the Gas Grill and enjoy the sunny large fenced backyard

Boat Rentals, Ski Rentals, Bicycle Rentals and Horseback Riding are all within a 10 minute drive.

Amenities: High Speed Wireless Internet Access, Hot Tub, Bikes, Deck, Patio Furniture, Gas Grill. Large Fenced In back yard. Kitchen has Washer and Dryer, Microwave, Dishwasher, Granite Countertops and Pine Dining Table which seats eight. Living room has a large screen HDTV, Stereo, CD, VCR, DVD, telephone, fireplace and a sleeper sofa. There are assorted games for the family to enjoy. Iron and Ironing Board and hair dryer are also available.

Activities: There is something for everyone at Lake Tahoe. You can swim, boat, fish in the Lake. Go on bike rides or hike on the many trails. For the Golfer there are 3 courses located within a 10-20 minute drive. There are many world class ski resorts which surround the Lake for Skiers, SnoBoarders, Sledders and SnoTubing. Heavenly Ski Resort is only 2 miles away. For the cowboy in you, there is horseback riding just 10 minutes away!

Visit the turn of the century mansions of Vahalla at Richardson Beach or Vikingsholm at Emerald Bay. Rent a boat and cruise around the lake, or take one of the paddle wheel boats, Tahoe Queen or M.S. Dixie for a tour of the Lake.

Take a short drive to Nevada and explore the Towns and Gold Mines.

There is something for everyone at Lake Tahoe.

Area: Lake Tahoe is the Jewel of the Sierra Mountains, with its clear blue waters for boating, swimming and fishing. The skiing and snowboarding is world class.

Lastly, one of our favorite authors, Samuel Clemens of Mark Twain Fame, once wrote 'To breathe the air that angels breathe, go to Lake Tahoe.' He's right. The air with the sweet, clean pine scent is absolutely wonderful.

This is a lovely cabin in a wonderful location! We came from Sacramento-two families with four adults and two 6 year old boys and four dogs. The bikes were a great addition. We took a ride through the meadow and saw a bald eagle along the way. We walked to the beach each night to watch the sunset and the kids loved playing there in the daytime, too. We did a nice hike off of South Upper Truckee River called Hawley's Grade. The falls and walking along the river seemed to be everyone's favorite-including the dogs. Our families love enjoying the outdoors, but it's great to come back to a home cooked meal, hot shower and a peaceful sleep. P.S. The hot tub was fantastic!

Great place! Thank you so much! We celebrated my Mom's 75th birthday. Her 4 kids surprised her and brought her to Tahoe for the weekend. One from Vermont One from Tucson, Arizona One from Ventura, Ca One from Paradise, Ca We all had a great visit!

From the moment we walked in, we felt the comfort of this lovely cabin and the beautiful area of Tahoe. We loved the back yard full of snow for the dogs to play in. The cabin had everything we could of possibly needed and we enjoyed our stay so much! Hope to visit again real soon.

Family of 5 from Cupertino, CA and a dog. We had a wonderful time during the stay at this cabin and we very much appreciate you guys for providing us this place. The small details (like the posters on the wall, bed covers, curtains and many more...) were all so cute and not to mention the hot tub! We were all very pleased to use the hot tub every night, and drink hot chocolate by the fireplace (mmm...). Everything was so beautiful at this place; the morning Lake, the snowy mountains, and the evening sky accompanied with hundreds of bright stars. Amazing. We wish to come back again to this cabin the next time we visit Tahoe (which I hope wouldn't be too long away)...! Thank you for the great time we had at this place.

Refugee's From Nashville: For myself, it has been 30 years since last I had been to Tahoe. There have been a few changes since then. We had a wonderful time skiing, although the last days were a challenge due to driving snow and high winds. Shirley managed to get all the way to Incline Village on her own and that evening we motored to Carson City to have a reunion with In/Out Double Doubles. Yeah! Thanks for the memories as Mr. Hope would say and we look forward to another visit.

From Buffalo, NY, Indianapolis, Indiana and Kansas City, Mi- 7 guys here on a ski trip. What a wonderful cabin. We warmed our clothes by the fire, played Yahtzee, dominoes and sang old camp songs. Our best night was when we had a taco fiesta. The hot tub was well utilized every night. We love you! Had a lot of fun at Tahoe. We'll be back! (said in schwarzenegger voice)

About the owner: Steve and Mary purchased The Charming Tahoe Cabin in 2005, fulfilling a life long dream to have a cabin at Lake Tahoe. There are not many places on this Earth that is as beautiful as Tahoe and the Sierras. Sometimes it takes our breath away. We spend our summers now biking around the Lake, riding our horses along the Tahoe Rim Trail (130 miles completed) and now kyaking around the Lake (about 40% completed). Our son, Kenny, says we are going to be dancing around the Lake next...OK, bring it on! Winter sports here are unparallelled. Come enjoy this special place!

Why the Owner Chose Al Tahoe:
We purchased our Charming Tahoe Cabin because it is located just 2 blocks from Spectacular Lake Tahoe and only 2 miles from Heavenly Ski Resort. The casinos are just 2 miles away for great nightlife fun and concerts. Restaurants are all within a couple minutes. It's a very warm and cozy and special place.
