We stayed in the studio for four nights while exploring the Santa Fe area. It was our first trip to Georgia O"Keeffe country and we loved it! Each day we spent wandering and in the evening came back to our little home away from home to relax, enjoy a glass of wine on the patio and prepare our dinner. As serious cooks, it's important for our kitchens to be properly equipped and while it didn't have everything, we were able to make some fabulous meals. Only two complaints; I lost the coin toss and got to sleep on the pull out couch. It was o.k. but really, can anyone make a sofa-bed comfortable? And the barking dogs... I quickly got over that because if you want to be a part of the environment you have to roll with what goes on. If I'd wanted sterile and quiet I would have stayed in a chain motel, although that wouldn't necessarily guarantee that! This was perfectly perfect and I shall return, but next time, I get the bed!!! The listing was accurate for the studio, Harvey and Grace were available to offer guidance and a cooler when we needed one, I would definitely recommend this to others, you do need a car. We went to Abiquiu, historic downtown Santa Fe, the Georgia O'Keeffe museum, the plaza, Marble Brewery to check out the goings on in the Plaza and the Saturday market.... all worth it!

Quiet, convenient, private, scenic

What more could you ask? We stayed 5 nights in this spacious 1-bedroom casita, loved the views and the surroundings. Very convenient if you have a car -- 10 minutes to the Plaza, just off W Alameda. The listing was very accurate, the space clean and well-maintained. Very comfortable bed. Private patio, private entrance. Our only minor complaint was that the fridge was a bit noisy, but everything else was great. Have already recommended this rental to friends.

The studio was exactly as presented and we had no disappointments. It's located just a nice distance from downtown Santa Fe taking less than 15 minutes from door to parking anywhere in the city centre. Yet at night it's far enough out that the high desert night stars can be appreciated. We were never too hot or too cool in the studio and we found that Harvey and Graciela had provided us with plenty of bedclothes, towels and kitchen was fully appointed. We enjoyed the unit and location so much that we extended our plans and stayed longer!

My wife and I stayed at the " Studio " from Oct. 1-9, 2010 and we would highly recommend this wonderful little apt. to anyone. Very private, beautiful light-filled large 2-room apartment..It is very close to downtown[less then 10 min.] and away from the hustle and bustle when you want quiet.Great owners,all in all, a perfect place for a small group staying in Santa Fe.Also, they have a much larger place on property if you have more people.This review sounds like I was paid to write it, but really, we will stay there again when we go back[which will be fairly soon,since my son just moved there.] Try it,you'll like it.

New Mex--part 2 of our vacation

This 1-bedroom "casita" was just the right size/space for us. And its location is within easy driving distances to the sites & sounds of Santa Fe and the surrounding areas. We only had a couple of questions for the owners which were taken care of without any problems. Other than that, we didn't have any other contact with them; my husband and I just went about our daily activities. As for the unit itself: at first, the inner door to the main house was somewhat unnerving...it being locked from the owner's side--meaning they could, theoretically, come it at will. However, we had no problems with this; entries made by the owners were done while we were away. The decor of the casita befitted its southwestern locale. We love the adobe style and so this casita was just right! Other than a few tweaks here and there, we were pleased with our home-away-from-home!

The last day was very busy, and I got home late after shopping for all the last minute requests from home (sorry about all the bags and packaging I left behind). I was up until 2am trying to fit everything into my bags, and after a quick 1 hour sleep I got up at 3am to drive to Albuquerque. Needless to say I arrived in Shanghai very tired, and I am only now recovering from my jetlag. I would like to thank you for making me feel so welcome. I appreciated you taking me out to dinner the first night I arrived, and to the Folk Art Festival the next day. Santa Fe is a really beautiful town and your apartment was a perfect place to stay. Flowers on the table, a comfy bed, beautiful mountain views, fresh air, kind host. The casita has it all. And its far enough away from the plaza to be quiet and relaxing, yet close enough to it all( museums, restaurants, Canyon road) to be stimulating. We had a wonderful two weeks. The studio is spacious, tastefully decorated and has everything one could need. We are especially thankful for the stuffed toys you left on the sofa bed for our daughter. Your home is lovely, tranquil and serene filled with the fragrance of junipers and the chirping of birds. The occassional bunny sightings were a real treat!! We have a truly enjoyed this comfortable, restful casita. It is roomy, yet intimate and has southwest character without the usual predicable décor-we love it! This location is ideal in that we were close and convenient to all we love to do in Santa Fe and still we could return to quiet, open natural countryside. Hopefully we can return soon.

Harvey & Gracie, - What a wonderful place!! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. You've thought of everything we could need to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment is beautilly decorated( we love all the plants and flowers), very comfortably furnished and so clean and attractive, and the queen bed is heavenly. We slept so well (and napped) and endulged in its comfort! We would highly recommend staying here to anyone and hope we can again someday. it is convenient to everything in Santa Fe.
