Nature loving and family friendly home has beautiful views of the Stanislaus National Forest on two levels. This house borders the forest, so the views are unimpeded. Close to skiing, boating, swimming, hiking and dining. Yosemite National Park is a 90 minute drive. Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge ski resort are less than 30 minutes away. Twain Harte restaurants and grocery/deli/variety shops are 10 minutes away.
Inside? Vaulted ceilings, a spacious gas kitchen, and a wood burning stove on the main floor offer a great combination of social space and private nestling for couples, families, and friendly get togethers of all ages. A newly remodeled full bathroom and 2 bedrooms (one with 2 full beds, and another with 2 bunk beds) adjoin the main floor living area.
Private space within a space? Downstairs. The lower Master Bedroom is huge - it has 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds at the opposite end, and a master bathroom with a six foot jetted tub. Both levels have decks and interior views facing the forest.
Check this out! The house electricity is powered by the sun. Grid tied solar electric panels feed a back up system that powers most of the house for up to a whole day during winter grid failures! Tankless, endless "on demand" hot water, propane fueled cooking and laundry facilities, and new carpet are some of the other features we've recently added.
Still connected to civilization though, if you want to be.. this getaway home also has satellite HDTV, broadband internet, air-conditioning, and a 2 car garage. In addition to the wood stove, the house is also heated by a forced air gas furnace and has auxilliary electric base board radiators for quick warm-ups in winter.

Additional per person charges may apply to parties of more than 5.
