The penthouse was very comfortable for our group of 5, and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay in San Francisco. The location was fantastic for cable car, BART and excellent walking. Beds were comfortable, with TVs and Ipod friendly stereos available in most rooms. We appreciated the Modern coffee machine too.

My husband and family stayed at the Penthouse for Thanksgiving break, and it was our first time renting a home/condo while on vacation. And what a great experience. The home was beautiful - just like the pictures show. The bedrooms are all up stairs making it comfortable for those who want to stay up and for those who want to go to bed early! There are two full bathrooms - the one downstairs being my favorite with the awesome shower! There's access to the roof - with gas heaters and lots of seating. The house comes with lots of towels and two hairdryers. There are hotel sized shampoo and conditioners, but not enough for 6 people to share - and with no maid service, you should definitely bring your own stuff! The beds are so comfortable - I don't think I've had a better sleep while on vacation. The condo's kitchen is fully supplied with pots, pans, coffee maker (and grinder), toaster, etc. The gas stove is awesome! The location was perfect, close to the cable car pick up, close to Union Square / Nob Hill - everything you can walk to. It also felt very safe! When we visit San Francisco again, we'll be sure to check on the Penthouse's availability.

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Penthouse. We were a family of 5 (with young children), so having space and creature comforts were very important to us. The Penthouse certainly delivered! I personally loved the kitchen, as I have a great love for cooking and can appreciate the upper end appliances. Having an espresso machine was sheer delight in the mornings! We also really enjoyed the roof top deck, and wished that the weather would have allowed us to utilize this area more. Overall the Penthouse did have most of the things we needed and enjoy. It is a well maintained and cared for property. I appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail. It was comfortable and well located a few blocks from Union Square. I lived in San Francisco for many years, but I must admit, I am not in the loop on the good restaurants any longer. It could be very nice and useful if there were recommendations available. The only real minus was that the street noise levels at night can hamper a good sleep. This however was a minor issue that was far outweighed by all of the good things the Penthouse has to offer! We would most definitely like to stay here again! I also would like to thank Jennifer for being very accommodating, and thorough. It was a pleasure!

We rented this Penthouse for about 10 days as we prepared for our daughter & son-in-law's wedding. We wanted a place that felt like home and would provide a respite for us during this hectic time. This Penthouse met that criteria, and in many ways, exceeded it. It was beautifully appointed -- everything it promised to be and then some. We were welcomed by a complimentary bottle of our favorite chardonnay as we explored the beautiful kitchen -- top quality, from appliances to decorating. It appeared that the 1st floor bathroom had been recently remodeled/updated and it, too, was magnificent. The bedrooms were gorgeous and the beds were extremely comfortable. We also had easy access to the wonderful deck where we enjoyed lunches in the sunshine and dinners in the cool evenings using the 2 heat lamps. We were grateful to have access to the 3rd bedroom where we could use the owner's computer. In that room is a very comfortable Murphy bed which was used by the bride & her sister the night before the wedding. Since it is on the top floor, we were grateful to have the elevator for heavy luggage & various wedding materials. We were also glad to have use of the owner's garage as well as the street space in front of the garage. The owner's packet of information disclosed the caveat regarding the use of this street space, and it is good to pay attention to the conditions for moving your car at restricted times. We told the management company that we had only 1 disappointment, and it was a minor one that I believe will be addressed by them. We didn't have enough hangers for our clothes, so I found some from a generous dry cleaner down the street, and that settled that! And one last word of caution: If you are unaccustomed to the noises of city life or are a light sleeper, bringing a good set of ear plugs will solve that problem. The home, like so many in San Francisco, is close to a street that is busy & often noisy -- but it's all part of the San Francisco lifestyle, and staying at the Penthouse is an experience not to be missed!

The Penthouse is a beautiful getaway within the city. Several nights we just ordered dinner in as the accomodations were so pleasant (and we were so tired) and there are some great places that deliver. We ate terrific Chinese food on the roof! Several markets within 2 blocks had any other food/laundry items that we needed. We were close to subway, cable cars and buses.... truly a convenient location. Saturday night there were a few fireworks and "happy" people when the bars closed, but otherwise the city sounds were white noise. The beds were comfy and the the bathrooms ideal! Thanks for a wonderful haven after our daily adventures!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the penthouse condo near Union Square. The rooms were large, and the kitchen and baths were modern and very convenient. The garage parking was a lifesaver, and we traveled easily all over the city from this central location. We found everything to be as advertised, and the property was immaculate and very well decorated. I would recommend this property very highly, and we hope to stay there again on our next trip to the City.

We enjoyed our time in the condo. Three bedrooms and two full baths with a spacious kitchen. We stayed four days and had an easy time getting to all the great attractions. There's even a local car rental company about two blocks away! We rented a car for a day trip to Tiburon and it couldn't have been easier. The garage was a BIG asset, especially when friends came in from Sacremnto for the day and there was no street parking available.

