Enjoy the tranquilty on the north end of Half Moon Bay, an easy drive, just over one hour, down the 307 from the Cancun Airport. We have the beaches you crave, the water you love, lovely restaurants dotting the beach, water sports, spectacular sealife right out the front door. The only thing missing are the crowds.
Walk upstairs to your quiet, private, third floor Condo (no elevator) and enjoy breath-taking views from almost every room and the large oceanfront terrace. The master bedroom and guest bedroom terraces offer yet another view around the point, over our pool, roof tops, jungle and back to the sea. Your views are truly endless.
The decor is predominatly calm blues and vibrant turquoise to mirror the shades of Half Moon Bay itself. It is an astounding place to relax, to snorkel, to nap, to listen to the waves.
Bring your snorkel shoes, your fins and mask and visit the sealife, a world of coral reefs and lovely fish. Enjoy our large pool in a lush garden setting or our small ocean front shaded cenote pool--perfect for really cooling off! Beach towels are also provided.
We are happy to send you many underwater photos taken right out in Half Moon Bay. Just ask! In fact, ask us anything. Restaurants? Nearby Attractions? Ruins? That's what we are here for. We love Half Moon Bay in Akumal. We are sure your will too.

Why the Owner Chose Akumal
Akumal hit me like magic the first time we visited. Over the years Bay of Akumal has gotten busier Half Moon Bay is still like a jewel! Even on the busiest days we noticed few people in the water. We have stayed during every season including holidays and have never seen rush for a beach chair or place to claim your own spot of sand. No boat traffic in this Bay either so you don't have to look over your shoulder every few minutes. It's amazing that 9 years after our first visit Half Moon Bay feels exactly the same as it did the first time we set foot in this Caribbean water.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
This North end of Half Moon Bay is so quiet. The huge garden and pool area act as a buffer between you and the little street noise on Half Moon Bay. Very very little walk through traffic on the beach. This close to the reef the snorkeling gets exciting almost right away. Very little wave action means it's easy to take the little ones in too--the water is shallow and calm on most days.

The condo is georgous and comfortable and all the little amenities (like the books that we could look up the fish we have been seeing) added so much! Thanks for providing the BBQ, too. Your recommendations on what to do and where to go made us feel a little less "gringo" and a little more like seasoned travelers (but I don't think we fooled the locals at all).

Hi Whitney, We just got back from our trip to your condo and had the best time!!!! Thank You So Much EVERYTHING was perfect! The staff there was Wonderful – Hector, Rena and the rest of the crew were SO helpful. THANK YOU for the barbeque we weren’t expecting such a nice new one! Anyway the trip was so terrific that we would like to book for April 12th thru the 19th. We are also are thinking of returning the first week in November. We will need to check with work and make sure those dates are okay. And Thanks Again For Such A Wonderful Trip!!!

We are recommending your place to anyone who is traveling in that direction. We didn't seem to get to as many places as we had planned, but that's because we were so happy where we were.
