Hal and Bev. We absolutely love your place . . . . It is Affordable which allows us to come to Maui and it means so much to us. We feel your unit is clean and very well stocked. We could not be happier with the accommodations and we see ourselves continued customers for many, many years to come. I can't think of a thing that we needed and couldn't find. We appreciate the care that you have shown in your unit by way of all you offer.

This was our first trip to Maui in April 2011 - An excellent trip it was! This property far exceeded our expectations. It was exceptionally well equipped (had more stuff than my kitchen), very well maintained & clean, the grounds were exceptionally well kept, friendly staff & people. Hal & Bev went beyond our expectations for all our questions (I had lots) - their help was very much appreciated, they went above & beyond their call of duty. We loved the older mature crowd that stayed there, it was wonderfully quiet. The Laundry facility was great & handly! We enjoyed the pools & BBQ's. It was a great place to stay & I would highly recommended to anyone. It was also very nice to have parking included with this property. We will stay again next time we return! We just returned from spending the month of March at this condo. Everything was just as promised and exactly like the photos. Although it is a studio condo it was very spacious and met our needs, in fact it exceeded out expectations. The grounds are meticulous, the pool was great and the laundry facilities were convenient. The weather was awesome and most days the temp was in the low 80's and the evenings cooled off a little. Even the tsunami of March 11 was a memorable experience!! We wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this condo to anyone. Beaches were great and several within 5-10 minutes of the unit. Grocery stores were close by. It was our first trip to Maui and enjoyed it immensely. Lots of great memories!!

Our Thanks to you-we had a great time at KBS(Like being at home to us as our oldest son lived ther in the 90's)The renovation work is amazing and the place looks great. We were again disappointed in the weather and water conditions(some VOG too).More flash floods(really disappointed in the up-country building and the way it is being done-oh well that is progress -I guess) The condo was in very good condition-with no problems.Mahalo for the leis and soap-what a Frannice gesture on your part.Thanks again-hope we can return again some day soon!

We stayed in Hal and Bev’s condo #142, Kihei Bay Surf from October 5 – 26, 2010. We were delightfully surprised when we arrived. Everything was in place as promised and was very clean and tidy. When we went there was some construction going on and Hal was up front with us about it. We really appreciated that he let us know before we got there. It really wasn’t that bad and Maui is such a beautiful Island it didn’t matter. Everything that we wanted or needed was in the unit for cooking or BBQing and there were lots of beach goodies (boogie boards, noodles, ice chest, beach chairs, beach mats). The TV and the internet worked great. Being a studio, you would think it would be really small, but actually we felt like we had lots of room and there was plenty of storage space. The bed was really comfy. The bathroom was clean and tidy and the tub and shower worked great. There was Lots of space to store your bathroom essentials. You don’t have an ocean view but when you look out your back door in the morning it was so nice to see Haleakala Mountain. The balconies were re-done in the construction and are very large and look over nice colorful foliage and the tennis courts. This unit was very quiet and we never experienced any loud noise at all. The pool, hot tub and BBQ area were great. We spent a lot of time there and met many great people. I never thought I would enjoy a hot tub in Maui, but it was great, especially towards evening. The beach across the street was a nice calm, shallow beach and a great place to take pictures of the sunset. Thanks Hal and Bev for sharing your home with us. Hal, I just wanted to let you know we had another great trip out to Maui. This was our first time out there when the whales were there, and they were saying it was a banner year for them. They are truly magnificent animals that are a joy to see. As always, it was great staying in your place. Thanks again. We bought a couple of oversized beach towels and left them there for future guests. Hopefully we will be able to make it out there again next year!

We were extremely pleased with your lovely unit in Maui. Location was excellent, the studio was spotlessly clean and had everything we would need. The toilet seat was broken on one side but not unusable. We would love to stay there again if we were to vacation in Maui. Thanks for having a homey and lovely place to vacation in.

Hi there, I have been wanting to write and thank you so much for renting me yourmauihometoo! I have been moving into my own place, working and getting registered for college this week. Busy, busy! Knowing that was all coming my direction having your apt. was a blessing as it made my transition much easier having a fully furnished home with all and them some of the necessary amenities I need. The unit is very functional and has a great location. The other tenants there were very friendly and courteous. I found VRBO through a co-worker who has stayed there and recommended it to me. I was very satisfied with my experience of not only my stay but with the ease of renting as well. I would and have recommend VRBO to several friend since, what a great sight for travelers to visit. Hello Bev and Hal We did spent a wonderful in time in Maui, maybe our best vacation. The studio was just great with all you need in, exactly like at home. It was very clean and the person who welcomed us was very kind and helpful. The studio is perfect, may be in the future you could think of changing your sofa, but it was not a problem for us. Thank you for the wine bottle, we appreciated it after a day of windsurfing. I don't know if we still be in French Polynesia next year but if it is the case I think we'll come back to your maui home. The manager was good but then there was nothing wrong so I didn't need to bother her. It was a very nice place to stay. I wouldn't change anything. Just got back from staying in this cute little condo. It was exactly as shown in the photos. It had everything I could imagine. I used the cooler when I tackled the Hana Hwy! Thanks for the use of that. It was comfy & clean. I had no problems with anything. Plus, a big thank you to the owners who communicated fantastic instructions, local information & directions! I'm finding not everyone is good about communication with their rental properties. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Hello,Hal and Bev I've stayed at 140,relaxed in homy, comfortable energy. Are those recipes your original? I could imagine you're cooking for your family and your two grandsons(?)are so happy...Kitchen facility is great! Yes, I enjoyed the sunset from the Whale Center. I was so touched! like I could feel something beautiful would happen tomorrow. was my last day in Maui so, like a gift from the nature of Maui. I had intended to write you last week after we returned home but work just got in the way! I want to tell you that we had a very lovely time. Your condo was great. You have decorated and appointed it nicely so that I felt like we were visiting in a home, not sterile like a hotel room. And you had so many extras - beach towels, chairs, mats, etc.; everything any one could need and more. I appreciated the cooler and ice pak. We did explore the island and picnicked several times. . . . The photos showed clearly what it looked like and it looked just like home! Also the price was very reasonable. And it was very conveniently located. We enjoyed the early morning walks on the beach and the sunset ones.

The place was really awesome. Clean, professionally managed, close to all the ocean, shopping complexes, and maui dive shop is just down on south kihei...We had a wonderful stay there. The price is perfect too!
