Get up early in the morning, open the double glass siding doors to the screened porch and watch the sun rise while you drink your coffee or read the newspaper. Quiet and peaceful Pawleys is thought to be the first vacation location in the US as the rice plantation owners moved their families to the island to get away from malaria and the heat on the mainland. Pawleys Plantation is on an 865 acre land grant from the king of England.
Visit Charleston, Myrtle Beach, the quaint fishing port of Georgetown, watch the gators being fed at Huntington State Park (pass provided with rental),see Brookgreen Gardens, fish for bass, cat fish, and sun fish in the lakes on site , tennis on the 2 soft courts on site, go deep sea fishing out of Murrels Inlet just 10 miles north. Try fishing for flounder on the north end of the island or in the creek and there are 125 golf courses in the area to test your skill. Oh I completely fogot to mention the Pawleys Island beach and the two on site pools. So much to do and see and of course there are more sea food restaurants than you can visit in a month and they are all good.

This is the most WONDERFUL place to enjoy family and friends. The property is immaculate and the owners are warm and want to make sure that their guests are well taken care of. Will go again and again and again!

This is a wonderful villa and the owner is very caring and responsible. He makes renting and getting deposit refunds so easy. We want to visit again.

We have stayed at this spacious villa on two different occasions and have found it to be a well appointed villa at Pawleys. Beautiful amenities, on the golf course, convenient to restaurants, and a delightful place to relax. We will go again.
