Situated on 1.5 acres, the Cottage is located at the head of the historic fishing village of Peggy's Cove. Built by a resident fisherman in the early 1900's, the cottage was fully renovated in 2001. Oak hardwood floors and antique furnishings accentuate each room. A newly applianced, well-stocked kitchen invites the creation of culinary delights. Individual room thermostats and ceiling fans allow temperature settings of personal preference. A wrap around deck with ramped access offers views of the famous lighthouse, fishermen hauling their catches, glacier-marked landscape, spectacular sunrises and sunsets, star-filled skies, and the Atlantic Ocean.
The Cove and its surrounding area, preserved by the Canadian Government, are popular locations for photography, painting, and sketching with many art galleries and craft shops nearby. Enjoy the warmth and hospitality of the local people.

July-August-$900/wk for 2 guests, $1150 for 3-4 guests...June + September-$800/
wk for 2, $1050 for 3-4...October-$700/wk for 2, $850 for 3-4.
Weekly cleaning fee of $100 not included in rental fee. Payment by credit
card only. Keys forwarded upon receipt of final payment. Refunds given on
cancellations minus a $50 cancellation fee up to 30 days prior
to start of rental period. Utilities included; long distance
telephone charges paid by renters.

One of the nicest perks about this cottage is the crabbing, fishing and swimming spot in the back of this cottage. We spent days crabbing and even saw a young lobster by a rock. The water is crystal clear and hard to resist to go for a dip. Dee-Dee's ice cream next door is a must! We enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets here at Peggy's Cove along with the comfort this cottage provided. Thank you for being so thoughtful.

Our week here at Peggy's Cove was too short. The Cottage was a great place to base our travels from. It was all we had hoped for and more. The scenic beauty of this area made for some great photography. The people here couldn't have been friendlier. We look forward to returning to this special place very soon. The end of our second stay and it gets better all the time. July '07 we discovered the pleasures of Nova Scotia from the beautiful base of the Fisherman's Cottage and its creature comforts. This late August trip brings different weather patterns that color the Cove in a different way - so endless photo ops! We loved every moment, and feel tied to this magical spot and to the friendships made here.

We drove 2700 kilometers on trips in Nova Scotia but were always glad to return to this charming spot. We've loved every minute and just when the novelty of the fog was wearing off, out came the sunshine to add to the beauty of the place. Peggy's Cove is a delight!
