  This is a very nice, relaxing place to stay with many amenities immediately available and most major attractions just a short drive away. The first thing you are greeted to is security at the front gate, which makes you feel very safe right off the bat. The people at the gate were very helpful and there was plenty of available parking. The condo itself is a great value! There is plenty of room for everyone, the beds were comfortable, and it was nice to have dishes in the kitchen that were clean and ready to be used. We simply unpacked and started having fun. The pools on-site will keep you busy for a while and the beach is a short stroll away. We loved walking around the gated property, enjoying the nice weather, and seeing where the other visitors were from. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby including an ice cream place that we visited at least three times during the week. All of the major attractions are just a short drive away so, again, the location is ideal. The internet was not reliable but that actually turned out to be a positive thing as everyone couldn't just sit around and get lost in electronics. The VCR probably needs upgraded to a DVD player but that's just being nitpicky. This is a great place to stay, very comfortable, very affordable, and you just plain feel like you are at home-away-from-home. We highly recommend it!

We try very hard to make sure all who stay with us are completely satisfied and we rely heavily on information provided by our previous guests, in order to accomplish that. In reference to the Internet, we have contacted the Resort and the problem has been taken care of. As for the VCR, we are planning to upgrade the two TVs to flat screens and the VCR to a DVD, next time we are at our condo.   Nice comfortable place to stay. You can't beat all of the things to do at the Myrtle Beach Resort. This particular condo was nicely appointed with many extras that you do not always see in "fully furnished" condos. The condo was very "kid friendly" and all three of our little ones (aged 5,3, and 2) felt right at home in the condo. Beds were comfortable. Only area I could possibly suggest for improvement would be to upgrade or freshen the living room furniture (couch and chair.)

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  To The Young Family thanks alot we all had a good time. The waterpark was perfect for both my 4 year old & lazy river and pool for my 12 year old. It was really nice to be able to let both age group do their thing at the same time. The walk to the ocean on day 1 was hard for me, but my 72 year old mom enjoyed it daily. We enjoyed our stay. The Johnson's from Virginia

  For an older facility, the unit we stayed in was quite pleasant and comfortable. The kitchen amenities were quite adequate. Unit was clean & well maintained though one shower vaucet continually leaked. Some of the lighting wasn't working & we weren't sure which switches operated which lights. We experienced a few roaches on a couple of days but they weren't persistent & we assume that it's a typical problem in that climate. The unit was a reasonably short walk to the beach. It was reassuring to have gated security to the property. The owner was very easy to deal with & provide adequate information for the available amenities to the property. Not luxury accomadation but comfortable & would recommend to anyone who doesn't have extemely high expectations.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

  Owner response: NOTE: The "roaches" this guest is referring to are common Palmetto bugs, Black Beetles, etc. Anyone who has lived in or frequently vacations in the South, have encountered these larger insects. At first sight, they'll scare the heck out of you and probably make you wonder if they're a leftover prop from a Woody Allen movie (ok all you movie buffs...which Allen movie am I referring to??), lol. My oldest daughter and wife have insect phobias so when we stay at our condo, an ocassional rare encounter with one of these insects, lol, usually makes for a very interesting (and very funny) vacation story, lol. However, let me be clear, these insects are not to be mistaken for the much smaller, reddish brown "cockroach" everyone usually envisions in an apartment, when the dreaded word "roach" is used. None the less, fear not....an exterminator visits the resort on a regular basis, as part of our extermination maintainance program.
