** ECONOMY BUSTER SPECIAL UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE - $1000/WEEK ** This house was built in 2003, professionally decorated, with tropical furniture, window coverings, and new bamboo laminate flooring. Everything in the house is ready to enjoy. Our deep-water boat dock can accommodate up to a fifty-foot boat. We are located just down the street from beautiful Sombrero Beach, one of the few true beaches in the Florida Keys. We are on the Ocean Side so you can be Offshore Fishing or on the reefs diving within a few short miles. Marathon is the Sportsfishing Capital of the World!!! You can get away from it all but yet still walk to shopping. You can even fly in to the Marathon Airport.
You can wake up with coffee on the back deck watching the iguanas soaking up the sun and end the day with frozen drinks as you watch the setting sun. The decor is tropical themed with all the modern conveniences. Every room has brand new furniture with Satellite TVs, and DVD players.
Select from one of three beautifully decorated bedrooms to suit your comfort and taste. "The Royal Palm Room" has plantation-style furnishings, Caribbean inspired colors, and a king-size bed. "The Mango Room" has luxurious bedding with island flair and a queen-size bed. "The Kiwi Room" is just plain fun with its bright and lively colors. Kids love this room with its sleigh bed and trundle. If more sleeping space is needed then just open up the deluxe queen sleeper sofa.
You can prepare a favorite meal in the fully-equipped, open-design kitchen and enjoy it over looking the water either out on the open deck or inside a lovely enclosed screened porch. You can always come inside and dine in air-conditioned comfort in the pineapple motif dining room.
The location is one of the most desirable with less than a mile to Sombrero Beach. Here you can sit and enjoy watching the children at the playground or take part in a friendly game of volleyball. The park, which was recently renovated, is absolutely beautiful with showers, restrooms, covered pavilions, nature paths, and a sandy beach. A walk of equal distance in the opposite direction brings you to all the shopping that you require, from supermarkets to island boutiques.
The location is great for boating as well. We are on the Ocean side so access to the reef is just a few short miles away. Marathon has the largest continuous live coral reef system in the Florida Keys, the only coral reef in the continental United States. Just past the reef lies some of the best Offshore Fishing in the world! Try for some big trophy fish such as sailfish, dolphin, Wahoo, or tuna. If the bay is more to you’re to your liking then you will enjoy the protected water all the way to the gulf.
We are just two miles from the famous Seven-Mile Bridge, one of the most famous landmarks in the Florida Keys. You can swim with the Dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center on nearby Grassy Key. You can take a walk to the Museum of Natural History of the Florida Keys and the adjoining children’s museum. Here you can view pre-Columbian and prehistoric Bahamian artifacts. You can even board a miniature train and visit historic Pigeon Key, a major railroad workers’ encampment during the construction of the famous Seven Mile Bridge. Not enough to do? Well it is only a 50-mile drive to Key West!
Whether you are planning an action packed week or looking for a quiet get away this home will fit all your needs for a great vacation. Enjoy your stay and your Florida Keys experience.

This property was exactly what we were looking for and more! Well furnished and a very nice, clean home. As soon as we set foot inside we were incredibly comfortable and it truly felt like a home away from home. All of the amenities were as described if not better. Easily slept the 6 that we had with us and the kitchen made preparing meals a breeze. There was plenty of parking for us and since the house itself was on the 2nd floor, the 1st floor made a great shaded spot to just hangout and relax. The dockage was ideal for us, it handled our 25' boat with ease and the dock itself was clean and in very good condition. Pilings were clean and barnacle/mussel free, freshwater to clean everything was right around the corner. The fishing was incredible, despite it being windy and rough we absolutely killed the mahi while we were down there! I'd like to thank the owner that we did business with, everything went smooth and was perfect! We will be doing it again next year!!

May 3-10 2008 Very nice accomodations , Neatly maintained ,can easily work with multiple guests. Well supplied with all you would need for a relaxing time. Centrally located for trips to Key West, or northern parts of keys. Sombrero beach within easy walking distance. Well kept, and very friendly atmosphere if bringing family. Numerous activities to choose from: Fishing with guides, or charter boat rentals, snorkeling, gorgeous sunsets on Seven Mile bridge. Good choice of restaurants to suit your tastes, or a Publix and Winn Dixie if you want to stock up on your own supplies. Looking forward to return visits

We are the Guricks, Mick, Cathy, Kendy, Zach, & Mitch & Blair & Jen. It was another great family trip! We went out in the boats a lot to snorkel & fish. The boys caught some Mahi Mahi & Tuna & we ate it for dinner each night! Made sure to make it to Burdines tons, we went 4 times!! You should go! The fries are TO DIE FOR! Get at least 2 baskets & crush them with some beer. Went snorkeling at Sombrero Beach & the "VIZ" was great. Saw tons of fish after Dad got in the boat & threw squid into the water to attract the fish! Thanks for the fun!!

We love spending time in the Keys and we were very happy spending this week here! We had the most fun in the Dry Tortugas. We snorkeled around the whole island & saw the fort. We also went to Key West for a day to explore. We went fishing but had no luck, but we had fun anyways when we ended up in a school of dolphin. We saw 3 iguanas & 1 huge crab in the backyard. We had a LOT of FUN! THANK YOU!
