Oceans of Amelia is located at the north end of Fernandina Beach and is a great location, minutes from the quaint town of Fernandina. Fernandina hosts great shopping and restaurants.
Covered parking. Private balcony. This first floor unit is convenient to the elevator or take the one flight of steps directly to the beach or the pool. We are literally 20 STEPS to the beach. So easy to run back to the unit for more beverages...don't forget to rinse your feet.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed and large flat screen TV. The second bedroom has twin beds and a TV. The living area has a sleeper queen-size bed and flat screen TV with digital cable featuring On Demand programming and VHS/DVD player. Remodeled kitchen is big and well equipped. Just returned from almost a week's stay here with my "Golden Girl" girlfriends from college. It was wonderful. The place was immaculately clean and everything was in order. Beautifully decorated. The location was ideal ... they're not kidding when they say "20 steps to the beach." Only two criticisms. The balcony was very small and there wasn't enough room for all of us to get out there at one time (4 of us) and the "directions" for the remote controls, introductory guest book, info on local sites, etc. were stashed away in the video/DVD drawer in the kitchen. We didn't find them until the day we left. Maybe these need to be placed on the coffee table in the living room. All in all a wonderful experience. We are considering another trip next fall and will definitely try to stay here.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

My sister and I loved this condo. It has been carefully refurbished and decorated with charm and comfort. The photos do not disappoint at all, which I find unusual in web photos. I would stay here again in a minute. Everything was clean and neat as a pin, the kitchen had everything we needed - and is quite large. A family would be very comfortable here. We happened to have 2 sunny days and a full moon, so sitting on the balcony was a particular pleasure. The only thing to note is that the balcony is just above the entrance to the beach - very convenient, but not especially private, if that matters to a renter. We rather enjoyed others' comings and goings. I would definitely recommend this property.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities.