Excellent choice for San Francisco. Beautiful unit (with parking!) located a few blocks from Union Square. Can't beat it for location, size, comfort, and convenience. We had 3 couples staying for the weekend and never felt crowded. Typical of San Francisco, the building is innocuous from the outside, but once in the unit, you are in a real luxury environment. The pictures on the website say it all. Everything was neat, clean, and thoughtful touches and amenities were everywhere. Even the computer was "on" and ready for internet use. The sundeck was a real plus, too. Rent with confidence. The owner's assistant, Libby, is very organized and thorough and makes the rental process a smooth and easy one.

The Penthouse is perfect for a group of five or six. We loved sitting on the roof deck and enjoying the gorgeous meticulous garden. The bathrooms, beds, linens, and furnishings are luxurious. Also, the location, garage, elevator and other special features make this penthouse the perfect vacation spot in the city. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful penthouse! It was impeccably clean, beautifully appointed, and VERY conveniently located. We walked to our friend's restaurant located in Union Square with no trouble at all! That said, don't feel like you have to go out to eat! As a culinary professional, what most impressed me with the penthouse was the kitchen & high quality appliances, which enabled us to whip up some wonderful meals right at "home"! And you honestly can't beat the price. My highest recommendation!

I stayed here with a few friends as a weekend getaway in SF. The condo is perfectly described being just a couple of blocks from Union Square. We walked to (my now favorite) restaurant, Campton Place, less than half a mile away and then walked around Union Square for some window shopping and cocktail hour enjoyment. The garage on-site parking is TRULY priceless, especially for SF. The desciption and photos do not lie nor embellish: The condo looks exactly as its represented in the photos. The property is immaculately maintained, and to be honest, a perfect SF experience with the convenience most hotels don't have (i.e. a full kitchen, onsite parking, rooftop terrace, working fireplace, space to entertain, FREE WiFi, dvd players, on and on). I will be recommending this place to everyone I know that heads into SF, and I can't wait to go back!! What a great find!!

Gorgeous condo, even better in person than I expected! Was looking for a place to spend a long weekend in SF, and location was key...this place fits the bill. One would be hard pressed to find a hotel room this nice, near this location for the same price- truly an exceptional value. All furnishings, fixtures, and appliances are top notch, and the rooftop deck was the icing on the cake...fantastic! I could have stayed longer- though I was just in for the weekend, I could have been comfortable here on an extended business trip. Either way...stay here...you won't be disappointed.

For 15 plus years my whole family has spend the weeked before Christmas in the city for shopping and fun around Union Square. This year we decided to try something different and stay in a private condo. We are glad we did, everyone thought it was far superior than staying in a hotel in multiple rooms on different floors. The location of the condo to Union Square was perfect and there were many good restaurants in the area. I had my whole family there and the size of the condo is something that is hard pressed to find in SF. The pictures depict the condo as it actual is and the parking space available is to die for in the City. The owners/representatives were wonderful to work with and we will definately come back next year.

My girlfriends and I spent a weekend at the Penthouse this Christmas season. We had a wonderful time. The condo is beautifully decorated and perfectly located for shopping and dining out. The garage is a big plus in San Francisco. We ended up wishing we had booked it for a longer period of time. We are looking forward to returning again next year.

Spent a long birthday/anniversary weekend with family and friends at the Penthouse. It is the perfect location for access to all San Francisco has to offer, and beautiful and comfortable as well. Where else are you going to find a 3 bedroom condo, with a garage, in the heart of San Francisco? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning again next year!

While we loved the unit (this was our second stay there), I will NEVER lease property from this owner again. They incorrectly accused us of damage to the hardwood floor in the kitchen (which we did not use) and charged us for repairs. It is ridiculous and I will NEVER stay in any of their properties again. Efforts to clear this up fell on deaf ears. The level of damage they accused us of would have been obvious and we would have reported it if it had happened during our stay.
Owner response:We have this home inspected both before and after each guest. The employee who inspects is very detailed and has been performing this job well for serveral years without any guests complaining. The floor scratches were severe and in multiple places, and very noticeable. The new floors in this home are Australian gum wood of high quality. This guest was adamant that he did not cause the damage, however, there were several people who shared the space and the damage was probably caused by some one else in the party. We provided this guest with pictures of the damage and a copy of the invoice for the work done. We treat all guests fairly and professionally.

