This beautiful cedar home is great for family gatherings. With four bedrooms that sleep nine, one hide-a-bed and two futons to sleep more, and 2500 square feet there is plenty of room.
After a day of skiing or golfing you can relax in the jetted tub or take the crew to the hot springs. We are within walking distance of the world-famous Fairmont Hot Springs, Canada's largest, odorless, natural, hot springs and a hot springs water fall that you can swim under.
Walk to Mountainside Golf Course or Riverside Golf course (voted 1998 Best Canadian Golf Resort by Golf Resort Owners Association) or there are 27 other golf courses within the Columbia Valley to choose from.
Fairmont's own ski resort is a ten-minute drive and Panorama Ski resort is 45 minutes away. Lake Louise, Fernie, Sunshine, Golden, and Kimberly Ski Resorts are all within a two-hour drive. Banff National Park and Kootenay National Park are adjacent to the valley and have many hiking and cross-country ski trails.
The area boasts many restaurants from fine dining to fast food, or buy your own groceries at the grocery store only three blocks away. Also available close by are video rentals, internet/coffee shop, souvenirs, etc.
Columbia Lake and Lake Windermere are 15 minutes away for boating, swimming and other water sports.

My family and I decided to have a long weekend away from home and found this great cabin for rent in Fairmont, B.C. The cabin was in a great location and had so much character. We were able to sleep 5 adults and 2 children only utilizing 3 of the 4 bedrooms. The kitchen was roomy and well equipped. This cabin also had a great sitting area where we could relax and hangout for the evening. The hot springs, grocery store and funtasia were all within walking distance. The scenery was great and the golf courses even better. Thanks for the wonderful weekend.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

June-September ........ $275/night, $1600/week. Christmas & New Years ..$1600/by the week only. See note below. All Other Dates ........$225/night, $1300/week. $250.00 security deposit required to hold reservation. NOTE: 3 day MINIMUM. Securit deposit is returned if there is no damages or excessive cleaning required. Taxes are included in prices quoted. Note: 2013 Christmas dates available are December 22rd-29th or December 30th-Jan 6th (some variation on dates is allowable - email for more details.)

Why the Owner Chose Fairmont Hot Springs:
We spent many years vacationing in this area when we saw this home our timeshare days were over. We love our cabin - especially the view. It is close to Fairmont Ski Hill where our kids learned to ski. We are walking distance to the Hot Springs - my favorite spot. We love this area! It has beaches, hot springs, hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, boating, golfing, etc, etc, etc.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our cabin is close to everything you need. We are centrally located and close to everything in town. The best thing about our cabin is the majestic mountain view. We love the view! But that isn't where it ends. The main floor is great for relaxing in front of the fire, big family dinners, playing games (we have several board games there) and enjoying the view. The family room downstairs has the cable tv and air hockey for the more rambunctious and a fire pit just outside the door.
