Come stay on a tropical island in a truly tropical-style luxury home. The adventure begins with a 20 minute boat ride from the mainland transporting you to a unique vacation experience; 'island time'. Once on the island, the pace of life slows . There is time for the finer things of life and the Coral Reef is the perfect house to experience this relaxed pace and rejuvenate the mind and spirit.
Our home was designed and built with island living in mind. The Coral Reef is ideal for extended families or a 2 family group.We have 2 master bedroom suites and the house has a private bathroom for all four bedrooms! The generous verandas, decks, and patio extend the living space seamlessly to the tropical garden; 'North Captiva'. Sunrises and sunsets as viewed from the decks, verandas are the perfect punctuation to a day 'on island'.
Complete with all the luxuries and more than one would expect of a first class vacation home. We supply a computer and printer with wireless DSL internet access if you prefer to bring your own computer. We just recently added unlimited long distance wired phone service for use by our guests. We are constantly upgrading our amenities. Come stay in our island villa with friends and family and I promise you will feel at home during your stay and rejuvenated when you leave.

- Deck/Patio: The pool and BBQ grill are part of a large tumbled marble patio with cushioned patio furniture and 2 dining/game tables. Sit in the sun or in the shade with 2 ceiling fans to keep you cool even on the hottest days.
- Balcony: The Coral reef has several verandas! My favorite is directly accessible through french doors from the kitchen with ocean view. It has a dining table to enjoy meals at and several Adirondack chairs to enjoy the sunsets over the gulf.

- Ocean View: The Coral Reef has wonderful views from almost every window and balcony. You look out over the nature preserve and the ocean.

THe most unique benefit of staying at the Coral Reef is R&R. Rest and relaxation mixed with just the right amount of discovery and socializing. Away from it all but still have great restaurants to visit and more sea shells than you will ever be able to bring home. With no street lights you can see the stars and enjoy the moon traveling across the sky. It is just an amazing experience we call "Island Time"

My wife Diane and I built our home in paradise back in 2004 and 2005. It has been our pleasure to share it with a number of guests over the last 3 years. We love North Captiva and it is great to have others come out and enjoy the island also. We live in Chicago and one day, when we retire we hope to be able to spend more time on Island.