Stayed here for a girl's night in June. The penthouse was better than I imagined. The place is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The kitchen had lots of appliances and was stocked with dishes so we were able to eat in one night. Also, the rooftop terrace was a cool place to hang out. Would definitely recommend staying here. Property matched the description - very pleasant, comfortable and easy to access. The contact person had also arranged / provided for all details well in advance with clear communication. Minor negative surprise upon arrival to find the gas heaters and grill on building's common roof deck were out of service / under repair when we arrived... so had to make alternative plans for the BBQ we had planned for one evening

WE stayed in the unit in June 2010, with 2 adults, a nanny, a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Overall this was the best accomodations we satyed in the USA and we are amazed at the price when compared to numerous other properties. If you want a warm, luxuriously appointed property that makes you feel like you are back in your own stylish home, this is the place for you. It really is fantastic. This property gets 5 stars and you could not possibly be disappointed if you stayed here.

We stayed at the Penthouse for a family get-together, 4-5 of us coming and going at various times. We were happy to see that the Penthouse matches the photos on the website, and as someone else said, probably even better. We were very comfortable. Kitchen appliances are great and bathrooms really nice. Chilly when we were there, but the outside deck would be fabulous in warm weather. Importantly, the location is so central--only a few blocks from Union Square and in a totally safe neighborhood. Parking is a very big plus if you have a car. We would definitely stay here again on another trip to SF.

My family stayed at the Penthouse for a week over the New Year and we had a wonderful time. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable for all of us. We walked or took the bus or a taxi everywhere we went and it was very convenient. There is so much to do within easy walking distance, which made it fun to go out shopping or to experience some of San Francisco's great restaurants. I would highly recommend this house for a great San Francisco experience!

We had a lovely stay in The Penthouse, it was comfortable, beautifully appointed and convenient. Bush street is a bit busy, but since it is a street with timed lights, the traffic flows instead of the stop and start noise. The beds were very comfortable with high thread count sheets which is so important for a good night sleep. There is a 24 hour market just across the street which is nice too. I highly recommend this property!

This condo was great for my small group of friends meeting up for a celebration from all over the country. Great walking location to Union Square shopping, Chinatown, North Beach. Since I was a local we were able to get around the city without the help or direction of a hotel concierge. The parking in the bldg was a huge bonus. The pictures were accurate of the accomdations and we were very happy with the comfort of the penthouse and the ability to relax on the rooftop deck. An overall great experience and place to stay in the city.

The Penthouse was delightful. This was a sister's get together - one from Germany, one from Michigan and one from Massachusetts. Two husbands tagged along. Location was outstanding, we walked to the Chinatown gates. Most impressive was the penthouse itself - beautiful furnishings - and the thought that went into the design and the amenities. Comfortable places to gather, beautiful dining area, comfy beds. Main floor shower a picture. Did have to get used to city noises at night, however. Would definitely go again, and recommend highly.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this property! We were in San Francisco for a long weekend and it was wonderful to come "home" to this gorgeous, clean condo every night. The pictures don't do it justice! There were 5 adults staying here-plenty of room. The kitchen was wonderful and the bathrooms were nicely done. The street noise was a bit noticeable, but nothing too disruptive. Convenient location to everything--and the garage came in handy when we rented a car for a day to drive the PCH 1. My only regret is that we didn't take advantage of the deck! I highly recommend this property!

What a wonderful home ~ we were so pleased with everything! We were traveling with my mother, my husband and two children. There was plenty of space so no one got on the other's nerves. The location is an easy walk to Powell Street and we rode the cable cars up and down constantly - the location was great and centrally located! The home is beautifully apportioned and we have already recommended it to our neighbors! Our family highly recommends this home (BTW ~ the photographs don't do it justice ~ even prettier in person)!
Owner response:Thank you Amy, my husband and I have worked hard to make our home comfortable for all. I appreciate your comments and am thrilled you enjoyed all aspects of our home and location. I agree with you in regards to the photo's. We will be working on this.

We had a wonderful stay in this cool part of town. There was plenty of space to stretch out and relax! From the beautiful entry way to the fully furnished kitchen, and of course the rooftop deck, we had a wonderful time. The big bonus was the secured garage for our rented minivan. Parking fees are so expensive in SF, so that was a big plus factored in. Quick note: before a night on the town, some local friends stopped by for a drink. Each remarked that this was an amazing penthouse.

Absolutely wonderful. I stayed with my wife and young daughter and had a wonderful time. Everything is new, wonderful appliances and lots of space in the kitchen. The roof deck was great. Location is great, we walked to the square, Russian Hill, and Fisherman's Wharf. Also I didn't relaize it until we got there but parking in San Francisco is a nightmare, having a garage made life so easy for both us and people coming to visit us.

The Bush Street flat is beautifully appointed and in a great location. We had a wonderful time with two of our adult children and their significant others. My husband and I will even consider staying there on our own as the rate compares favorably with some of the better hotels we have stayed in and you have much more space. Make sure that Jan has arranged for more than one set of keys if you have more than one couple. We did have some problems when we all took off in different directions and had only one key to get back into the building. I know you will have a great time. It really is beautiful and at the same time very comfortable. Also, one of our favorite SF restaurants is just around the corner (Fleur de Lis), very expensive, but a wonderful treat.
