  Our stay at Tropical Breeze was very pleasant and relaxing. The location is superb and we loved the private path to the beach. This studio comes with several extra touches that make it special: coffee and chocolates on hand at our arrival, great beach chairs and other beach essentials there for our use, the washer and dryer right outside the door, and a beautiful little private lanai. We booked this place somewhat at the last minute, and we were very pleased with the prompt responses to our requests for information. The pictures of the property and the surroundings are quite accurate, and everything was clean and well-maintained. It was clear that this studio gets careful attention. We would be happy to recommend it to others, and we actually already have!

  This condo is described perfectly. It really is a good deal. The bed was comfortable, the location was quiet yet close to the (private) beach entrance and to a small grocery market. And had nice extra amenities such as beach chairs, small cooler, wicker beach mats, lots of beach towels, and assorted bathroom sundries (lotion, etc). The condo was clean and well-maintained. Tons of shelves, drawers and closet space. We did not use the washer/dryer or the grill, so can't comment other than to say they do exist. It's a small little kitchenette which was perfect for our needs, but if you're someone that likes to cook dinner every night and want your counter space etc, this might not be for you. But it was fully functional, with toaster oven and hot plate and microwave. We had a great time here! So thanks Joanie!

  Enjoyed a very relaxing break. Very clean, private and comfortable accommodation. Beautiful garden setting to read and have BBQ. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Just a few steps to the beach via a private lawn lane - lovely! Thank you for a wonderful holiday - we will be back!

  The studio, was very spacious, with lovely tropical decor and furniture. Comfortable bed, many built in drawers. The bathroom had a huge shower and lots of extra towels. Washer & dryer onsite. A very large private yard, with outdoor table, umbrella and chairs. Easy parking and a very short walk (no busy streets to cross), to Kailua beach, park & small store. Recommend this studio for adults.

  My husband and I had a great time staying with Joanie in April. The unit is lovely and clean and has all of the amenities you need, including your own washer and dryer. Joanie is an absolute delight. The location cannot be beat. A few steps and you are on GORGEOUS Kailua beach! It was a wonderful stay which we enjoyed so much that we are heading back in November!

  This guest suite is truly a little piece of paradise! This studio is literally steps to one of the best beaches in the world. A real bonus is falling asleep at night to the sounds of the surf and palm trees rustling. Everything needed for a comfortable stay of any length is in the studio. There is a well equipped kitchen with a full size fridge and lots of useful appliances, a huge bathroom with walk in shower and lots of hot water. The main room features a very comfortable bed and sitting area. Outside the back door is a private patio and just beyond, a washer and dryer. Even boogie boards, beach chairs and towels are provided. As well, there's a barbeque in the garden. Only a block away is a charming general store which serves speciality coffees. Their deli counter is a reliable choice for a last minute lunch or dinner. As well, the store stocks a wonderful variety of everyday products as well as gourmet items and gifts. There is even an extensive selection of wines. The neighborhood is safe and people are friendly. To be quite honest, I put off doing this review because we don't want too many people booking in so that we can't get the time we want when we come back! Thanks, Joni, for a most wonderful 2 week Christmas holiday, 2011!

  We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful place. Joanie was kind, friendly and helpful. The studio was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The location was fantastic. Just a few minutes walk to a stunning beach. We have lovely memories of our time there ande hope to return one day.

  My wife and I found this place spot on as advertised. The host was very pleasant and gave us complete privacy, but yet we felt if anything was needed, they would of been there for us. As far as the listing photos were concerned. They really don't do the place justice. The pics are nice but seeing it in person is better. It was very clean and had everything there that we would of needed to just move in and set up house, sort to speak. Now this next item was important for me. We felt completely safe and found the home to be in an INCREDIBLY safe and affluent neighborhood. The location is just as short walk to the beach, corner store and an excellent pizza house. Would I recommend this listing to anyone? ABSOLUTELY.

  We spent 5 nights in the Tropical Breeze and enjoyed every minute of it. The studio has a great sitting area to go along with the bed. We felt we had plenty of space and the nice touch of a full size refrigerator. The bathroom and shower are great size. The sitting area right outside the door was very relaxing. It was also very private from the main house. We never felt like we were intruding on the daily activities of the owners and their activities went completely unnoticed by us, even when we sat outside and read all day. Beach access could not be better, shoes not even required as it only takes about 10 steps on pavement. Beach chairs, boogie boards and towels were provided too. Access to Kailua Beach Park and the market is second-to-none. Plus the family pool is great for a refreshing dip without the need to rinse the salt off after. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, no need to look any further. We certainly hope it will be available next time we are coming to windward Oahu. Mahalo Joanie!

  We stayed at this studio for 2 weeks and enjoyed it the whole time. The bathroom has a wonderful walk in shower. The bed was comfortable. It has a closet! Many of the rentals don't. The pool is beautiful. Easy to access the beach. We were treated very well. It feels very private.
