Our VRBO cancelation policy allows you to cancel at least 60 days prior to your reservation and receive a full refund. For protection less than 60 from your reservation, purchase trip insurance (not from VRBO).
We recommend a CFAR (Cancel for any reason) policy which covers 75% of your trip. We agree to refund you the remaining 25%. You are 100% covered, and we still receive 75% of your booking if you need to cancel. It's a win/win! Ask us for details about where to buy CFAR insurance.,
Covid-19 Cleaning Protocol: Following CDC recommendations, we clean all hard surfaces (counters, tables, light switches, door knobs, etc.) with a bleach solution. All soft surfaces are sprayed with a 70% alcohol solution. It takes longer and costs a bit more, but it's worth it!

Relax poolside, melt in our private hot tub, then chill in the hammock. Sunbathe on our huge sun-drenched deck, or dine outside as the sun sets behind the hills. Ride bikes to town (2.5 miles) or local wineries, or book a customized private wine tour with our wine guides.
Cook a gourmet meal in our fully equipped kitchen, and end the day with a glass of wine by our backyard fire pit, Get comfy in a guest bathrobe, then sleep in luxury and privacy.

Each of our three bedrooms are at different ends of the house. None share a common wall so you and your guests enjoy maximum privacy.

Let us help you plan your own private wine tour based on your wine preferences, type of winery, or locations you want to visit (Canneros, Dry Creek, Napa, etc.).
Approximately 35 wineries are within a 15 minute (or less) drive from our house, and we are 2.5 miles from downtown Sonoma's great restaurants, shops, and tasting rooms. We are equi-distance to either Napa Valley or Healdsburg/Dry Creek wineries (45 minutes).
We also have 6 free bicycles to ride to wineries, downtown Sonoma, or just around the neighborhood.
And on a cool night, you can light one of our two wood-burning fireplaces, curl up on the couch and choose from over 200 classic movies on VHS & DVD. Or log-in to Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon with our wifi-enabled TV.
We have a pingpong table, as well, perfect for both kid and adult fun, no matter how badly you play!
The master bedroom has a Cal-King bed and private bath. The other two bedrooms offer queen beds.

Great place

The house was nice and clean. Had everything you needed. We didn’t use the pool but the hot tub was used. Close to all kinds of places to eat and shop. We would go back again.

Family getaway

Fantastic experience. The location sells itself with so much to do (great food, winery tours, hikes, tennis, pickleball), but Larry made our experience even better with heated pool, hot tub, ping pong. There were many other thoughtful touches including providing coffee, a bottle of wine and a well curated listing of restaurants and wineries. Bravo.

We spend our time between Sonoma, Berkeley and Orcas Island Washington. With our 2 jobs and 4 young adult children in various stages of leaving home, we are busy! We love to travel, cook, read, exercise, do yoga, and hang out with good friends. We look forward to hosting you in Sonoma or Orcas Island.

Why they chose this property

Sonoma is an amazing place which retains a Norman Rockwell small town feel even though it is just 50 minutes from San Francisco. Our home reflects that small town ideal because it is located on a quiet one block long dead end street, just a few minutes drive to many wineries and 2.5 miles to the town of Sonoma itself. We love it for its bright, airy openess (4 skylights), open floor plan, many fruit trees and the sense of relaxation and rejuvenation we get when we are here.

What makes this property unique

When we think of wine country, we think of getting away from it all and entering a slower-paced life, even if it's just for the weekend. Our home inspires that feeling - our location, the layout of our home, the amenities all create a space where you can relax and enjoy yourself and everything Sonoma has to offer.
