Why the Owner Chose Cody

I have been visiting Cody for 15 years and consider it our second home. The home is in a great location just 4 blocks from Sheridan Ave and a few miles from the airport. The house was built in 1917, but was completely renovated in 2004.

The Unique Benefits of this House

We always enjoy going to the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. There are wonderful new exhibits each summer and great special events during the year like the Pow Wow, the Buffalo Bill Art week and the Museum art auctions. Beck Lake Resevoir is a favorite walk every morning for us and our dogs. Another plus is that we always get to go through Yellowstone every summer on our visit.

great spot

such a nice home in a quiet location but very close to town. The house was comfortable, clean, and a nice change from lots of hotels on our road trip. Cody was a great place to enjoy on its own (rodeo; excellent Buffalo Bill Museum with lots of hands-on activities; "gunfight" by the main st.; several charming parades while we were there around the 4th of July). Cody also made a great starting point for two day trips to Yellowstone.

Cody is a must see destination

This cute and cozy house is set four blocks off main street, easy walking distance. Cody is a town full of things to do. There is a rodeo every night of the week during the summer, great restaurants, fishing and beautiful drives. Yellowstone is an hour away. The Buffalo Bill Historical Museum is one of Cody's main attractions. The property is comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. I would recommend this property to my friends.

Cody Cottage

This is the first time we used this type of accommodations. We found the cottage to be very clean, cozy and well furnished. After telling you that we would probably be getting into Cody late at night, we were pleasantly surprised to see that a light was left on for us. If we are ever in town again or have friends go to Cody, we will be happy to recommend your cozy cottage. Thanks also for the information you sent to us in the mail and information you had at the cottage, It was very helpful.

Great vacation!

I have never used VRBO before and was so pleased with the experience. I stayed 8/09 and found so much to do. The central location made day travel so convenient. The house was adorable and well equipped. I found that being able to cook and not having to unpack all the time made my stay much easier and affordable. Cody is a happening experience. The antique shops were such fun. The house was even nicer than the photos and the listing was accurate. I felt like I was staying at at a friend's house.

We spent 2 nights in Cody and had a great time. The house was convenient to the downtown area and well furnished. We especially enjoyed the washer and dryer! The bakery next door was great, however it wasn't open on Saturday or Sunday. Everything was as described on the web site.
