This lovely home features two very large suites with private baths, one with attached study. Both bedroom suites have king beds. The guest house with a private patio is fully equipped with a queen bed, tv, stereo, and mini refrigerator. The main house has a large fireplace in the living room with a 52" high definition TV. This home features a large private patio with overhead fan and barbeque with exquisite vistas of Santa Rosa mountains and the Mountain course on the 10th hole.

I love the location so close to the mountains and the historic hotel, La Quinta Resort and Spa. The lushly landscaped grounds are magnificient and the activities are endless! The weather seems to always be perfect. The desert nights put on a show of bright stars and balmy breezes. The days are filled with golfing, tennis, swimming, hiking, biking and exploring different restaurants. I love to ride horses and played polo for years. So I spend much of my time at the Eldorado Polo Club riding and watching polo matches.

The desert has always held a special fascination with me and I played with the notion of buying a home someday there. An opportunity came up and I purchased "Casa Del Sol", which means "House of the Sun" in Spanish. The little village of La Quinta and the surrounding hiking, biking trails, golf and tennis are wonderful attractions. The property listing and photos accurately reflected the rental unit. In fact we felt the place was larger and met our needs to a tee. Owner was very helpful in answering questions and a very descriptive booklet was in the unit that provided information on the property and also restaurant recommendations as well as directions to the Airport etc. We go to Palm Springs to enjoy the great weather and play some golf. However we discovered from a friend who now spends winters in Palm Springs, Barego Springs and The Thousand Palms Oasis. I would highly recommend the Oasis. In fact, when I return I plan to visit several other Oasis's. The couples who joined us on the trip felt as we did and all of us would recommend this property to a friend or relative. I look forward to a return visit.

Roomy and attractive with all the amenities needed. Well maintained and very clean. Property owner available by phone and helpful. Great location at our favorite location in the Palm Spring-La Quinta area. Roll out of bed and take a few steps to the clubhouse or sit on the patio with a sweeping vista of the tenth tee and fairway and mountains. Two pools a few steps away and great tennis courts. Great value. We have recommended this house to friends and relatives and will go back ourselves. The restaurants and coffee shop in the resort are excellent and within a seven minute stroll. Or, have a fine lunch with stunning view a few steps from the house in the golf clubhouse. You could spend your whole vacation in the resort and never get in a car.

What a perfect setting!Casa del Sol was a great location for all the activities are family enjoys. We could relax by the pool and jacuzzi. Tennis and golf across the street. Definitely plan to return again.

My family spent part of February and March at Casa Del Sol. My family plays polo at the Eldorado Polo Club so we were very busy with our horses and tournaments. The house was just 5 minutes from the club and the accomodations were wonderful! Restaurants close by, tennis, and swimming were all enjoyed by the family. Thanks!

We left a rainy Seattle day in November and found La Quinta in California to be a balmy 70 degrees and sunny! We spent a week at Casa Del Sol and played golf, tennis and swam in the refreshing pools. We also pampered ourselves at the La Quinta Spa with facials and massages. What a wonderful get-away!
