A HUGE thanks to Nicholas for opening up his beautiful home to us! The home and view are just as described and so much more...we sat every evening and watched the sunset on the Verde valley with beautiful pictures to show for it. The home is absolutely amazing and our 10-year-old, four-legged companion loved the back patio which is completely fenced in so he could roam freely. The house is located 10-15 minutes from Sedona and Page Springs (Arizona's wine country!) and after spending the day out and about, it was great to return to the Casa and relax the night away (the variety of board games to play and pool table are a much added bonus). We will DEFINITELY be returning some time in the near future! p.s. No need to be afraid of the driveway, nothing to it!

The owner is great to deal with. Couldn't have been a better place to relax and enjoy time off. Short travel times to attractions and restaurants. House is clean with lots of room. Nice views too. I would recommend this property to all my friends. Thank you for a great vacation. Ron in Maine

From the moment we spotted the house on the hill, followed by the personalized welcome note in the kitchen, we knew there was something special about this place! We feel fortunate, indeed, that we found this beautiful home for a family retreat. It is better than any five-star hotel in which we previously stayed. The home is conveniently located near Sedona and other historical points of interest but is quiet and peaceful and nestled in the countryside. The home is tastefully decorated with interesting and beautiful art and it's spacious rooms and high ceilings give one a feeling of freedom. At night the stars were more bright and clear than we've seen for years. This home is a rare find and we plan to come here again. Like many other folks who wrote in the guest book, we would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for "the special place" to stay near Sedona. Jerry & Susan

Some good, some not-so-good

The house itself was very nice and well-equipped. Centrally located to all the attractions - from Sedona to the north, to the winery/casino to the south. The driveway is very, very steep and borderline dangerous in winter. The beds were absolutely awful. Calling them "hard as a rock" is an insult to rock beds. I spent the entire three nights sleeping in the chair you see in the master bedroom.
Owner response:We regret that this renter found our beds uncomfortable. It is true that the master bedroom bed is firm. However, there are two other bedrooms to choose from. With respect to the driveway, since it very rarely snows and "sticks" in the Sedona area, the driveway may be steep, but is not dangerous.

The Casa had everything we needed and then some for our stay. The night stars are amazing on the the patio. It was also a great place to relax with a glass of wine and a good book.We had the perfect place to relax after busy days in Sedona, Jerome and Flagstaff. The kitchen is wonderful and well stocked with spices for cooking. We had alot of fun playing pool in the Rec room. Our time here ended too soon. Hope to come back for another visit

This house is really beautiful and well-located for lots of day trips (although it's hard to tear yourself away from the patio). There was more than ample space and privacy for our multi-generational family vacation. The three year old among us loved moving pebbles in his trucks and hiking behind the house. The adults loved the relaxing, welcoming atmosphere, the well-equipped kitchen, quiet meals on the patio and in the dining room, comfortable beds, and the pool table. All in all, it was perfect!

The Casa del Hombre Pequeno has everything you could want for a comfortable stay in the Sedona area. The Casa is a spacious quality built and attractively furnished home high on a hill with total privacy. After days spent out shopping and sightseeing around Sedona, we were anxious to get back each evening to the quiet and peaceful solitude of the Casa. The Casa proved to be the perfect place for us to recharge our batteries with a relaxing and rejuvenating couple's getaway "far from the madding crowd". We hope to return there as soon as possible.

Very comfortable, ideal layout for multi-age family. Beds for 8 (not sleeper sofa's, although the house has those as well), actual matresses! How nice to be able to prepare meals and find spices and such for us to "borrow". It had all the comforts of home - more actually. We were sorry to go.
