Great Week at the Beach!

We stayed in this unit May 29 - June 4, 2011. We had an amazing week at Destin West! The condo was beautifully furnished and larger than many other places we had stayed in the Destin/Ft Walton area. It's location within the complex was extremely convenient for accessing all of the amenities - the beach, the pools, and the weight room were all easy to get to. The amenities and grounds of Destin West were very well maintained and never felt crowded. We especially enjoyed walking to the Ramada next door to use their facilities, and to the CrabTrab at night for dinner. We had a great week in a great condo-Denise, the owner was very easy to work with during the booking process. We will definitely be back!

We have waverunners, kayaks and water bikes available for rental on the beach. Our beach also offers the only "Beach Massage" on the island. What a way to spend a vacation! Great for Families with Toddlers

My husband and I wanted to take out 18 month old for her 1st trip to the beach. Condo was clean, well equipped and perfect. The bunk bed room is just the right size to fit a pack-n-play for a baby to sleep in with a louver door so you can still hear them with the door closed. The balcony had bars that she couldnt slip through. The beach was close enough we could easily carry all our stuff and not be tired. There is a splash garden and a baby pool. There is a small playground at the restaurants within walking distance on the beach. They also provided a beach umbrella if needed. The Gulf Breeze Zoo was great also. Condo owners checked in with us to be sure we had everything we needed. We well be back soon

We truly enjoyed our visit to Destin West. We have been traveling to the Destin area for years and this was our 1st trip to Destin West, but won't be our last. The owners were friendly and easy to work with. I would feel confident suggesting this unit to friends and family.

My husband and I absolutely love staying at this condo and have been for the past several years for Labor Day Holiday weekend. It has just become tradition for us!!! This condo has everthing you'll need and the beaches are beautiful. You are within walking distance to restuarants and fun stuff for the kids to do and Destin is just a short drive away. However, this past Labor Day we only moved our vehicle once. You will not find a better owner than Denise. She always makes things so stress free when planning our little get-aways! Our year is not complete until we get to "our" little condo! We love it here!!! Carolyn & Ron

My husband and I consider this condo "our" condo!! We have rented this same condo from Denise for Labor Day weekend for the last several years. We absolutely love it here!! It feels so much like home to us and we always hate to leave!!! This condo has everything you need for a great family get away or just the two of you. We stayed this past Labor Day and once we were here we only moved our vehicle one time! So many things to do and restaurants within walking distance. And the beach is just BEAUTIFUL!!!! You will not find a better owner than Denise! She is extremely helpful and always makes the transaction smooth and stress free! We absolutely adore her. NO OIL! Perfect beaches. Great place to stay. The pool and Lazy river was a huge bonus. The complex was very clean. The covered parking was a plus! We had plenty of room for the four of us. We will be back.

Great Family Getaway

We are staying here now and are having a great time... The kids are loving it. Beach is great (no oil/tar) and no way for them to get bored with all the pool options to choose from. Though, we (mom and dad) will need a vacation now to recuperate from trying to keep up with the kids all week... :) The unit was very clean and in great shape. Really enjoying our stay. Owner very responsive too... We had one small issue and emailed the owner one morning (just as an FYI for handling by staff when we left), and, it was taken care of by that afternoon.

Our Trip was fantastic! We relished eating at Captin Dave's on the Gulf and Nick's seafood. We enjoyed playing Goofy Golf and eating at Joes & Eddies. We went fishing and rode around the bay and bayous in a fishing boat. We recommend the kids korney and the Tracks. Taking a trip to Seaside, we found a town that is worth a visit. You can receive Italian Ice Cream Gelatto. The Waffle House was very good. It was great to have grandfather visit us here. Have fun!

Our Florida Winter Vacation-Rudy, Michael, Alexander, Nancy and Hayden from Elgin, IL. We had a great time away from the snow back home. Lots of places to eat although kids were obssesed with the Waffle House. Kids loved fishing with Uncle Don and look forward to coming back when it warms up so they can actually catch fish. Fudpuckers is always a must to see the alligators and Gulfarium never gives up! Floyd's next store is by far the shrimp spot! We look forward to coming back again in summer. Thanks again for the wonderful stay in this perfect location.

My husband and I brought our 3 kids to Ft Walton for the first time this year and we had a blast. We stayed for an entire week and didn't want to leave. The condo was so nice and clean and had everything we needed to make us feel at home. The resort has so much to offer that kids never had a dull moment and the beach was beautiful! We also loved that we had some much to do without ever having to get into our car. The kids also loved the fact that we were able to see so many dolphins from the beach and pier. The owners were so great to work with and I would recommend there condos and this resort to anyone. We are already planning our trip back here next summer.

Great condo, complex and owners....our 2 year old and 4 year old had a blast at the beach and pools. The owners are wonderful to work with - we had a small issue while we were there and we called the owner and she took care of it IMMEDIATELY!!!! We are already planning a return visit next year :-)

This condo was perfect for our family - we have a 3 year old and an 8 month old. It was nicely decorated and clean and in a great area - within walking distance to wonderful family friendly restaurants. There are so many pools to choose from and the beach is huge and beautiful. A perfect get-away, and an easy, seamless rental experience!

Unit #209 May 21, 2005, "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the condo. It was so nice to have a complete kitchen & washer/dryer when traveling with the kids. We felt rigt at home in this beautifully decorated condo. Everything was comfortable and our kids loved haveing access to 3 different resort pools & a short walk acreoss the boardwalk to the beach. Beaches were incredible. We will definitely come back to this part of Florida again. A great family destination."
