  We loved our stay at the beach. The house was very clean and we had plenty of room. Although we had a short walk to the beach, our location was good. We loved the gated community and the many activities for the kids. Our week went by too fast. We can't wait to return next summer.

  This was our first time ever renting a home. We rented it with two other families and we absolutly loved it. Very spacious, close to the ocean, he had everything in the kitchen that we needed to cook for a big group. If i had any questions he was always avaliable and friendly to answer them.   We took our daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandkids and had a wonderful time! Jeff is wonderful to work with, very personable and ready and willing to correct anything if needed. The resort is very nice,staff is great and a lot of great things to do. Things are reasonably priced, not overpriced like you would expect in a closed community such as Ocean Lakes. Can't wait to go back again! We ended up saving a lot of money over the past few years because we can eat in and enjoy it and there is so much to do in the resort, we don't have to waste money being entertained elsewhere. Thanks Jeff! Can't wait for next year!

  This is the 2nd year in a row we have rented from Jeff and both years have been outstanding. The location is excellant, the price is affordable, and the houses have been in excellant shape when we arrived each year. The bunk beds were awesome for the kids, they loved them. Jeff is excellant and professional in every way. If you are looking for a place to rent from and arent sure, contact Jeff, you wont be disappointed. In future Myrtle Beach vacations we will for sure contact Jeff to stay in one of his houses. Dave

  We rented this home for a family reunion/vacation, 3 families. We had a 7 bedroom home. The lay out was perfect, spacious, well distributed. The kitchen was fully furnished -it even had measuring spoons!. The bathrooms were spacious, the rooms as well. When we arrived everything was clean and as arranged with Jeff. We will come back! Jeff was amazing to work with, communication was excellent from the time we were deciding to rent until the day we arrived back at home. The community was very nice, well maintained and organized. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The beach was beautiful and clean, our kids had an amazing time. The amenities were also great; the playgrounds, pools, and game areas were in excellent shape, clean and the perfect compliment to our vacation and one thing I really loved was the prices for things like beach umbrellas, food and drinks provided by the community, they were reasonable. Not overpriced like in a resort or hotel! That gave us the ability to splurge and truly enjoy our time without feeling guilty. We've gone to Myrtle for the last 5 summers on our family vacations, this year alone was our third time but our first here and from now on we'll always go to Ocean Lakes and work with Jeff! Again, Jeff thank you for helping us have a great family vacation and having this home be the best to rent in the area!

  We rented house #1182, a 4 bedroom house. The house was well maintained, nicely decorated, and very clean. The ocean was only a short walk away, approximately 8 houses back. You can view the ocean from a distance on the top deck. The master bedroom was awesome, very spacious. Jeff was super easy to work with and quicky returned calls or emails. He even called and checked to make sure everything was satisfactory. My 3 year old daughter loved the splash zone pool and bicycling through the campground. I would definitely recommend renting from Jeff, very professional, friendly, and accomodating!

  Hello, our family goes to Ocean Lakes each year for Thanksgiving weekend. Since our group keeps getting larger, this past year we rented 2 - 4 bedrooms houses from other owners, and a 4 bedroom and a 7 bedroom from Jeff Ciuba. His houses were nicely set up and clean. We could not have asked for better houses. We did rent his golf carts instead of renting from Ocean lakes becuse he was cheaper. This was a mistake because they wouldnot run for long or would not charge at times. Next time rent from Oceans Lakes! Their shop is open in case your cart does not work. Plus, we called 3 weeks after our vacation about our deposit. no return call. Called again to find out our deposit was a cleaning fee, even though we cleaned the units before leaving. The agreement stated that this was a deposit, Jeff Ciuba stated this is a FEE. {please change the wording in your agreement}. Houses were excellent. Golfcarts were fair. Agreement was poor because of hidden "Fee" deposit.

  Owner response: This review was submitted almost a year after the guest stayed in our beach house. After a few phone calls, I learned that the person who wrote this review did stay in one of the houses, but is not the person who rented the house or signed the rental agreement. First I would like to say that I appreciate the positive comments that our houses were "Perfect" and "nicely set up and clean" and that you "could not have asked for better houses". These are great comments, and it seems that the reviewer was very happy with our house.. I am sorry if you had a problem with the golf cart, but we now have two brand new Club Car golf carts and have not had any problems. Our golf carts are great and you can save lots of money by renting from us instead of through the resort. If I had known there was a problem, I certainly would have taken care of it right away. I am quite confused about the comment about the cleaning fee. Again,the person who wrote this review is not the person who rented the house or signed the rental agreement. Our rental agreement is very clear and simply states "There is a $100 refundable security/cleaning deposit. This may be refunded if you decide to clean the house upon departure". This means that the deposit will be refunded if you clean the house upon departure, or that it is okay if you don't want to clean when you leave, and then the deposit is used to pay the cleaning crew. I am sorry if this member of the rental group did not understand the policy, but it is very clear in our rental agreement, and I review it again with the primary renter when each group arrives. We do not have any hidden fees!!! As you can read in all of our reviews, we try our very best to make sure all of our guests have a great vacation.

  We stayed twice at Jeff's rental in the last six months! We had a wonderful vacation. The first was spring break with all our grandchildren, gets no better. Then in June we enjoyed another week. Jeff had every little detail in place for both trips. He does a fabulous job! The house for both weeks was perfect. We had lots of room. The huge deck was quite the addition. We ate outside most every night after grilling. There isn't enough to be said about the golf card, what a success! We know in our hearts that after our stay, the ducks are better fed!!! Jeff you are the best!

  When my family and I went down and stayed in this home for a family get away vacation , it was very nice and pleasant . If you have gotten a bad review on this house are way out of line . It was a big , spacey , and clean house . The placement of the house is also very nice . If we would have been any closer to a the ocean it wouldn't have mattered . It is a very nice place . We are very happy we chose to stay there .
