Second time renting this property. Stayed there for a week. Great location to see all of keys, enjoy watersports, dining, etc. 3 bedrooms a plus, with option of pull out bed in living room Property is well maintained with all the amenities you need for a family vacation. Didn't bring our boat but dock can safely handle large or small craft. Beach access to Sombrero is a definite plus, with a well maintained family friendly setting to enjoy beach and swimming.

We had been looking for a beach front rather than canal vacation home. Then this one seemed to jump out at us, as the price was excellent and the accomodations looked very nice. Well we weren't disappointed! The reasonable price made it affordable to rent a boat, which we could have never done with a beach front rental. The flexibility of both covered & uncovered patio was great. We enjoyed grilling almost every evening and just relaxing...even enjoyed an evening of games from their "game" cabinet. It was very clean & met all our needs; wonderful sheets! The location, close to grocery stores, beach, restaurants couldn't be beat! We also enjoyed a few hours at near by Crane Point. Key West is only an hour drive away for when you want to stroll the stores, take in some history or just people watch. Another huge plus was the owner communication. Some rentals we checked out it was like pulling teeth to get information. This owner was great. Book here, you won't be sorry!

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. It was truly a bit of paradise! This property couldn't have been a better fit for my husband and I and our four friends. It was our first official vacaton away from children and the stresses of work~ and it was PERFECT! We enjoyed the property, location and many local attractions. The bedrooms were charming, beds comfortable and the place was very clean and well kept, just as the pictures show. We spent a lot of our time out on the covered patio, taking use of the blender and having ourselves a few Margaritas. :) We were out on the boat almost every day while there and were eager to use the fillet station to clean up our day's catch. Sombero Beach Rd was great for running with the walking path to town and the GORGEOUS beach. We got our daily exercise and found entertainment on both ends of the road. I did a lot of price comparisons in the entire Keys and by far, this place was beyond our expecations for the price! My husband is not one to usually go back to a vacation spot if he has been there once already, but this vacation must have really made an impact on him because he is already talking about retiring and buying a boat to get back to the Keys! Thank you for such an unforgettable vacation! We hope to make it back there again soon!!

This property was exactly what we were looking for and more! Well furnished and a very nice, clean home. As soon as we set foot inside we were incredibly comfortable and it truly felt like a home away from home. All of the amenities were as described if not better. Easily slept the 6 that we had with us and the kitchen made preparing meals a breeze. There was plenty of parking for us and since the house itself was on the 2nd floor, the 1st floor made a great shaded spot to just hangout and relax. The dockage was ideal for us, it handled our 25' boat with ease and the dock itself was clean and in very good condition. Pilings were clean and barnacle/mussel free, freshwater to clean everything was right around the corner. The fishing was incredible, despite it being windy and rough we absolutely killed the mahi while we were down there! I'd like to thank the owner that we did business with, everything went smooth and was perfect! We will be doing it again next year!!

May 3-10 2008 Very nice accomodations , Neatly maintained ,can easily work with multiple guests. Well supplied with all you would need for a relaxing time. Centrally located for trips to Key West, or northern parts of keys. Sombrero beach within easy walking distance. Well kept, and very friendly atmosphere if bringing family. Numerous activities to choose from: Fishing with guides, or charter boat rentals, snorkeling, gorgeous sunsets on Seven Mile bridge. Good choice of restaurants to suit your tastes, or a Publix and Winn Dixie if you want to stock up on your own supplies. Looking forward to return visits

We swam at Sombrero Beach at the end of your street numerous times because it was walking distance! Your home is so well equipped & beautifully maintained. We loved the bamboo flooring! We relaxed on the dock, deck & porch every night with the BBQ going from our daily catch!! Thanks again for a fabulous vacation & we WILL be back!!!

We are the Guricks, Mick, Cathy, Kendy, Zach, & Mitch & Blair & Jen. It was another great family trip! We went out in the boats a lot to snorkel & fish. The boys caught some Mahi Mahi & Tuna & we ate it for dinner each night! Made sure to make it to Burdines tons, we went 4 times!! You should go! The fries are TO DIE FOR! Get at least 2 baskets & crush them with some beer. Went snorkeling at Sombrero Beach & the "VIZ" was great. Saw tons of fish after Dad got in the boat & threw squid into the water to attract the fish! Thanks for the fun!!

We love spending time in the Keys and we were very happy spending this week here! We had the most fun in the Dry Tortugas. We snorkeled around the whole island & saw the fort. We also went to Key West for a day to explore. We went fishing but had no luck, but we had fun anyways when we ended up in a school of dolphin. We saw 3 iguanas & 1 huge crab in the backyard. We had a LOT of FUN! THANK YOU!

Very nice house - 2 days of cloudy weather thanks to Tropical Storm Alberto. Had a great time at the Dolphin Research Center. Kids got to get in the water & touch dolphins($100 each)& it was great!!! Had picture taken while being kissed by a dolphin! Lots of cool fish on the reef. Great meal at Bentley's in Islamorada!

The house was great! All five of us spent a lot of time on the dock and porch. The fishing was pretty nice & we caught a few keepers(Snappers & Sheepshead). It was really windy the first days we went on our boat and explored the area! The snorkeling was beautiful! We couldn't get enough of feeding the fish Cheeze-Itz! The fish were all colorful and nice to us.

February 25, 2006 - Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Marathon and staying at your home only enhanced the experience! What a great anchor to many daily "tourist travels". Comfortable, homey, stylish, and well equipped! Too bad I can't pack it up! Myself & my daughter (24 years old) also enjoyed watching the iguanas. Thank you for a great vacation place!!

My family and I spent a week at this house in Feb. 2006. We were a family of 3 adults and 2 young children, ages 2 and 1. The house is a great central location for exploring the Keys. The description of the house and the pictures do not lie. The rooms are even nicer than in the pictures! This was a great house for us--close to a beautiful beach and all the conveniences of Marathon.
